They could improve on everything! I went in there yesterday and there was a pair of shoes, but they didn't have any price and also there were none like it left so when I went to pay three separate store clerks said they would go and look if they could find another pair. I told them I already did that and there's not one back there. Apparently, they did not believe me. I asked about a manager and they said it'll take her a while to come up here, but she's gonna do the same exact thing. I told them to forget the shoes And I'll go elsewhere! Another time I went to fill up my Angel bottle and the lady didn't fill it up all the way, but charged me full price. This used to be my go to store but it's changed too much for me. It really bothers me to post this review... This past Friday evening, unfortunately, I had the WORST shopping experience I've ever had while picking up an online order at Macys Westfields (Citrus Park). While there I decided to do some additional Xmas decor shopping. I took extra time looking for multiples of each type I selected and had to take extra care as the ornaments were glass/fragile. I would from time to time feel someone looking my way and would glance up and notice multiple "customers" glancing/watching me and following me around the store. I have to mention there were other customers there also shopping for decor - but no one that looked like me... Then a cashier that worked in the Men's Department (a good distance away)came over to the Decor section to ask me if "I needed some help." Already feeling very uncomfortable, I was ready to go. I followed her all the way over to the Men's Dept. I asked her if she had the appropriate paper to wrap the ornaments, although she mentioned that she would go over to customer service to get the right wrapping, she and the other cashier with her found a few sheets of used tissue paper under the counter to wrap over $100.00 worth of glass/fragile ornaments and stuffed them all in one regular bag, not a box as they usually do!! I was pissed!! Before leaving, I remembered that I needed to stop by the perfume section to smell a certain fragrance I purchased online. Then a cashier, that did not look like me and was not assisting me came right into my personal space and started straightening up/arranging the perfume bottles and picking up the fragrance tester cards around me that Bella (cashier), was helping me with. Both Bella and I looked at her and she looked at me & Bella and apologized... Then Bella went to get a fragrance she wanted me to try and I asked her if I could try these perfumes on the tray right in front of me and she said of course! I tried one or two of them and something told me to take one full step away from the counter and when I did, I saw at least one other "customer" watching me as our eyes met, he almost knocked perfume boxes off the table watching me!! I decided not to buy anything from there! I was sooooo angry and frustrated!! I had to stop by Customer Service on the way out the door as the very nice cashier that helped me initially with my on-line order asked me to stop back by Customer Service to ensure I received the current discounted price... When I next in line, a guy walks out of the back customer service area to take care of me only... He didn't look like a regular cashier based on how he was dressed and he had a beret/hat on his head - more like security... He checked my receipt and some of the items in the box. I indicated that the cashier that helped me with my pick up order, recommended that I double check the items I ordered online to ensure I received the current/best discounted price. To add insult to injury - he appeared to be giving the items extra scrutiny... I was so angry by the time I walked out of there, I called my best friend in another state to tell her what happened! If it hadn't been so late in the evening and all that Friday traffic, I would have turned around and RETURNED IT ALL and am still planning to!! There were other customers there that didn't look like me and did not get the type of attention I did during my SHOPPING WHILE BLACK experience... As a 60+ retired military, disabled veteran with over 40 total years of service to my country, I refuse to spend my hard earned money where I am not respected and am what appears to be racially profiled - especially in times like these!! I hate say it but Macy's today is not the same as yesteryear. They don't have adequate sales staff and the managers just don't hold mustard. I think I just sounded like my grand father. But if you can get a great price break it might be worth it. Hell, I got buy one get one free bed comforter and sheets for a great price. I was happy at the buy one get price. Now did a need another? No! But I have a different style and color for summer and winter now. So long story short. No I don't ever want to go there but if the deals are so great I just might. read more

Stop playing non stop Spanish music full blast. Not sure who is managing this store but they must not like American singers. When I travel to Puerto Rico I love this vibe. We are on the mainland. This is an average Macy's, on par with the rest of the department stores in the Citrus Park mall, really. Okay, maybe it's a little better than Sears. The layout is standard and predictable, particularly the annoying display tables that jut out into the walking spaces and make you sidewind your way through the store. There is always parking on the Macy's side of the mall, which is convenient for me, since that's the direction I enter from. Even if I need to go to a store on the opposite side of the mall, I always park at Macy's, just to get the extra steps in! One good experience I had here was for a Xmas present return. They put a sticker on the bottom of the box at the time of purchase that the cashier could easily scan in lieu of a receipt upon the gift being returned. I then got a gift card for the return amount. Very quick experience! I also bought a sheet set online for in-store pickup ($100 off!). To my surprise, I received a "your order is ready for pickup" email the same day. Finding the right checkout counter took a minute, even though I knew I was looking for one in the men's department, per the email. The cashiers were friendly, and mine was quick to get my order from the back and check me out. I'd definitely do in-store pickup here again. read more

