Stasia just relocated one month ago to 1104 Central Ave in Saskatoon and only because of this did I…read morenotice the boutique. I've driven past it many times without noticing it in previous locations and apparently it's been around for 12 years. Oops. I like the decor, especially the chandeliers and the change rooms. Kudos to the owner for hanging hand held mirrors, allowing you to check out your rear view while trying on clothes. I value this a lot, especially when trying on pants. I literally bring a compact mirror while shopping just for this reason, so I noticed the hand held mirrors right away. I like that Stasia sells some higher end clothing because I can't seem to find formal business attire in good condition in most other consignment stores in the city. I scored a $400 Danier leather coat for $38. There's a $10 rack and all clothes that don't sell after 3 months are reduced by 50%, which may be normal for many consignment stores, but you can take your chances and wait for something that seems pricey to more closely meet your thrift shopping budget if you want that brand name item. When I return, I'll likely find out if they will tell you when something will go on sale if it hasn't sold.

Saturday Jan 17 th evening was my 2nd and likely last time I will try to sell any premium or luxury…read morefashion to Style Encore . store The brand promotes itself as a modern fashion boutique focusing on pre-owned sustainable premium and luxury fashion and outerwear and accessories . They also promote in all their various marketing media that they are very interested in purchasing quality gently used premium brand fashion and outerwear . I have been to the store twice and had very poor experiences both times when bringing high quality items in exceptional condition . The biggest issue is the systems or process is subjectively conducted by staff whom don't have the knowledge or experience to purchase premium and luxury items . When they are not familiar with a brand they just decline it with explanations which are random and obscure. It's a process convenient for Style Encore staff but not respectful of the customers time and effort to haul the items into the store for consideration .The amount offered compared to value of item was below any reasonable standard of business ethics .The higher quality resale luxury and premium boutiques across Canada have a more efficient buying process' pre qualifying the items and often booking the time with the seller before they come into the location to ensure the sellers time and effort is respected . Both times I tried selling to Style Encore were very disappointing .The overall customer selling experience to Style Encore is reflected in the inventory . I found the inventory to be like a thrift store with quality premium and luxury brand items added. Many of premium items were significantly more expensive compared to same item at thrift stores .I have 34 years B2B resale and specialized services business experience and 5 years of buying and selling premium and luxury modern fashion and outerwear as a p/t side gig . I brought top end brands to sell Style Encore including in Hugo Boss - (new with tags) Tory Burch , Savaltore Farragamo , DL 1961( NWT) , Caterpillar( NWT) Tiger of Sweden ( NWT), Nudie Jeans , Indian Motorcycle ( NWT) , Leather Nike Air , Bunker Chukka Boots never worn , Several top Niche European boutique brands which came from Ultimo Euromoda (NWT) . I brought probably 80-90 items 95% were new with tags and the offered $12 for 3 items . The staff also told me the new items were "all stained ". I asked to see what kind of stains since my inventory has been stored indoors and I folded every pair of pantsflipped through several pairs of the new pants and there was zero " stains " there was an odd pair with some minor spot which is causing by handling .To say they were " all stained " was insulting and just lazy language . Style Encore seemed familiar with stains there was a pair of women's Sorel winter boots that were prominently displayed that were stained and discoloured and washed out looking ( far from gently worn ) . I had a similar frustrating experience as my first time trying to sell items at the store over 3 years ago when a young staff was telling me that like new $1400 Salvatore Farragamo women's loafers and were vintage and they didn't purchase vintage . The shoe looked luxury and the buyer could taken a few moments to go onto the company website as see the exact shoe which was a Salvatore's Farragamo Penny Loafer . Tory Burch had been recognized as a top luxury resale brand in Vogue business the same person buying wasn't interested in the Tory Burch shoes in like new condition . When briefly I flipped through the men's jeans section , I never seen premium brands .The pants I flipped thru were priced low similar to value village but I hadn't even heard of the brands . Yet they declined multiple Hugo Boss ( NWT) Tiger of Sweden , DL 1961 ( NWT) which sell at top men stores for $225-$275 . I won't sell clothes to Style Encore as I have 2 experiences which were and a waste of my time and the customer service was super weak and the dishonesty is either very rude or lazy effort .
