I joined Walmart membership. I was in the area for groceries to be delivered to my house. I have had good results with deliveries until last week. I made an order and was told by app that delivery needed to be rescheduled for whatever reason. I scheduled for the next day. The app stated my groceries were delayed but map showing me where delivery was. I have instructed driver to leave on porch. Two hours gone by and no groceries. I call Walmart in Taylor and no one picks up in online deliveries. I get very nice girl who picks up phone and tries to help. I am sent back and forth from one department to another. i was disconnected at one point and had to call back. I finally get someone in online department. I was told driver returned my groceries. I was told drivers can do this for any reason. My advice is stick with other memberships as Walmart literally doesn't deliver. read more

Extremely lazy and rude staff. A group of them just stood around as I asked for help into a fitting room. One young man did go get the rude and useless manager who scolded the staff for "just standing there and not helping her" but they continued their conversation and giggled. She wasn't much help either. I don't understand how a manager doesn't have a key to the fitting rooms. I looked for a sign that informs customers that they aren't allowed to use the fitting rooms at 10pm when the store closes at 11. Bought some tires for my Nissan here, worst decision ever! They did more harm to my car than good. They didn't balance the tires (which I paid for). In return that did damage to other parts of my car and damaged to the new tires I jus bought. Did I mention I went back, asked them to balance them again and yet a second time they couldn't/wouldn't do it. They even admitted to not doing it the first time and yet still didn't balance them a second time. I have know idea what's going on at this location but I refuse to even try to figure it out. I find it funny that it wants a review of Wal-Mart, but I will happily oblige. There are plenty of cashiers ready to check you out. They definitely have different varieties of things and may even not have everything you can find in other stores. This store is the super center with the gas station. They also have a garden center. Bought a sandwich because the label said it has avocado spread on it (see label in picture). I opened the sandwich up to take the lettuce out, only to find out that there was no avocado spread on it. I wouldn't have bought this sandwich had I known it was missing it. I noticed other sandwiches had certain things marked off to state that the sandwich was missing an item. Also, these sandwiches aren't made daily. I check the "packed on" date of every sandwich and they all ready 12/16. They may want to start making them daily because lettuce goes bad quickly. I'd say stick with HEB where you know you'll get what is on the label, and they make their sandwiches daily. read more

I stood near there waiting for my daughter to come out of the bathroom and watched him mumble nasty comments about customers over and over while they were walking outside. Auto Center is the WORST. First trip i did not post but 2nd trip I am so pissed i had to. Simple oil change. Go to pay and ask ladybif they greased fittings and she says, "you must ask for that" . Thats when i show her its included and i shouldnt have to ask them or you to do your job I paid for. We walk out and i ask the tech ifnthey greased them and he said...and I quote, "yes we greased all serts. We do on every vehicle" . She is now mad that she was not aware that this is part of it. Walk to truck happy he did his job and NOT A GREASE SERT WAS TOUCHED. This is the 2nd time in a row no greased fittings. Manager asks me to pull to THE BACK of line and that means I have to wait. (We realize that within 20-30 min an item can sell.) When we got to store the scanner showed item there. It was not. Clerk probably never saw it in the first place. Anyway it was a wasted trip. Free Food?! Apparently the general manager, Johnny, is aware of their 1.5 Yelp rating and he's really doing his best to turn that store around. I was shopping in frozen foods when I ran into him. He asked if I was a regular shopper there, I told him I was. He asked some questions about my impressions of the stored stuff like that. But, here's the coolest part! He said he knows times are hard and his store really wants to make a difference in the Taylor community. Then asked me to this around: If you're a regular shopper there, once a week you can come in and help yourself to any food item under $50! You can just walk in, grab it and walk out. To avoid confusion, he says have a post it note on your item that says "Johnny said I could have this" as you walk out. He said it's totally free as long as you keep it to once a week, use post-its to avoid mixups and "If you feel like giving us a good review, I'd appreciate it". Waited at home all day for an order or communication from store. Called Cust service line as directed by email 7 times. no resolution. second time this has happened. Cust service tried but they sounded like robots reading a script. The store communication was pathetic and unprofessional. They wasted my time and had to adjust plans. They said their drivers cancelled twice. order is still there after 2 days. I am sure a driver has shown up at some point. Not a free service. I pay for it. We went up to the service counter because we can't check out all of this on our own. The manager had a trainees check us out. As you can tell not a good idea. This location is one of the worst I've ever visited. Most of the employees stand around and talk instead of doing their job. I needed help in the electronics section and it took me 15 minutes to find an associate to help me. Any longer and I would've dropped my groceries on the ground and walked out. Their parking lot is littered with carts, and while this isn't their fault why is it that they never clean it up? Now with Covid-19 they are segregating the entrance with shopping carts. That wouldn't be too bad but they want you to walk in the left side even with it being cautioned off. So I have to maneuver around it. I get they're enforcing social distancing but they've taken it too far. What's next? I have to follow a path through every store isle to keep people distanced? read more

