This market is newer (still, been here for decades, I think.) Plenty of parking. Open reasonable hours (till 7 most days.) Good produce, good butcher, good bakery. Lots of interesting dry goods, much of it local and/or Amish. And, of course, their famous canned meats. Turkey, chicken, pork, beef. Low salt versions. Big cans and little ones. They'll last for years, so stock some in the cupboard, or your tornado box, or your bomb shelter. They'll can your meat, too (deer, etc.) Friendly service. Prices are pretty high, but it's quality stuff, and a lot of it you won't find anywhere else. I saw pickled quail eggs; never seen those before. Huge gummi butterflies that Baby K loves. And Hires root beer- I haven't seen that in a store in 20 years.

And the latest renovation that increased the specialty and organic foods section was a real benefit. As someone with allergies, they have the largest selection of reasonably priced specialty foods. The deli is good and fresh with an attentive staff. The veggie section is well kept, as is the meat section and most of the aisles. The store is clean- including the women's rest room- consistently. I'm sorry that apparently someone experienced it on a very bad day once. The only area I have had issue with is the dairy section lately, as you need to look at the exp. dates on yogurts, etc. Fresh milk and eggs are all good, and the beer, wine and liquor sections are surprisingly varied. I appreciate the helpful and friendly staff, and with sales and Kroger card discounts, I am able to get more for less than almost any other place- even Wallyworld! Parking can be a bear during busy times because it is a well utilized store, but there is another lot on the east side if you're willing to walk around the front of the store- not a bad walk. All in all, it is the people, prices and quality that keep me coming back here.

They also need to make sure that all aisles and walkways are clear so that customers can actually get through. I was just there and there were so many carts with products on them just left around the store to the point that customers had issues getting to where they needed to go. The laziness of management is causing the in-store experience to end up being a nightmare. I have no idea how this store is functioning, to be honest. Daytime employees are also really lazy and tend to ignore customers if and when they need help. I only ever really come to this Walmart because it's close to my house. But this is ridiculous. Get with the program and do better.

I drop off my groceries in my vehicle and grab the empty tank. I wait patiently by the other tanks waiting for someone to come and assist me. After 15 minutes (from the time printed on my receipt) I proceed to walk back to entrance and at this point a woman walks up, I explain I have been waiting for an exchange, the gentlemen was right there and sad he has called a few times now. She calls for someone and I go back out to wait... 10 minutes later another woman is out walking around and radios that there is a costumer waiting for an exchange. Then at the 35 minute mark, finally someone comes out and exchanges my tank. No sorry for the wait just "you need an exchange" I say yes, he grabs me one and says nothing more... what's really sad about this experience, this is the second time this has happened at this same Walmart. I'm not happy at all, just glad my groceries are still ok from sitting in my car for so long.
