Great selection and shopping experience. I would highly recommend this to all my friends and family. Definitely better than Walmart.

The manager was really rude and disrespectful. I was kicked out of the store for just shopping. Overall horrible customer service.

While in town for Thanksgiving stopped into Local Roots for lunch. Big D's Soul BQ was the vendor…read morefor the day and oh boy was it. I ordered one piece of fish and a New York chicken rice bowl with the red sauce, but I also added a vegan white sauce since I'm dairy free. The chef even gave us a taste of his gumbo which he was selling the next day. The bowl was amazing. Everything was fresh and cooked well. I was really surprised by the size of the piece of fish which was perch as normally perch is not so large. We were joined by a group of family and friends and everyone enjoyed the food from the mac & cheese to the jerk chicken to the fried fish bowl and falafel. If I'm ever back in town, I will definitely stop by. Well, in the shop, I did a little bit of shopping as well and picked up a very cute leaf pottery. I love how it natural it looks, but then it will also match the other leaf pieces I already have. The store has a wide a food on the shelf or in the fridge section plus really pretty crochet, pottery, jewelry, and other items. The store has something for everyone. Finally, we enjoyed the coffee shop which had really delicious lemonades and a number of people in our party also had coffee drink drinks. When back in Wooster this summer for my niece's graduation, I'll be sure to stop in especially if it's a Friday or Saturday for Big D's Soul BQ.

They had some delicious local baked goods, and a nice addition with local artists work on display. I'm pretty sure anybody can find a treasure here!

"Not so Kwik-E-Mart"…read more I think this might be my second experience ever in a Wal-Mart. It's such an interesting place. Where else can you walk in to buy Ambesol for your tooth ache and leave with gym shorts and a lifetime supply of ibuprofen? The ibuprofen was a 36 pill container for $2.77? Whaaaaat the what? I am such a generic "ok" kid its ridiculous. But even $2.77 is insane. Also scored me some super comfy (and reversible) gym shorts for $7! Where am I?Most importantly why don't we have more of these types of places in NYC? Will admit the check out lines were a bit absurd but all the same not a problem.

Nearly every single visit, at least one item scans as the wrong price. If I'm at the self checkout,…read morethey'll normally adjust the price. If I'm at a cashier, they'll make a big deal out of it, claim that "they can't change the price", then call over someone and send them to "check the price" on the shelf. That person will then come back 5-10 minutes later, insisting that I was looking at a different price for something else. There's a ton of false advertising going on here. The last time I was there, they refused to honor a coupon I had for coffee. The coupon came inside the Keurig coffee machine that I just bought at Walmart! They suggested I take it to the service desk. I did. They still refused to honor the coupon "because the computer won't take it". Are the computers running the store? Or, is the store running the computers? In any case, it's a really crappy way of treating your customers!
