Great place to shop for gardening, farming, pet, and outdoor items. Some clothing items are available here too. Looking for a riding mower? Good selection in front of the store and in parking lot. Prices are reasonable...especially the free popcorn. Try it, you'll like it! Popped fresh in-store, and all that's missing is a giant screen. The popcorn tastes like movie popcorn! This is a great place to work. I love this place and the people are amazing in pets that come in to visit.

I've found some good plants for my vegetable garden, plant pots, potting soil, high quality chocolate coconut candies, a battery for my Jeep, a book on chickens, windshield washer fluid, etc. Most recently I purchased a camouflage dog collar, various dog bones and treats, a larger scale toy box truck, Jeep, and and Semi w/ Log Hauler Trailer. As you can see, great selection / variety. Kind, courteous, professional service. Often good prices. Popcorn for customers is a nice feature. A point or two for constructive criticism: At times, it is noticeable that the store location itself could benefit from increased cleaning and / or increased general upkeep. But regardless, this is probably one of my favorite brick and mortar stores. Additional potential bonus: They allow well-behaved, leashed dogs. "An agricultural playground fit for a prince." Don't let her sad exterior throw you. Rural King is a super store for the whole family. Think of Home Depot meets K-mart. Loaded with gobs of candy, clothing and power tools this place would be hard to disappoint. You can't help but find yourself browsing all the aisles for the perfect something you never knew you needed. There is even a "toy" section (kids toys, mind you) and a large plant greenhousey type building. Selection of 'pickled things' is beyond your imagination. The register makes the most beyond obnoxious noise with every thing it scans. This particular store location always irritates me the moment I drive into the parking lot. Big pot holes every where. The condition of the parking lot is really awful. Full of broken pavement. It puts me in a bad mood right away. Thank goodness there is free popcorn to distract me. The inside of the store is usually cluttered and tired looking. I used to like to browse the ladies clothing but now the dept is shoved into the far back corner and they never have anything cute for women. I only go there to buy animal food now. Trying to push a loaded shopping cart through that nasty parking lot makes my angry. I always leave with a bad impression. read more

I am a single older woman. I recently purchased some chics and was wanting to purchase the 10x6 kennel fence panels for my chics to be safe outside. I do not have any friends nor family that have a truck to help me get my fence panels home. Although Wooster RKO doesnt deliver, once I explained my situation, they found an employee with a truck that was willing to deliver the fence panels to my home for me. Within 15 minutes, i had my panels at the house. Thank you so much Wooster RKO for helping me through this tough predicament, for your kindness and generosity. One of the guys who works in the gun store had a mouth about 4 times too big for his brain, but the rest of the employees are okay.

This place can be a little drab in exterior but the prices are good for most stuff. Staff are nice to an extent. Some items aren't marked for a price on the shelf's. Their offer of free popcorn is nice but people leave bags that are emptied all through out the store. read more

Wooster's is the very worst rural king that I have been to. I asked a manager about beet pulp and he was very rude. Of course they didn't carry it, but the other rural kings have it. Later I asked about a particular brand of dog food and same guy gave me a one word answer then continued to walk the other direction. So rude. Aisle were overpacked and hard to get thru. Will never go here again! read more

Great store with wonderful products and a very helpful staff. My family including my handicap daughter and her therapy dog Romeo go here often and grab a bag of popcorn to eat while we shop. The dog,cat and bird food selection are vast and more reasonable than any other store I know of. I travel thirty minutes to shop here and so do a lot of my neighbors. read more
