Yelp Review - Walmart Supercenter #4355 (Taylor, AZ) I had a frustrating experience at this Walmart on June 6 around 7:30 PM while trying to purchase the Apple Pencil Pro, which was listed on Walmart.com for $99 and marked as available for pickup at this store. The item was retrieved from in-store stock and scanned, but the price didn't match the online listing. When I explained I was in the process of purchasing it through Walmart.com, a manager was called over to help. That's when the situation went downhill. The manager immediately told me I couldn't get the online price unless I used Affirm (which wasn't true), then claimed the item had a different SKU (also false--it was confirmed to be the same). She kept shifting the reasoning to block the sale without checking policy or verifying anything I was showing her. I remained calm and respectful, but she continued to talk down to me and insisted I cancel the order--even though the item was in stock and ready. I even mentioned that I needed the item for an urgent project due the next day, but she showed zero concern and kept inventing new reasons I couldn't buy it. It felt more like a power play than a customer service decision. This isn't how any store should treat someone trying to make a legitimate purchase. I hope store leadership addresses this internally--because being dismissed and misled like this, especially in a small town, is unacceptable. read more

This is my go-to store for most of my needs, I like the convenance of being able to do one stop shopping.

Walmart just made a change that will very likely cause us to stop shopping for groceries there after thirty years of doing so. They have removed self check out, or reduced the stores to only a few each. Sometimes they're open and sometimes not. You never know what it will be. We have entered the store and four self checkout lanes would be open. Once we are finished shopping they are all closed... There would be only two clerk checkout lanes will be open with long slow moving lines that seem to take forever to get through ! Not happy ! read more

Cashier was rude. Rang up entire order with several items and just left them on the counter. Then looked at me and asked do you want abag for that? (Heck no, I'll make a dozen trips to my car so I can get them all in.) read more

I'm not even really sure how they get 3.3 on their star rating as the customer at most Walmart is marginal at the best however at this one while they wrote the book on poor customer service. It is unfortunate because it's really hard to live without a Walmart, especially in this rural area. I think a little bit of investment in training and culture would go a long ways and actually probably make them more money. Common sense. read more

Newer Walmart. Clean and way less busy than the stores in town. You can get to a checkout with no problem-even though there were a few people in town. They have all the basic things that a Walmart has but it is not really a super Walmart. They didn't have the dog food that we were looking so I guess I will fight the hoards in town to get what we need. read more

Walmart Supercenter - Outside - Grocery Near Me - Taylor, Arizona

Recently purchased a home in the area. We had a moment to go and purchase a TV and a few other items. I would prefer to support the community that my home is in, or we could have brought one up from the valley. I can not express with enough words how atrocious the customer service was at this store. The 2 employees that were the worst were Randi at customer service, and Annabel (I truly probably have her name wrong) over seeing a self checkout line. Not to mention the manager/supervisor who was debating a break schedule with employees behind the customer service counter, while the line built behind me for CUSTOMER SERVICE... then turned and walked away not offering to help with the line of people. I could go in to great detail about what took place, but will spare us both the time. I will say that Randi's response and behavior was horrendous and unacceptable. I would have complained, but with the interactions I did have at this Walmart is probably an indication of how the manager/supervisor would have responded to me. It would be a waste of breath and time to have said anything. I will will do everything in my power to avoid giving this Walmart my money ever again. read more

THEY MASK SHAME!! Great store they had what I needed Unfortunately no one ...NO ONE!! Was wearing a mask. People we're starting at me for being the only one with a mask on. One of the items I needed required assistance and the woman who helped was nice. Unfortunately she said a rude remarks about me wearing a mask. The lady next to me at self checkout also needed help. I switched to Amazon after the locals made the Wal-Mart brand name synonymous with hostility. It used to be so simple: I could go in, buy my stuff, get out without a fuss but now some new outstaters moved in, with their own brand racist attitudes and are marginalizing some locals who lived here since forever. Overview of my experiences here: I was walking through the store when a Wal-mart employee - young woman - I never knew, never met, have no clue where she's from or is, just lunged at me as if to attack me. Another couple Wal-Mart employees just glared at me at times, as if to say: 'how dare you do business here.' One manager gave me the distinct impression I was being stalked. It was him, eye-balling me out of the corner as I was doing my usual store-run business. He had no business working in hospitality or customer service. He was incredibly incompetent at both. Cashiers at time looked like they'd rather be doing anything else but working the registers. I noticed this at nearly every check-out. If you're West Coast or CA, please if you see any of these guys (from AZ), just send them on their way. I have no tolerance for intolerance, and I can't tolerate intolerant people being in, near, or on my native west costal region for any length of time. They have no business breathing the rarified air of a better place with better hospitality and amenities. If there are good people in this area, in or near the store, I'm sure I just missed them. But online shopping is the thing now: no grouchy employees or cranky supervisors to make you feel uncomfortable for needing to buy a few items or for needing directions in the store. read more

The returns desk person working there didn't even try to scan the bar code for the battery return. She just fills us we could not get the warranty. When I asked if the serial number might be on the receipt she said yes so we went to look for it. It turns out that we got a full refund on a Walmart card to pay for the new battery. IF I COULD GIVE IT 0 STARS I WOULD! Yes the Taylor store is clean and nice but I had the worst experience in the self check out ever. After spending over $210 the clerk had the nerve to accuse me of stealing multiple times. I politely told her to feel free to look in my bags and compare against my receipt if she would like since she said I was not scanning items I even tried to show her and when I asked for the manger she walked away very rudely talking about myself and small children. I will never shop there again. To add normally I spend over $1,000 a month at this store but will drive to another store from now on. read more

Good store. Runs out of things like salsa and other canned goods probably related to COVID. The store is good. Staff wear masks except for the tall sullen man working in the deli. He wears his filthy mask around his neck. Touches it just enough to contaminate the meat and cheese cutter. The carts are disinfected with a chemical that smells strongly of insecticide. It makes the staff sick (first hand information). Earlier in COVID, the self check out was sanitized after each use. Not anymore. Self check out is dirty. I never see staff clean the area anymore. The customers are mixed. Fools not wearing masks. Sometimes 50% of the people in Walmart aren't wearing a mask. People who don't wear masks don't care about you. Remember that. read more

Lets hand it to Arizona for having the official first ever well organized, clean and friendly Walmart. Give them a round of applause. I was amazed by this Walmart. Its so big. Its so spacious. Its so clean! I couldn't get over the cleanliness. Everything was still organized and beautifully displayed. I have to hand it to the employees and the patrons of this Walmart. Because, if you really think of it, that relationship needs to work together. Never in my life would I think that Id be singing the praises of a Walmart. I will drive from show low to go to this Wal-Mart! The staff is friendly and highly efficient. You can tell this store operates with a team mentality and a customer first attitude. The staff of this store are extraordinarily good. The produce has been a pleasant surprise. They are open 24 hours which is convenient. The pharmacist section is excellent and quick as well. Been standing in the Customer Service line for 20 minutes, they have 1 employee up here. There is 6 people behind me, and then they brought up 2 more employees up to help, but they can only do returns. I am here to pay my Walmart bill. I cannot believe they don't have any other employees here that can do bill payments. And then to top it off, they are helping other people behind me who just walked in. They should have to wait their turn regaurless. Absolutely ridiculous!! They need to get their crap together. read more
