I brought my grad dress to Ana's Sewing after a previous seamstress absolutely butchered my dress. From now on I will only trust Ana. After finding out my dress was cut uneven, and poorly done from a seamstress I first went to, I thought I was out of options. After spending good money on my dream dress, and seeing it in such state really broke my heart. I called Ana's Sewing and they took me in right away. During the appointment I was reassured there was still hope for my dress, and Ana went through plenty of options on how she could go about fixing my dress. She did not once pressure me, or make me feel uncomfortable which I greatly appreciated after having a horrible experience with the previous seamstress. I felt right away as if I could trust her. Ana made me as a customer, a priority and worked on my dress as careful as possible. You can tell she takes pride in her work, and making customers feel at ease. I will from now on trust her with any future alterations. I got my dress back in less than a week, and I was in shock about how nicely done my dress was. Even though some alterations on the dress could not be fixed unless cut further shorter, she did a fabulous job blending it out. Great price overall and very satisfied with Ana's work! read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR WEDDING DRESS HERE. IF 1 star = Not good, then this place should be -5 for disastrous. My daughter took a beautiful wedding dress in (Stella 6758) 8 weeks before the wedding. Ana refused to put in a small piece of lace to decrease the length of the deep V saying it was impossible (two other seamstresses laughed at that comment), instead suggesting she sew the deep V together whilst assuring us she had altered this style of dress before and it was "easy to do. " When my daughter went to the next fitting, the waist band sat crooked and was right at the bottom of her breasts, the breast seams were lumpy and bumpy, the shoulder seams had been hiked up so much that her boobs were being pushed up and the side seams were too tight. She wanted to charge us over $600 for her hack job. We instead paid a ransom of $330 to get the dress out of the store. We took it to a new seamstress who was appalled at the job Ana did, saying she "butchered it," saying that seamstress who knows what she's doing doesn't touch the breast seams much less sew a V together which shifts everything around. The bustle was incorrect and the hem was crooked. AND this is not the first time she has had to rescue dresses from Ana's incompetence. The new seamstress has worked wonders with the dress but she was not able to undo all the damage Ana did because so many of the seam allowances were cut. We are now two weeks away from the wedding day and we are looking for a new dress. Ana should be paying for the new dress....if we find one. read more

I have originally taken my wedding dress to a different alterations place and they did a terrible job: it was too large on my chest area, too tight in my hips (could not sit and ripped every time I put it on) and just looked absolutely terrible on. I brought my dress in about a week prior to my wedding and they managed to fit me into their busy schedule and did an amazing job!!!! I would recommend this place to everyone. Ana is an amazing seamstress! I took my wedding dress to her 2 months before my wedding and it's perfect. My dress is a lace mermaid that was extremely tight and long. She was able to tailor it perfectly to my shape. She added the bustle, shortened the straps, and also fixed the boning across the chest which was poking out awkwardly. I definitely recommend her. She was so nice and made me feel comfortable. Her prices were reasonable, for all the alterations she did and the 4 appointments I had, she only charged me $340 (plus tax). read more