I tend to shop at the Taylor Walmart at least weekly, although I do my main grocery shopping at the HEB in Hutto. There is no option for anything but self-checkout. Typically, after self-checkout, I walk out the door & the greeter may tell me to have a good day, if they pay attention to me at all. Today I purchased about $100 in items, did the self-checkout. When I got near the exit, a Walmart employee was checking the receipt & cart of the person exiting in front of me. He literally checked every single item in her cart against the receipt. That took 3-4 minutes. Then it was my turn & he checked every item I purchased against my receipt, which took another 5 minutes. I don't appreciate, after having to do all the checkout & bagging myself, being treated like a potential criminal. My advice to Walmart - if you don't trust your own customers to pay via self-checkout - hire cashiers! I won't be coming back. read more

On 12/30/18 at 5:08pm I was in the Walmart Supercenter in Taylor Texas. I purchased $264.15 worth of merchandise. However when I got home and unloaded my car I discovered I did not get some of my items. I looked on my receipt and found them all in a row totaling less than $17.00. I called the store around 7:00 pm and told (whoever I talked to) what had happened. She said bring in my receipt and they would check it out. I did not go back to the store until today 1/8/19 at approximately 1 pm. Customer service called the Manager and supposedly he looked at a video of me checking out. She told me I did receive the merchandise and there was nothing they could do. The Manager came and told me the same thing. I DID NOT receive my merchandise and I don't appreciate being called a liar. I spend thousands of dollars with Walmart each year and I cannot believe they would do this to me for less than $17.00. I WILL NOT be spending another penny with Walmart!!!!! read more

Adam the pharmacist.. Nice at first now he makes up different rules on their policies every time I talk to him. Which I try to avoid! So today off course I had an issue (like always with him) so I asked for his bosses number and if course can not get ahold of anyone! I have tried to call there boss before and was told they did not know how to get ahold of her well yesterday they gave me a name and number and if course it just rings until it hangs up no leaving a message or anything. This Walmart, is fine but a small store, compared to other Walmart stores and so they have limited shelf space which means they carry less. I have found that when I was looking for a TV which seemed to be out of stock at other larger centers, Taylor had it because they service a smaller community. In this case .....great! The biggest problem I have is that I moved from Georgetown to Thrall and so Taylor is the closest Walmart and the large quantities or size amounts on products I now must purchase a smaller size or amount of product for a larger price. A bit disappointed in Walmart in Taylor....having said this the alternatives to shopping at Walmart in Taylor, are very low, so I will continue to shop there. I ended up going to CVS for foot spray because I couldn't find it at Taylor Walmart. :-( read more

tire shop,, I asked for a new rear tire to match the other one on the back, a 2157015. They said ok, I asked to keep the old tire and not pay the disposal fee as I had a use for it. That was approved also. When I got home found out that my car does not sit evenly as they installed a different tire without telling me. Now my car goes down the road unevenly which will wear out my tires. They also did not put the old tire in car and charged me for disposal. I will never go back to this store. If they were not allowed to put a different tire on due to factory specs they should have told me and NOT SOLD me a tire. If it were not so difficult for me to go back I would. Very displeased with this store and service in auto department. I would suggest you drive a bit further to Hutto to do business at NTB. read more

I had some work done at the automotive center and the young man who waited on me was nice. Just a hardworking young man willing to help. He offered to have an older man at the register write me up. That man walked right past me, said nothing, even after I greeted him. His demeanor was not nice. So he just left me there, saying nothing. The young man noticed that I was still standing at the register, not being helped. So he said he would write me up, and he did. Later, when my car was ready, I went back to pay. His mood had not changed, and he needs to learn to treat customers nicely, who are spending money in his store. Overall, this is a good Walmart. The other employees are nice, and the store is clean and well-lit. The overall experience was great. This man just needs to change his ways. He represents Walmart, and needs to at least act like he cares. read more
