Nearly every single visit, at least one item scans as the wrong price. If I'm at the self checkout, they'll normally adjust the price. If I'm at a cashier, they'll make a big deal out of it, claim that "they can't change the price", then call over someone and send them to "check the price" on the shelf. That person will then come back 5-10 minutes later, insisting that I was looking at a different price for something else. There's a ton of false advertising going on here. The last time I was there, they refused to honor a coupon I had for coffee. The coupon came inside the Keurig coffee machine that I just bought at Walmart! They suggested I take it to the service desk. I did. They still refused to honor the coupon "because the computer won't take it". Are the computers running the store? Wooster Walmart delivery is going down hill fast. They delivered my order, to my door. Delivery not intact. Broke a jar of pickles. Had quite a mess at my door. Twice now put in two orders, both were canceled without a reason. Ordered an arm sleeve, that should have arrived two days ago. Still not here and the real shocker is that no one knows where it is. I do not have a car nor a license. I depend on the delivery service. Customer service is getting crappie all the time. I know mistakes can be made, we are all human. I have, like most people, gone to Walmart as it's convince and is more of a one stop shop. Having 5 children it's easier to hit one store regardless of cost. I had taken three of my young children there to order a cake for my daughters birthday. Now I have a bad back and my youngest son was just an infant in a car seat. So upon arriving I got a cart out of the parking lot to put him in as not to have to carry him the entire time. I put him in the top of the cart and took my two other boys in the store. I ordered the birthday cake and upon leaving I heard someone yelling. Unaware that they were yelling at me another customer told me a staff member was yelling at me. At this time I was in the parking lot just outside the doors. I turned to see what was going on and asked if there was an issue with me taking the cart out. The staff member, who was in the garden department said, " there is if you take something without paying for it" I told her I only ordered a cake and I had a bad back so I was using the cart to put my son in. She began to place her hands behind my infant son searching him and the seat. She found nothing and then said she was just trying to see if I needed help. I was in the parking lot mind you not even in the store. I was so embarrassed and I knew my young sons knew what she was doing. To me this is completely unacceptable behavior on the staff and I am appalled that this happened. read more

I like this Walmart, they usually keep most things stocked, the people are usually friendly. They have recently started stopping some people at the doors and asking to see the receipts, I think this is fine. To all those who complain about it, saying that you are being singled out... let me explain how it works. If you buy anything, and it's not in a bag as you are leaving, they have to check your receipt. Doesn't matter what color or race you are, what your sexual orientation may be or anything else. I like pickles. I get the big jars of pickles that are too heavy to put in a bag. And I get asked for my receipt every time I buy them. You're not being singled out because you're different, you being singled out because the bulk sized toilet paper you bought doesn't fit in a bag. STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT IT. read more

Michael J Kacere, OD in the vision center in the Walmart at 3883 Burbank Rd, Wooster, OH 44691 is a terrible person. I walked in the center without wearing a mask, an employee approached me and told me that I had to wear a mask. I wore one. An employee in the vision center introduced me to Michael J Kacere, he was not wearing a mask but no employee of the center told him to wear a mask. At the time, there were such people who refused to wear face masks and caused troubles although it was required in public. I noticed that he was one of such people and no employee in the center dared tell him to wear a face mask, he seemed to be enjoying it. He was polite to me when he was introduced to me first time but his attitude dramatically changed after he and I walked in an exam room because there was no one else in the room. I didn't write down my occupation in the form, he asked me what my job was, I asked him why he needed to know it, all of sudden he yelled at me saying what my job was. I was shocked and scared with him. He yelled at me again to force me to answer the question. I was in extreme fear and answered the question. He also told me to put off the mask I was wearing although It was unnecessary. I was scared that I could be infected by COVID-19 due to him but his attitude was rude, I put off the mask. The entire exam process with him was an extremely bad experience. Do not go to the Vision Center in the Walmart store. read more

