Going to Walmart in Watertown on a Sunday is crazy busy. The worst part about this location is the fact that the chip/snack aisle is a busy aisle and yet it was placed in the one space that has a huge pillar in it so it's impossible to navigate! I would recommend moving that aisle, honestly. Other than that, I appreciate how organized the clearance aisle is at this store. read more

Man oh man... do not go to this Walmart on a Sunday. It was super packed and there were rude people everywhere. We were able to get everything we needed, but then had to wait in the checkout line forever. Also, the men's restroom was closed for cleaning for about 20 mins in the middle of the day, which seemed odd to me. read more

This Walmart was huge, which was nice because it had a wide variety of items. This place was PACKED though. There was very little room to move a cart. I rarely ever get anxious in a store or feel claustrophobic, however, this store is incredibly overwhelming. There were not many registers open. The bathroom was relatively clean, though! I had been trying to call this Walmart for 45 mins. No one answers the phone in any department but electronics. I got a hold of electronics who then transferred me to costumer service, where no one answered. That added another 15 mins onto the call. Called back to electronics to then get transferred to a manager, who then transfers me to another manager. To then nothing. read more

This is probably the cleanest and organized Walmart I've ever been to, even the customer service lady went above and beyond to get something for me when my item didn't have the price on it. went to get some Oreos earlier and they were literally NO COOKIES IN THE AISLE. soooo. gave it another chance but guess what... In all my years of living, this is the trashiest Walmart I have ever been to. So much trailer trash and dare I say, Fort Drum trash it is astounding. Everywhere you turn there are kids hanging off of carts, screaming their heads off while pregnant broods parade around the aisles, smiling and laughing as if we are supposed to think their devils for children are cute. I don't care what you do for a living, there is a standard for how you carry yourself and your family in public. You literally cannot escape this. Why do I say that? The Dangers of Shopping at Walmart I needed some groceries. So, I went to Walmart. I noticed a man pushing carts back into the store. He had no gloves on. Inside I noticed that none of the employees had masks or gloves. When I checked out, the cashier was wiping down the counter. I asked her whether Walmart provided masks or gloves. She quietly told me "no". Walmart is the largest bricks and mortar store in the United States. They rake in over $374.80 billion a year. That should be enough money to supply personal protective devices to their employees. They are risking the lives of their employees during COVID-19. People are dieing and Walmart, obviously, does not care if this happens to their employees. This is not just a health risk for the employees but for shoppers as well. If a shopper touches a cart that someone with Coronavirus has touched, they could become infected. If an employee who has been exposed, breaths on a patron, they could become infected. It doesn't matter how many times the employees wipe down the counters if they are not protected from breathing the same air as people who have the disease. Hundreds of people go through their lines everyday. Some of those people have COVID-19. Cashiers are being exposed. Then, customers are exposed to the cashiers. Everyone in the store is risking their life. Walmart is completely negligent in their approach to this deadly disease. Yes, there is a line of carts that shoppers need to go around to enter the store but this is unimportant compared to what is really needed. Granted, we only walked through the Garden Center to Automotive but the store was fairly clean, shocking for Walmart standards. I observed employees actually being helpful, even pleasant! The woman stocking the shelves in Sporting Goods was exceptionally helpful to my brother when he were looking for a marine battery---she went above and beyond. read more

I purposely tried to avoid this Walmart and go to the LeRay location instead, even if it was out of my way. This Watertown location was always packed and MESSY! There was never any assistance if you needed something on the floor and the cashiers never had enough lanes open, so I was always waiting. On top of all of this, there's a support or electrical beam in the middle of some of the grocery area. This made it difficult to move around with a shopping cart or walk past other people in the same aisle. NOT A FAN of this location AT ALL. Go to the Evans Mills/LeRay store if you can. read more

Walmart at this location is normally a very easy and great experience. But the past couple times I've gone it smells like absolute sewage near the ladies clothing section. It was so bad this last time my wife couldn't handle it and she told me we had to leave the area. Idk if there's something wrong with the plumbing or something is just not being taken care of properly but it is horrible. read more

I never have a problem with anything at the rt.3 store. If I can not find a item on the shelf, and it hasn`t been re stocked for several weeks I just order it on line, and it arrives in a couple days. The bathrooms are always clean which is a plus......employee`s have been friendly, and nice. I never use the self check out. not interested at all in that. It all depends on what time you go if it is packed with customers. Being open all nice is a plus also.... read more

I'm only giving this rating because Danielle behind customer service did her best to assist me. The assistant manager is truly a ridiculous individual. I attempted to return curtains without a receipt- Main Stay brand, which is exclusively from Walmart. They were a gift. All I wanted was a store credit so after I got the correct measurements I could come back and purchase the correct size. Because it was over 80$, she denied this and when I reminded her there is only one place these curtains could come from it was of no concern. Hello? This is why you get paid the big bucks to make decisions on behalf of the customer and organization. Obviously I'm not trying to pull one over on the prestigious Walmart corporation, the money is going right back into this horrible place. The layout of this store is very confusing other than the food section. The carts need to be replaced and the shelves are not stocked well.
