They are now located below the Blue Diamond Restaurant on 22nd Street. I have been to other cleaners, but I was not as imPRESSED, as I am with Westgate's service. I was pleased to know that they had a seamstress to repair the zipper in my jacket (a job well done, I was impressed, again)! I hope that when/if they move again, that they will let me know!

I was a LONG time customer of Mimi's. Gradually, I started thinking her prices were getting a bit…read moreridiculous--I had used Ray's Tailors before too so was comparing Mimi's prices to Ray's. One day, I dropped off a simple lined pencil skirt. She quoted me a price of 30$. I thought that was on the higher end in terms of cost to tailor a skirt, but still within an acceptable range. A couple days later Mimi had left a message saying that it was going to cost more but didn't say why. I could not call her back until business hours were over (I was tied up all day) to tell her to please not go through with it, I would be taking the skirt elsewhere. I was not able to reach her before she did the alterations and she charged me...wait for it... 55$ to tailor a cotton pencil skirt when she quoted me 30$. I was pretty upset, the skirt itself was on sale for less than that. She lost a long time customer that day. Since then, I have been going to Ray's. While they aren't as friendly as Mimi, their prices won't bankrupt you and the do a bit better of a job.

They literally had zero communication between anyone, they sent someone to pick up my clothes, then…read morereturned them 2 days later (so they had all my clothes for 2 whole days and never contacted me) and they were completely unwashed... completely unwashed. Any laundry delivery that takes your clothes for 2 days and returns them without washing them is an absurdly mismanaged business. Could have done it myself in 2 days time: so essentially my time was wasted by a group of confused people.

AVOID. They will WASH your clothing if they think they can get away with it…read more I took three very expensive sweaters in to be cleaned -- all ruined.