"Not so Kwik-E-Mart" I think this might be my second experience ever in a Wal-Mart. It's such an interesting place. Where else can you walk in to buy Ambesol for your tooth ache and leave with gym shorts and a lifetime supply of ibuprofen? The ibuprofen was a 36 pill container for $2.77? Whaaaaat the what? Our family tries to go to local stores to buy anything. However, I'm giving it a four star review in another category: people watching! The mix of people reminds me of the bar scene in the first (or second? yikes) Star Wars movie. The Wooster Walmart has got to be the worse Walmart I have been in. The staff is miserable (shocker), the management makes up rules that force you to contact corporate, and they are rude. i seriously hate Walmart. Not just this one, but mostly this one - as it's currently the one nearest where i live. sure, there's the convenience of 24 hour shopping, oh wait, no there isn't. there's nothing convenient about it. they close and lock one set of doors so you have to be cattled into the grocery section even if you're shopping for car parts on the opposite side of the store. there's also the fact that everything is closed - pharmacy, deli or whatever. what's convenient about that. if i worked some shift that made it impossible for me to shop regular hours, i'd find this complete inconvenient. there's also the fact that it does, by golly, get busy from time to time after 11pm and if you go in during one of these times, you never know how long you'll have to wait in the ONE line that's open to cash out. Not that the day time is much better. during the day, you might find 5 of their 30+ cashier lines open - almost always full of people. until recently they had only the express lanes for those of us who might be shopping for list a couple things. without fail, there's always some self important a-hole who will waltz up to the express lane with a cart full of groceries.. NOW THAT'S CONVENIENCE(!) - unless you're the sad sack behind him/her carrying a gallon of milk and a box of Wheaties. the best part? no one says anything! there's a f'ing sign that says 20-items or less. why can't some cashier point to it and say to these numbnuts to move to another aisle? there's also nothing better than seeing an elderly person trying to unsuccessfully find a motorized cart to ride around on because all the morbidly obese, lazy MF'ers in town have used them to ride from the doors over to the deli counter (20 feet away) to order their bucket of fried chicken and some mac and cheese wile their bulbous bodies envelop the seats they sit on. i've given up trying to order lunch meat from their deli. While Buehler's may cost almost double, i walk in there and someone greets me immediately. at Walmart, they're usually to busy talking to on another to be bothered to greet a paying customer who may just want to get in and get out. their lunch meat sucks anyway. and just today, i went in after work to drop off a prescription. surprisingly, there was no one in line except one dude who walked in with me. we waited 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged our presence. then, you'll be surprised to know that she didn't know the answers to any of his questions. also, this same woman "helped" me last time i was there dropping of my script and made me wait on her that time too while she did something behind the wall. Isn't Walmart known for having everything under the sun? isn't that what a Superstore is? well they don't. want a 3.5mm Bluetooth wireless adapter for your car? too bad. don't have it. does your grandmother want Stouffer's Chicken A La King? well, they used to have then all at once didn't have it, though it's available at Wadsworth and Medina and Strongsville and North Olmsted and every other f'ing Walmart under the sun. maybe you want Great Value wheat hot dug buns.a hot dog bun shouldn't cost 6 dollars a bag. Well, you're not getting them at Wooster WM. again, you'd have to go to nearly any other WM but not here. also, i love the picture here of some cars in the parking lot. if you could pan out farther you'd see "lines" of cars parked in what could be described as anything but an orderly fashion. you might also see jerkoffs walking right down the middle of the lanes you're trying to drive down because no one has to move out of the way anymore. or maybe you'd see cars driving the wrong direction down the lanes of the parking lot - it's really tough to figure out rudimentary symbols like directional arrows. you's also definitely see carts packed into the cart returns/corral in lines so long it's difficult to drive around them. and in Winter it's even worse. half the lot is just a mountain of snow. the other is a magical forest of overpriced Christmas trees leaving no where to park. the good news is that once you've found a parking spot - probably near McDonald's or Elder Berman, you can rush inside, hopefully before the frostbite kicks in, and gag on the overwhelming smell of cinnamon scented Christmas wreathes. if i have one nice thing to say about Walmart it's that the woman at the pharmacy who ultimately gives me my prescription at the pickup window - again, 4 registers but only 2 are ever open at a time no matter how long the line - that woman is always nice and pleasant, sorta knows my name and is a pleasure to deal with. i should learn her name because she's always there when i go in. i feel like this is exactly what Sam Walton had in mind when he started Walmart. personally, i can't wait to move out of this town just due to service like this. it's not exclusive to Walmart. it's all over this town. no one cares at most establishments here unless they have to rely on tips or something to make money. read more

If your selling that much restock during the day so maybe you can sell more and serve your customers. Open more lanes when busy Stop putting large displays in the aisles so you cant get 2 carts passing each other. In general empty stock locations are frustrating. This happen a lot. This store seems happy to be where they are at. I have not seen any improvement in 3 years. It takes forever for items to be restocked, staff is hit or miss with being friendly and I've had people come up to me in the store claiming to be homeless and asking for money. I had ordered a cake and cupcakes for a graduation party. I arrived at the set time. There were 2 women in the bakery and no one offered to help me. I finally spoke up. One of the ladies went back to get my order and came out with the cake only. She checked the order and said her name was on it but it was probably taken by someone else. She acted like she couldn't be bothered. There was no order for the cupcakes. I had ordered 96 cupcakes in the schools colors. She then said she could make them. I shopped the whole grocery section and came back to the counter. 2 women were working and once again neither acknowledged me until I spoke up. One of the women then said well I'm not done with them yet. She was pretty rude in my opinion. I really wanted to just leave and leave my cartful of groceries. I waited for the cupcakes, thanked her and checked out. The lack of customer service and the "I can't be bothered" actions are why I will not order from the bakery again. I don't even want to go back to this store. She should have asked me because of the inconvenience if I wanted some kind of a discount. She did not. Extremely poor customer service! read more

