It is a very basic grocery store but you don't have a lot of choices in town. If you don't expect much you won't be disappointed.

Nice small grocery store. I went there while visiting a friend and they had a good enough selection of stuff. I'd go back.

I stopped in because they had a sign that said "Coffee All Day" and I was dying for a cup. The…read moresetup is basic; just regular coffee with your choice of a few creams and regular sugar to $1.99 for a small cup. No frills, just straight up coffee. But next to the coffee was the donut case, and I did not expect to get seduced so easily, but alas I fell hard. For a mere $2.49 had an amazing maple cream stick. Not too sugary sweet. The inside was filled with almost like a rich whipped cream versus a buttercream. The shell was lightly fried, not greasy. And the maple topping was smooth, not gritty, and evenly applied across the donut so I got some with every bite. I'm going to think about this donut for a long time. I also snagged a box of fritters for the rest of the crew, but I sat silently on their porch swing and ate that donut and drank my basic coffee in blissful silence. It was the perfect way to start my day. They also offer an abundance of groceries and supplies for campers since the campground is nearby. It appears there is a little restaurant that's adjacent and a walk-up window for morning donut and coffee runs that closes at 10:30am. A very nice surprise to stumble upon this place during our camping trip. Definitely worth stopping in!

Kroger has a great reputation for liquor pricing, so why not. I walked straight back to the booze but unfortunately they had nothing of interest. All good and part of the hunt. I was not mad. So in the future if back in this rural area of Ohio I would not object to trying them out again.

When I go there around holiday times, NEVER any grocery carts. Dead scooters near ALL the time. Other than that, I have NO complaints about shopping in person, but my gripe is about the pickup "service." Food NEVER ready at the time I picked, and once, after waiting like two hours, I was texted and/or called saying my food was ready, only it was 8 pm. When I get there, pickup was CLOSED. Why let me know it's ready when they've already closed? I sat there a LONG time and when no one came, I had to go into the store, and got a very rude manager type person. I told her she WAS going to go back to get my items, and she said "nope, not doing that." I had to go back the next day, and I was out of necessary items. She comped me, but not that much. It should have been free, as my friends said. Here I am, tried it again, again they say it will be ready by 7 or 8. OR 8? Again, if I were to go there, it would be closed. So, I'm not even going to bother. I'll get it in the morning. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. I get it, everyone, since at least the Pandemic, has been short staffed, but, don't people want to work anymore? If it's too short staffed, just stop offering it. Problem solved.
