Ok. Walmart is Walmart. You know what you are going to get whenever you are there. But what is with all the pallets of merchandise all over the store during busy times? It is so hard to focus and shop when you are dodging other shoppers and pallets all over the place. Then the employees act like you are in the way. Smh. We go to the Gunn Hwy location because it is closer. But I would definitely prefer driving the extra distance to the Bearrs and Nebraska location. It's a more organized store. And less hectic. Shopping tip for Gunn Hwy..... know what you are going there for. Stick to the list and get what you went for. When you linger it becomes super frustrating. In my very own opinion.

For a Walmart, this Supercenter is remarkably clean. And even though it's not the closest Walmart to my home, this store is a much more pleasant shopping experience. Plus, we can get groceries here, too. However, this store is LARGE. And checkout is not usually swift. I've recently discovered Walmart grocery pickup service & I may be obsessed now. Pickup is so easy & very quick. And pricing is exactly the same as if I went inside. So far, I've only found a few things that I have to order separately for delivery, like bleach & yoga pants. But by ordering online for pickup, I can get toilet paper, eggs, hair gel, bananas, cat food & Ibuprofen, without turning off my van. My wait today, for two separate orders, was about ten minutes. Sure beats pushing a cart & fighting crowds.

The set I was supposed to have

I went to this Walmart and for the most part happy with most of my purchases, what I'm not happy with is I bought a "Better Homes and Gardens" Bed-set that was of course the last one of the design I wanted. I finally open it up and the sheet set that was supposed to be in there is not there . I don't want to take it back since it was the last in the color I wanted. The rest of the pieces that was promised is there hence the 2 star rating. So I have 10 out of the 12 piece set. Not really happy. This has turned into a "What I asked for vs What I got" episode!

Super Walmart -- where unusual people shop in their pajamas!

Walmart is nicknamed by the members of my family as Wally World (which is not to be confused with the legendary theme park featuring Marty the Moose in Clark Griswold's "Vacation" movie series). No... in fact I have never mistaken Walmart for a fun park, though I have seen a few people roaming the aisles who could have been mistaken for moose. (Quick, call the Alaskan Wildlife Rangers!) This is a Super Walmart meaning that it is open 24 hours, and features a full grocery store along with all of the other housewares, electronics, health & beauty, sporting goods, clothing, hardware, automotive, pet supplies, and furniture items inside of this megalithic retail establishment. You'll find this store at the intersection of Gunn Highway and Henderson Road in the middle of Carrollwood. I personally prefer shopping at Target over Walmart, but since I was only planning to buy a few items I figured that I could zip in and out of Walmart without a lot of hassle. I found the trash bags, paper towels, laundry detergent, razor blades, and bar soap on my shopping list, and then pushed my shopping cart towards the front of the store to start the check-out process. This would be where the sea of humanity raced through the front doors of the store, still dressed in their pajamas and spandex. They were clearly planning to make a day out of roaming the aisleways while stopping to talk to everyone else, and letting their little heathen children run screaming through the store. Let's just say that I encountered some fascinating individuals while attempting to check out, and that quickly reminded me why I don't make a habit out of shopping here. Sure the prices are low, but there's a certain level of human dignity which is lacking at this "fun park". No thanks, I'll go back to Target next time.

They should have more stuff. I know it's a bad reason for one star but they barely have anything.

It's hard to find parking here although I'm giving 5 stars because the employees are always really nice and helpful.

I told them I already did that and there's not one back there. Apparently, they did not believe me. I asked about a manager and they said it'll take her a while to come up here, but she's gonna do the same exact thing. I told them to forget the shoes And I'll go elsewhere! Another time I went to fill up my Angel bottle and the lady didn't fill it up all the way, but charged me full price. This used to be my go to store but it's changed too much for me. I don't recommend them.

It really bothers me to post this review…read more.. This past Friday evening, unfortunately, I had the WORST shopping experience I've ever had while picking up an online order at Macys Westfields (Citrus Park). While there I decided to do some additional Xmas decor shopping. I took extra time looking for multiples of each type I selected and had to take extra care as the ornaments were glass/fragile. I would from time to time feel someone looking my way and would glance up and notice multiple "customers" glancing/watching me and following me around the store. I have to mention there were other customers there also shopping for decor - but no one that looked like me... Then a cashier that worked in the Men's Department (a good distance away)came over to the Decor section to ask me if "I needed some help." Already feeling very uncomfortable, I was ready to go. I followed her all the way over to the Men's Dept. I asked her if she had the appropriate paper to wrap the ornaments, although she mentioned that she would go over to customer service to get the right wrapping, she and the other cashier with her found a few sheets of used tissue paper under the counter to wrap over $100.00 worth of glass/fragile ornaments and stuffed them all in one regular bag, not a box as they usually do!! I was pissed!! Before leaving, I remembered that I needed to stop by the perfume section to smell a certain fragrance I purchased online. Then a cashier, that did not look like me and was not assisting me came right into my personal space and started straightening up/arranging the perfume bottles and picking up the fragrance tester cards around me that Bella (cashier), was helping me with. Both Bella and I looked at her and she looked at me & Bella and apologized... Then Bella went to get a fragrance she wanted me to try and I asked her if I could try these perfumes on the tray right in front of me and she said of course! I tried one or two of them and something told me to take one full step away from the counter and when I did, I saw at least one other "customer" watching me as our eyes met, he almost knocked perfume boxes off the table watching me!! I decided not to buy anything from there! I was sooooo angry and frustrated!! I had to stop by Customer Service on the way out the door as the very nice cashier that helped me initially with my on-line order asked me to stop back by Customer Service to ensure I received the current discounted price... When I next in line, a guy walks out of the back customer service area to take care of me only... He didn't look like a regular cashier based on how he was dressed and he had a beret/hat on his head - more like security... He checked my receipt and some of the items in the box. I indicated that the cashier that helped me with my pick up order, recommended that I double check the items I ordered online to ensure I received the current/best discounted price. To add insult to injury - he appeared to be giving the items extra scrutiny... I was so angry by the time I walked out of there, I called my best friend in another state to tell her what happened! If it hadn't been so late in the evening and all that Friday traffic, I would have turned around and RETURNED IT ALL and am still planning to!! There were other customers there that didn't look like me and did not get the type of attention I did during my SHOPPING WHILE BLACK experience... As a 60+ retired military, disabled veteran with over 40 total years of service to my country, I refuse to spend my hard earned money where I am not respected and am what appears to be racially profiled - especially in times like these!! I have been a dedicated and frequent/recurring customer for decades!!! I'm so disappointed in Macys Westfields, Citrus Plaza Mall. So disappointed...

Now listen, when it comes to my hair, I don't just let anybody touch it. So yes, I was a little nervous. But let me tell y'all about Sully the Barber. I met her through Tampa Bay Women's Inferno, and once I actually looked into her work, I realized she is that girl. Years in the game, awards, her own haircare line--I said yeah, let's do this. I went in thinking we were just shaping up the afro, and she said "let me give you the full experience." Baby... she did not disappoint. I told her, "you got free will--just make me feel as good as I try to make everybody else feel." And when I say she delivered?? Look at these curls. Look at this shape. The V in the back?? The definition?? I'm beyond pleased. She really took her time and brought my vision to life without me even having to explain it all the way. This wasn't just a haircut. This was confidence. This was self-love. This was me stepping back into myself and feeling good doing it. Tell me I don't look good This is just how life goes.
