They had the cutest watermelon skirt. I've wanted a watermelon outfit since I was a toddler. Not sure why I never sewed one for myself. Today being Canada Day (YAAAAAY FOR CANADIANS NEW AND OLD! We are the most welcoming country to people of all backgrounds, lifestyles, gender identities, languages and religions!), the store isn't open but the website is. Highlights: 1. Free shipping over $25 (not sure if that is a time-limited offer) or you can pre-pay and pick it up in-store. 2. Comprehensive size chart that tells you how to measure (so needed and yet so rarely done well). 3. Generous, easy, clear return policy. Put the free return label on the package, get it to Canada Post and you are done. 4. Wide selection including lingerie, jewellery, accessories, aprons, leggings, scarves and special occasion dresses. Urban Planet is clean, and well maintained. My only issue: there's always just one staff who does everything. Today, I was in line and there were 2 people ahead of me. One of the ladies in front of me tried using an online coupon on her phone and it wouldn't work, clogging the line. After waiting for 20 minutes, I finally put down the items I wanted to buy and left. If there were 2 staff, the line would've disappeared in minutes. Give Urban Planet a try if you love cheap yet amazing clothes, but be prepared to wait in line for the next 20 years.

A fellow customer was much more helpful and I told her I'd give her a reference if she was looking for a job (she wasn't). So virtually no help. Won't go back there again. I understand businesses want to get rid of instore shopping and their lack of service might get them there but, there are still customers who prefer to shop in person - Skechers might want to make those customer's experiences a little more user friendly.

I enjoyed London. On Saturday, I decided to figure out where everything was. I stumbled across this Skechers store, which was next to the MEC store that I had wanted to visit. I love Skechers. I would be an excellent spokesperson for the brand and would not stop anyone from giving me free sneakers. They are comfortable and are accommodating to women who have large feet. I wear a size 11. Luckily, Skechers makes shoes for me. If you go to the back of the store, you will find clearance shoe items. I found a wonderful, comfy pair of sneakers. The foam insoles are heavenly. My sneakers were 40% off. I was wearing sandals at the time. There are plenty of clean, disposable foot socks. I slipped a couple on and tried my soon-to-be-mine sneakers. Staff here are nice and chatty. I would recommend visiting this store if you are in London. (229)

I was in the store with my daughters today Sunday November 26 to try on some outerwear, my daughter had to assist me by reaching for the higher level items I wanted to try on as well as look for special hook to take them down while two sales ladies at the desk which were maybe two feet away watched us. We were not greeted nor acknowledge with the exception of the young gentleman working in the men's department the entire time we were in the store. I did happen to make my purchase and left the store wondering if I should return it simply because the service was so horrific at the lack of customer service for a high end store. I doubt I will ever walk in there again. I would not recommend shopping in the woman's dept unless you want to feel invisible.

My prom was scheduled for May 1st and when May came, I had no dress! 5 months of waiting and I had no dress. They blamed the delay on COVID-19 which makes no sense as the dress would've shipping LONG before the outbreak as I ordered it in December. On exactly May 1st I was told that the dress would be here in 2 weeks. It is now June 17th and I have no dress. I was told it would be MAXIMUM another 2 weeks... a month and a half ago. They will not answer any messages now or return my calls. When I got through to the staff, they REFUSED to put the manager on the phone. My best guess is that they forgot to order my dress in December and tried to rush order it in May when I called. Moral of the story; I'm the only girl without her dress. All of my friends who ordered them from Elizabeth Noel, have a dress. All I have is a wasted deposit.
