I shop at this store regularly, and would consider myself somewhat used to bad service, but I deal with it because of the cheap clothes. However, yesterday they took the poor service too far. There was a lineup of 12 or 13 customers at the cash (this line was going out further than the area they had allotted for a typical line), and there was ONE cashier open! Supposedly, the reason for this was because a man was trying to return a coat... they had 3 regular employees as well as one person who appeared to be a manager, all crowded around a single cash to assist this man? Seemed a little unnecessary to me. To top it off, there were 2 additional employees standing on the other side of the cashiers, talking and doing something with hangers in a large bin? These two kept looking over at the line up, but neither came to open another cash?
Finally, another employee who appeared to come from her lunch break came to open a second cash... but couldn't any of the other 5 employees have done that? Don't most stores have policies for that? read more
