I suspect that it's not the sales reps' fault; I'm sure that a large part of their pay is commission based, and they are likely handed a script of sales drivel to deliver to unwitting customers, who they hope do not ask every possible question that would uncover hidden charges. Sales agent Bryce convinced my husband and me that our family phone plan (then 4 lines, $242/mo.) would not increase with the addition of an additional phone. Alas, it seemed too good to be true, and indeed it was. Our new bill is $299/mo., and we didn't even need the extra line (I took advantage of it for our 7-year-old daughter, who of course does not need a phone). When I called the store to ask why this wan't addressed, the line disconnected seven times. When I finally reached an agent, he told me that "don't handle billing questions." Do not trust anyone in this store. We will be buying out our phones and switching to Mint.

It became time for an upgrade and Michael Jurta sold me my iPhone 12 PRO MAX, and he walked me through some of the difficulties that I was experiencing (my learning curve). This is an extremely busy location for a reason! They take the time to focus on your individual needs, and over the years have earned my repeat business. As long as Libbie is there, I will continue coming to this Verizon Store location!

It's the only reason I am rating this spot with an extra star. He deserves 5 but unfortunately we had a second experience that deserves 1. Sadly, the phones we wanted were out of stock and so Kasey ordered them, they would take 2 days to arrive. He gave us a detailed breakdown of all costs in writing and told us we can pick them up and activate them the day they come in. Kasey was off the day our phones came in and TESSA was who we dealt with. Unfortunately Tessa was not pleasant at all and made us feel like we were burdening her by coming in, lots of eye rolling and an annoyed heavy exhale when we told her why we were there. The entire store smelled like fried food and we could see they had a spread of Five Guys behind the registers. Perhaps she was mad she had to help us and sell us accessories to go with the new phones we bought instead of finish her lunch? Tessa went out back and I was talking very quietly and privately with my family and she came back to the front, glared at us and said "what". I was shocked, first of all it's not your business and second, why would you speak to a guest this way? To top off this visit, we were never charged for a set up fee in the past nor were we told during our first visit by Kasey that we would pay an in store set up fee, we only were told about the activation fee with Verizon. When we asked what the in store charge was for and explained it was not mentioned on our previous paper work given to us by Kasey, which she had in her hand, she gave a condescending response that it was for her having my number moved from previous carrier to Verizon (this doesn't explain 2 charges one number was being carried over the other was a brand new number and she didn't set that phone up) she followed up with "I can't wave this fee it's a standard franchise charge". We were also told by Kasey and another Verizon rep at different location that there was a charging accessory package with a free wireless charging station and when we inquired about the accessories package with Tessa she pointed to a wall without looking up to tell me to pick out a case, I did this and when we were checking out she wasn't even going to give me the charging cord, I had to ask for it and we never even got the wireless charger. Really disappointed in her service, she made a comment to my young children when I walked away "wow your mom seems stressed", well the fact that you Tessa have treated me so poorly and have been very rude to us, yes I would seem a little stressed seeing how I'm spending a lot of money and you are treating us like dirt. This experience reminded me that poor customer service is the reason I rather deal with a robot over the phone or click to shop than a deal with a a condescending rude company rep. I hope the owner of this franchise reads this and properly deals with Tessa. Kasey needs a raise and Tessa needs training.

So I brought it back, they replaced it again but told me it still wasn't working, so they replaced the Home button. I picked it up and noticed the Home button didn't appear to "click" properly but ignored it, because I am an optimist. I shelved the iPad, as I only use it when traveling, but when I got it out to use it, the screen was coming off the iPad. See attached pictures. In the area where it was coming off the worst, the screen was cracked. It was pretty obvious to me that it was cracked because of the fact that it was slowly peeling off the iPad, as it hadn't been used, but I of course cannot prove that. So I reached out to Joe the owner, who said it's not covered because of the crack. In our text correspondence he used the phrase "Not looking to go 10 rounds with you." which I found amusing, that this business owner likens customer service to boxing. I cannot recommend doing any sort of business here, unfortunately.

Welcome to Wireless Zone, where the motto is apparently: "Thanks for shopping, now bend over."…read more See, most places try to earn your business. Wireless Zone? Nah. They just slap you with an automatic $49.99 "Ready?Go!" fee for the privilege of buying a phone there. That's right, a fee to become a customer. It's like a cover charge for a store, except there's no band, no drinks, and you leave with a receipt and a migraine. And the best part? The phone costs the exact same everywhere else! You're not getting a deal. You're not getting a bonus. You're getting got. Now, if you're thinking, "Well, surely they tell you about this magical fee," ohhh no. That would be ethical. Instead, they sneak it onto your bill like a fart in an elevator, hoping no one notices until it's too late. And if you do notice? Well, if you're still in the store, maybe, maybe! you can stop the scam. But if you already left? Congratulations! You can return the phone... and pay a $50 restocking fee. Because nothing says "customer service" like charging you to undo the ripoff they never told you about. So here's a tip: if you enjoy throwing away $50 for absolutely nothing, just hand it to a raccoon. At least he might juggle it for you. If you want a Verizon phone, go literally anywhere else. Your wallet will thank you, and you won't feel like you just got mugged in broad daylight by a guy in khakis and a name tag.
