Previously, I've come in here for some scrub bottoms in the height of the pandemic (when most stores were closed), and was happy with the quality and price for the scrubs. They bottoms didn't have silver imbued into the cotton fibres (as an antimicrobial feature) as some other brands do, but I just needed something urgently. Recently, I've been looking for a holiday sweater for a long, long time and I found one! I think the quality is okay; I'm not sure how long it will last. I'm happy that I found something that I can rock this holiday season (with bells on the sweater too!). :D

My favourite things to purchase other than notebooks include office supplies, calendars, birthday or special occasion cards, and chocolates and gum. They also sell kids toys that seem pretty cool, and also material for arts and crafts. Definitely worth swinging by if you're looking to save a few bucks!

There were three employees working in the checkout line we were in. There was the cashier, an employee packing up the shopping cart, and the other employee chatting up customers and offering to get boxes. We had lunch at the food court. It only took a few minutes for our food to be ready after ordering at one of the kiosks. The downside was that there weren't as many tables as I've seen at other Costco locations.

Some of my go-to's include: -Rotisserie chicken -Lasagne -Seaweed snacks -Bananas -Sausages -Tiramisu cakes -Baby spinach -Oh, and notebooks Costco pharmacy is arguably the most affordable pharmacy around. The technicians are very busy but they're nice and will pick up the phone even during the busiest hours. The food court is my favourite, but I think it's closed during the pandemic. If you haven't had one of their iconic $1.50 hot dogs yet, definitely give it a try. Their ice cream cones are amazing too. The parking lot is huge but always busy. Washrooms are clean. Staff are nice. Just a warning that this place gets SUPER busy at times, even during the pandemic. Always expect to be near others and long check-out lines are the norm. Happy shopping!

I love Costco based on the fact that I can buy copious amounts of food for cheap. I generally buy…read moremy yogurt, chips (gigantic bags 2 for $10) and other snacks here (skinny pop and roasted chick peas). Their health and beauty items (deodorant, feminine products and medicine) is a great deal. Samples are awesome as well but they usually aren't being served when I go (Thursday or Wednesday evenings). Cashiers however are less than friendly and generally don't even greet you. As a customer service employee myself it kind of irks me when I get less than stellar service. The snack bar is also delicious (with mediocre customer service) you can't beat a hot dog and a pop for $2. Their fries are also magical, Costco makes one of the best poutines I have ever had.

It felt rather depressing at first, as a number of stores had closed for good. However, if you love Factory Direct and Winners, this strip mall is worth stopping by. This store is large, clean, and bright. I managed to buy a phone accessory (a USB cable). I get many of my phone goodies from Winners. The selection is different at each store and USB cables are at decent prices. Folks are friendly in London. The staff at this store were no exception. (16)

Tip: This business is online and specializes in quality nail wraps…read more I've been using nail wraps for a few years now. I like them over nail polish because the latter takes what feels like forever to dry, even when using a nail fan to dry the polish. My favourite nail wrap brand is Dashing Diva. I used to buy them at Winners, but they are no longer available at the stores that I frequent regularly. I liked the cheaper prices at Winners. Shoppers Drug Mart has a couple of Dashing Diva styles that go for $14 and I refuse to buy them at that price. When I do visit the States, TJ Maxx has Dashing Diva products. I tend to stock up before I return home. Long story short, I have been trying to find an online business that specializes in quality nail wraps like Dashing Diva. I have finally found Peachy Peach Nails that fits all criteria. Quality. Lasts for at least two weeks. Cute designs. Prices that don't break the bank. The bonus? It's a Canadian business that hails from London, Ontario. Yay! This place has a decent selection of nail wrap designs. Each set of nails wraps goes for $5, which is highly affordable. You get 18 wraps in each set. I find that they are long enough that you can use one for two nails, such as your pinky finger's nail. If you buy four sets, you get a fifth for free, which feels like getting away with nail wrap murder. I placed my order and it got to me within five business days through Canada Post. Pretty good! I liked all the stickers on the envelope containing my order. I also got some shiny stickers. It's like this business knew me well for years. My laptop has stickers all over its clamshell case. What wowed me the most was a handwritten message, thanking me for my order. I am a sucker for personalized, handwritten messages. It was such a nice, thoughtful touch. My order came with a sample pack to practise prepping my nails, sticking the wraps on, filing them down, and admiring them. I also got a nail file and a cuticle stick that proved helpful. I tried the sample wraps and love them. The thickness is impressive. They go on smoothly. They file off nicely. I love them. Peachy Peach Nails has how-to videos on its online site. I have watched both the application and removal videos of their wraps. I have learned so much! I have been using a top coat to have my wraps last a lot longer. The site recommends not using Quo because it will shrink the wraps. I love Quo's top coat. Luckily, I ran out of it recently, so I won't use it on these wraps. The best time to apply the wraps is before going to bed. It allows the wraps to set and you won't be washing your hands while you sleep. For years, I tend to do my nails on a Sunday afternoon, after I'm done cooking up a storm and washing my hands like crazy. Although I don't wash my hands for a few hours, I have had to change my routine to doing them before I hit the sack. I love the nail wrap styles. Pandas. Rainbows and clouds. Cats. A dreamy purple pattern. Watercolours with glitter. Each style is so different. They are all so pretty and nice. It was wonderful to have found this business. I'm a fan. (352)