The cashiers are often rude, so much so that I try to avoid this place at all costs. I went in today to buy plastic storage tubs, the incompetent old broad on the other side of the conveyor tried to reach over to grab them, and kept hitting the switch to move it. So, she comes, huffing and puffing and glaring, over to my side, just to scan it, and simply says "there. now you can move them". Sorry, grandma, I'm not the one who forced your life into such a shambles that you have to work here. Suck it up. There's one creepy little guy who always follows the women through the stores, staring and lurking just an aisle or two away like he's trying to be James Bond. You're not sneaky, just creepy. Yet another reason I despise the place. Every time I see him, I just walk back out without buying. Why he even works there is beyond me, he looks like a kid-snatcher. The lines are long, there's never enough checkout lanes open, and over half of the self-checkout things don't work. Also please, for the love of all that is holy, or unholy, like this mess of a business, HIRE PEOPLE WHO KNOW WHAT THEY'RE SELLING. I went in on another mission a while back-find a video game controller that plugs into your computer. Went back into the Electronics section, and the decrepit old man running the area was useless. I asked where I'd find them, and he's looking at me like I'm inbred, asking "Do you mean a mouse?" No, you ignorant old slob, I know what a mouse is. As I was shopping in the frozen section today, I started talking to two employees. I brought up automation because I noticed all of the self-checkouts this particular store has. One of the employees informed me of some of Walmart's expectations. I told him they seemed a little rough. A man, who I later discovered is the district manager, interjected. He went off on all of us in front of many customers. He noted that he had three employees in front of him that were not working. The two employees never stopped working. And I am not an employee. When I informed him of this, he dismissed me entirely, telling me I could move on while he dealt with the other two. Yet he continued yelling about how he could answer all of my questions about automation. I did not have any questions. I was simply making small talk as I moved down the aisle. I approached him before I left the store, without any of the groceries I had planned on purchasing. I asked for the corporate number and his name. At no point did he apologize for his actions. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. This man literally yelled at me for not working, despite the fact that I am not an employee. Additionally, if he had a problem with the work ethic of the employees, he clearly should have had a meeting with them. What kind of DM yells at employees on the floor? The only place that sold them was Freedlanders, and Barney Laymens at 70 dollars a pair. God I wish for those days when you paid 5times the price for things you could by in any real city! Drive around Wayne county, and you will see plenty of trees, and farmland, sorry we were allowed real choices, and restaurants to eat at, not just TJ'S, and The Barn. You want Walmart to pay unskilled labor like they are PHDs, and have any real skill other than filling a shelf. Get real they save tons of people money because they don't overpay their unskilled workforce. This place gets worse every time I walk in. I can't stand this place anymore and have cut my grocery shopping down to once a month and I still dread it! My most recent visit was absolutely the worst and I refuse to set foot in there again! They were filling their new freezers which weren't even 1/4 done so nothing in there that I wanted and employees out the wazoo jamming up the aisles! Then after I finally make it to the check out a very rude cashier told me I couldn't buy the 12 pack that my 16 year old granddaughter set up for me because she touched it! OMG! I took her with me to help with the heavier things because I had hurt my back and couldn't do much. The cashier was very rude and never explained anything, just that "she touched it!" Needless to say I was p....d! And then I had to go to Buehlers to get everything that I couldn't get at walmart! I have never had such a rotten experience in my life! I shop here all of the time and hate it. So many items are out of stock. Don't dare even go there near the first of the month unless you really don't mind wasting your time. This store used to be awesome. When it was smaller we would go there after dinner on Friday night and walk around to see what was new, talk to people. Now I try to avoid it. The checkouts? Don't even get me started! You shop for like an hour trying to find everything you need only to go upfront and spend a half an hour in the checkout line. A lot of the cashiers look less than enthused to be there and seem to realize that they make just as much money checking out 3 people an hour as they would checking out 6. Some good cashiers at Wooster are Gwen and the older lady that wears the rolled bandana around her head (look for them). So bad one day I waited for 45 min for help at the cutting table in crafts (can't cut your own fabric). I had gone up to Customer Service twice and they called and nothing happened. I got on my phone and called the manager and told her that I was in her store "Now" and needed help and asked if she could find someone to help me. She came out herself to help me and was very kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. Also, the lady in the photo department who is short, white hair, elderly; totally awesome! Do not discount this woman. She knows what she is talking about and she is as spry as any 30 year old. There were a couple of guys in the Electronics Dept that were awesome and knew what they were doing. The one is an older guy with a military style haircut (Ernie, maybe?) and the other guy I think is gone (Trent, young guy, sandy blonde hair). If I could give zero stars I would, I absolutely cannot stand this walmart but when you live in wooster their isn't many other options when it comes to 24hrs, this place is pathetic first off the store is filthy, carts are junk & they never seem to be stocked I've went in there 5 times within a 3wk period looking for pasta sauce & chocolate fudge pop tarts neither item was in stock also a few other things that haven't been stocked in idk how long more than 3 months I kno that much, also bought a food processor price on the shelf said $24.92 got to the register & the Barcode wasn't working a sales associate went to check came back & told me $29.97 which was a complete lie, bought it anyhow.. then after hours they close self checkouts which half of them don't work properly anyways, either one or several are shut down completely or it will only take cards no cash or vice versa & after hours when they leave only one checkout lane open with a line of people half way to the other side of the store, this walmart needs some serious help & a new management team or something until anything is done I will be driving an extra 30 miles one way to another nearby walmart... read more
