I really only came because I was craving something sweet and ignored my mom's advice that their bakery had nothing good. While I'd never advise ignoring a mother's advice, this time I'm glad I'm did. Sorry, mom! They had an incredible bakery and their overall stick throughout the store was solid. The store itself is clean and spacious and I even came back to snag some stuffed animals for my kids after seeing $50 price tags everywhere else that day. All I know is my parents will certainly be back ;)

I have been coming here regularly for about ten years because they have a good selection of Great…read moreLakes ales. Over that time, I have spent thousands of dollars at this establishment. I am always polite, and you would be hard-pressed to find a more predictable, low-maintenance customer--I buy the same thing almost every time and end the transaction with "thank you" and drive away. The weekday/morning cashier with the dark hair is quick and efficient, but she is also consistently rude. She seems annoyed if I ask even the most basic question, which I rarely do. I understand that people who work with the public frequently deal with other difficult people. But taking that frustration out on polite, long-term regular customers is just bad business. I was willing to overlook the attitude for a very long time, but after ten years of this, I'll be going elsewhere.

They have some gluten-free food items, some refrigerated. Their selection of vitamins is astounding, different caps and herbs from all over the world (i'm partial to the Swedish Bitters when I can't get my normal ones, though they're an expensive import and it's reflected in the price.) They also carry a selection of locally-made and organic products, things like dental products, shaving accessories and plenty of soaps. Finally, they've got a sweet selection of various candy, lots of licorice (the REAL Zotz included.) If I was a healthier person, i'd probably appreciate this store a lot more, but from my health-guru best friend, this place is da bomb.
