Personal service at every counter and a great selection at self-serve. The bakery goods are mouth watering and the breads are homemade fresh and tasty. Beer and wine? Plenty of excellent choices in a wide range of prices. The craft beer selection is off the chart magnificent and you won't be disappointed with the wide selection of wines. Fresh cheeses? WOW - get your nose and palate ready, once again the selection is so wide you'll have trouble deciding. Fruits and vegetables are my preference - they must have a selection of every apple grown. Organic and non-organic is available. They even offer some exotic fresh fruits you won't find elsewhere. No matter what time of year the supply of fresh, fresh and more fresh is available. Even their packaged "fresh" items like spring mix or kale are extraordinarily tasty when comparing them with similar items bought elsewhere. I could go on but you're better off visiting yourself to see the other great items that are boxed or frozen with a great gourmet selection throughout the store.

Heinen's Hudson Sushi Department…read more Apparently, Heinen's sushi preparers would rather LOSE customers than make a fresh sushi roll! What an astonishing way to run a business! Ask for freshly prepared sushi and you're met with rude, dismissive attitudes and directed to previously prepared rolls instead. The Golden Tempura Roll is especially disappointing, with shrimp that's often cold, hard, or mushy. Since when did crispy tempura become optional at premium prices? In today's economy, EVERY dollar matters! Customers are strategically deciding where to spend every cent while businesses are open one day and shuttered the next. Yet this department treats paying customers like inconveniences and lost sales like they don't matter. Heinen's reputation for quality means little when the service and product fail to reflect it. Businesses don't survive because customers NEED them. They survive because customers CHOOSE them. And your employees are giving customers every reason to choose somewhere else!

Let's start with I am seriously a tough critic and hard to please (check my reviews) as I believe…read moremost shops or people are out to rip you off. I usually do my own repairs but let's face it 2021 has been cold and I am getting too old to lay on the ground in the wintertime. I knew I needed a starter in my van as it had been acting up lately, I finally broke down and called a handful of shops. The first one that intrigued me was this shop, Midas on Kent rd., as the gentleman on the phone was kind, courteous, very helpful and quoted me a price over the phone for what I wanted fixed. My experience from the time I dropped off the van until I picked up the van was also very pleasant; I noticed the phone being answered on time and the employees stayed constantly working and courteous to the customers. When I spoke with the manager "Jason" (I think) there were no shenanigans, the van was fixed, and everything looked great. I will visit this Midas again with this staff, in my experience it's the people that make the company. Thanks Midas.

They then said the air filters need replaced, and this after spending over $1200, I'm still sitting with their problem. I activated my roadside assistance through my insurance which was a headache to say the least. The first company they dispatched did not pick up my car, after 2 hours of waiting they said "they couldn't find the car" and cancelled the request. After jumping through several phone calls and frustrations with my insurance, Kinneys Towing was dispatched. I called right away to explain where my car was, and that I'm unfamiliar with the area but I did have a pin dropped. The dispatcher was so kind and understanding in helping to locate the correct area. As soon as I hung up, Tim the tow driver called me. He also listened as I tried to best explain where was my car was in an unfamiliar area. He called me once we located my car, once it was loaded and again when he had secured the car in their lot for the night, sending a picture along as well! After the scare of getting in an accident, being away from home and the headache of AI bots through my insurance, a thank you to Tim and Kinneys isn't big enough! Their kindness and update truly gave me piece of mind! I hope I never need a tow in the Akron/canton area again, but if I do, I will call Kinneys directly! I am so appreciative for their service!!
