As a recently resigned employee, I noticed that other employees were particular about which…read morecustomers they were friendly with, often gossiping once customers left the store. Even when they *appear* friendly, it is purely for appearances. One of the AMs frequently talked about not being able to pass a drug test for probation. It'd be different if customers weren't at my register while she did so. Other AM's are extremely catty - often using certain tones while speaking in an antagonistic manner. One in particular realized I overheard him and the primary manager having a pro-racism conversation, and followed me outside when I walked out for fresh air. He was very open about thinking people of color "should just get over slavery". After I voiced my opinion on how disgusted I felt by what he was saying, he followed me back into the store, and found the primary manager. They immediately began gossiping, loudly, about how I'm "too liberal". All the anxiety from the chain of events caused me to feel nausea, so I left for the day and did not return. I'm nervous about posting this review, as they are persistent liars and have my address on file.
