My experience with him left much to be desired, however. Due to me being in and out town often, I was forced to communicate either through phone or email with David regarding plans for my wedding suit. His email correspondence was inconsistent at best which led to many miscommunications. Additionally, David initially quoted me ~$300 for suit jacket and pants. All said and done, he charged me $700. I do not know where an extra $400 might have arose -- unless a white dress shirt cost as much -- but David was not very informative about how much exactly he was charging me. As much as I think David is a great guy, I felt rather ripped off. I recommended that my friend (whom was getting married shortly after me) go to David's for his suit because my experience up to that point had been great and the price was comparable to Moore's (whose customer service is characteristically not good). He had an almost identical experience as I did, getting quoted one price and charged a vastly different one by the end. I felt bad that I had recommended he go to David's for a good experience and price only for us both to be let down in the end. Overall, I still have a bad taste in my mouth from my experience with David's overall, and would not recommend anyone who has finances in mind go here. Bite the bullet and sacrifice your consumer experience and go instead to Moore's, or find some other local place that is more honest about their prices and better at communicating with you.

I tried a lot of places but no store had what I needed...a winter boot that performed like a hiking boot but gave the traction and warmth of a traditional Sorell boot...Until I walked into Outer Limits....The staff were very knowledgeable and well trained to fit me with what I needed. They suggested a boot I would never have picked and it was perfect. The customer service was exceptional and I will be a return customer for many years based on this experience.

Better Off Duds is well organized and not overwhelming because the racks and shelves are reasonably stocked. There are men's and women's clothes as well as accessories and shoes. I purchased an absolutely awesome floor length, orange maxi dress and I might add that the two girlfriends who accompanied me found clothes in plus sizes that fit them well. The business card says size and gender inclusive, and it's true. The back of this cozy store has a small amount of home decor, kitchenware and other classic goodies. If I had money to burn, I would have bought more items. I really liked that the dressing rooms were clean and sizable. I think it's safe to assume that the woman working while I shopped last week was the owner. She was really friendly. An acquaintance of mine knows her and said that she's really involved in the community and works at bringing small business owners together, which I think is great. Saskatoon needs more passionate people like this.

The first purchases were okay but I had to take a pair of pants back that were obviously sized wrong, plus I needed a few more items. The tags were still on the pants but my husband had the receipt so I figured a straight swap for a small size. How wrong could I be! the pants I wanted were not in a smaller size but there was another pair slightly different ( a tie string) I liked them so I took them to the counter. I asked to exchange and told her I didn't have the receipt but we were on the store 2 days prior and she had served me.plus they still had the tags on Nope she was having none of it and refused to help where that was concerned, Trying not to be deflated by her attitude I agreed to bring them back to the store with the receipt. she eventually offered to put a pair of pants on the wall until I returned, in the meantime I purchased the rest of the items needed well I thought I had because I handed her a $100 bill and she declined it unless I gave her my ID! I have never come across this in all the years I've shopped. thankfully my friend changed the note for me so I was able to purchase them. I walked out the store feeling very frustrated and very dissapointed in the customer service I had recieved. all she kept saying it was company policy! Anywag I had agreed to go the next day with the reciept but unfortunately because I'm disabled and suffer acutely with pain I could not go until 4 days after to which I returned with my husband and receipt. Saturday August 31st. I managed slowly to get to the store still in terrible pain but was determined to exchange these pants! when we got there there was a sign on the door saying cash only , my first thought was oh boy she is going to be looking at a lot of IDs , anyway as I hobbled into the store a store representative asked if he could help so I explained that the lady had told me that all I had to say was you have pants put to the side with the name Chloe and that I could just exchange them, his answer was oh that won't hapoen not today!! the pants were still on the wall which she had hooked them up, so deflated again I went to the till. her answer was no I can't exchange them then complained I hadn't gone back when I said I would. I reminded her I'm disabled and we live out of town, she then proceeded to say I had put her in a a bad position. by this time I had enough, I repeated again my position and all I wanted to do was leave with the pants . she eventually agreed and just wrote the details down which she could of done in the first place but whatever I had my pants, everyone was paying cash but I didn't hear her ask for ID either.
