However it is laid out pretty well as far as being able to find what you are looking for. They sell everything from furniture to home decor to food and even wine and beer. Plus you can always find unique small items that can make great gifts. We did browse the wine and beer section. They had some decent deals. I also appreciated seeing several Ohio craft breweries included in the offerings. One of the best parts about World Market is the candy and snacks. You can find lots of traditional favorites. However the best part is how many options you can find from other countries or just unique flavors. It's so much fun to see the huge variety offered. Spices are another great bet here. They have pretty good prices. There are always some unique seasoning blends available. If you are in the area definitely check out World Market. You never know what you will find.

And in less than two weeks it will be gone too. I stopped in twice this week to get my fix of the ham salad and pineapple fluff and a few other deli items. Smiley face cookies were sold out (although they are going to try to have a batch out every day before they close). Grocery items were 30% off so I stocked up on some canned goods and such. When I lived near the North Canton store, I would often shop there, but hadn't made Fishers my go-to for awhile now, since I was not close to one anymore. Someone posted on facebook that it would be a great idea if they could resurrect their brand somehow, and open just a deli and sell all the things that their Super Fans love the most: chicken salad, spinach dip, pumpkin pudding, ham salad, potato salad, pineapple fluff, etc. I think that's a great idea. If not, then we will sadly say goodbye to a business that has been here since the 1930s. Syonara, old friend. It's been a wild ride. I wish all of the Fisher family and employees the best.

They would also have a food table of snacks like meatballs, cheese and crackers, fruit, etc. They fell off my "wine radar," but in July we were driving by. I stopped in to buy some wine and inquired about their wine tastings. I found out that they have wine tastings Sept-May, every Friday, from 4:30-7pm, for $12. I stopped in for their first fall tasting last night at 6:10pm. They had 5 wines (bottle prices were: two $10, two $20 and one $50). I work in Akron till 5, don't get home till 5:45, so 6:10 was the earliest I could ge there. However, even with 50 minutes left (1/3 of their tasting session), they had no food left. There had been meatballs, cheese and crackers and fruit. For all of you that regularly go to wine tastings, each of their 5 pours were half the size of Top Shelf Liquor's pours (Top Shelf has Friday 5-7 wine tastings). It ended up being $14 vs. Top Shelf's $5. So due to the small pours and high price and no food left, I won't be back. Plus when I went to pay, the register said $14.91, but they said it would be $15.90 something. I said tax on $14 is less than $1, so that was incorrect. He still said it was $15.90. Then after calculating 6.5% manually on $14 on a calculator and the result being 91, he said it was $14.91. So they tried to overcharge me twice. At least we had a nice time at a friend's house drinking wine afterwards.