I wish every Macy's was like this location! I visited the mall during a weekday afternoon and there was prime parking available near the entry of the store. I Imagined myself to be a VIP as the store was practically empty, I guess they closed the store for me and my partner to shop by ourselves :D We were able to locate the clothing item we need within a matter of minutes. While making a purchase I was ask to sign up for a Macy's American Express so I did as the clerk told me I could pick a day within the next month for 20% off of everything. Went back 2 weeks later, purchased a lot of stuff and told a different clerk about the 20% off and she told me it would be on my statement. It wasn't. After many emails and phone calls, nobody cared and the customer service, who is in the Philippines just doesn't care nor will they have a supervisor call you back. I canceled the card and paid it off. Very poor for a large company who is trying to stay in business. read more

I love Macy's, it is my favorite store. However, today their service was just bad. There was a lack of to be honest. This Macy's is always clean, and organized but when it comes to finding a person that is willing to provide great customer service is really hard. I waited over 10 minutes for the cashier to finish with a client because there was no one else around to help. I did some walking and when I found another associate, she was too busy organizing merchandise and she just said "you got to go see if we have it in the luggage area". Didn't take the time to walk with me, or show me options or nothing. Let's be honest, when do you really need help in Macy's? Usually people go and know what they want, but it is always nice to find that one person who still provides great customer service and is willing to go above and beyond for the customer when you are shopping for something new or need advice. read more

I will confess that I am not the world's greatest shopper. I generally go to the mall looking for one particular item, and I usually know where I can find what I want. Then it is just a matter of checking to see if they have it in my size and preferred color, and paying for my merchandise and strolling out the door. Sorry, but I'm not one to wander up and down the aisles feeling the textures of each piece of clothing, and then ooo'ing and ahh'ing over the displays. Nope, sorry......that's not my style. That being said, I really enjoy shopping at Macy's, and this particular store at the Citrus Park Mall is my favorite in the Tampa Bay area. More often than not I can find what I want, and the sales people are very helpful and friendly. They'll look through the stacks to find an item, and even offer to call other stores to have something shipped to me if they don't have it in stock. The salespeople in the Menswear section have been terrific, suggesting business casual outfits which are practical and travel-friendly. Granted, my girlfriend can spend the entire day at Macy's and leave with armfuls of packages and a big smile on her face. Me....... After a long evening of searching for a sport coat throughout the mall, Macy's was the last spot I wanted to check before calling it a night. I wear a sport coat maybe twice a year, so I don't need anything fancy, nor do I want to spend a lot of money on one. I first checked out the clearance section just to see what was there and I got really lucky. I found a Calvin Klein piece that fit me almost perfectly that I really liked that was originally over $600. It was marked down to under $90 and I was ready to pull the trigger on it. The sleeves were a tad long and needed to be hemmed, so I asked a sales associate if they did alterations there and he literally didn't know what I was talking about. He had no idea what alterations were. You work in a clothing department store and don't know what that is. I wasn't even mad with his answer, I just laughed at the stupidity. I found another sales associate and he told me that they don't do them onsite, but the Westshore location did. I ended up just buying it anyway and getting it altered elsewhere as the other location couldn't guarantee that they could finish by the time I needed it. Macy's has a very large selection of clothing featuring numerous brands and while the store is neat and somewhat organized, I just get that cluttered feeling inside of it. It's uncomfortable as the racks are very close together. To me, Macy's isn't the first place I will go to if I need some sort of apparel item that they carry, but it's not the last. read more

I have officially been hung up on 3 times by two different departments. 2 women working at 12:45 "back stage" 1man in the mens department at 12:30 today. Also no one in childrens ever answers the phone. All I wanted to know is if they had something in stock and was going to be a quick in and out of about $200. Lost my business completely. No one would ever answer and if they did they would hang up on me, or put me on hold and then hang up on me. Half of your staff should be FIRED. read more

The sales associate started helping another associate figure out where to put merchandise before helping me. She then treated me poorly and was barely listening to me when I was answering. Macy's used to be my go to store for all my clothing needs. I stopped shopping here when the prices became unrealistic but decided to browse once again. I happily found some good deals and lots of sales going on. Lots of clearance items and enough inventory to please anyone. Plenty of fitting rooms and left stocked with some new duds that didn't break the bank. read more

Customer service is very subpar at this location, I was exchanging some shirts that I had received as a Fathers day gift and the cashier basically said that I could not return nor exchange the shirts without the receipt. I informed her that store policy is that I can exchange without the receipt, according to Macy's website. She still refused my exchange even though all the shirts were new with tags. I promptly asked for the manager who did the exchange without question. The cashier who was wrong stood there huffing and puffing and smacking her lips, she never apologized of nothing, just a very rude young lady. read more

This Macy's is subpar. Shoe department is small not many selections same with most of the other departments actually. The women's has no Rachel Roy and the Kensie selection is small. The make up area is not great either they don't even have a Mac or the impulse make up section that is Macy's answer to Sephora. Very blah experience to come here. On Saturday, April 15th, my husband and I went to the Macy's at Citrus Park Mall. My husband asked the sales associate, Grace, if there was a place for him to sit down. She pointed to a group of chairs near a fitting room in the next department. I then told her what I was looking for and she immediately pulled up similar items on the computer. I found the item and she directed me to the department so I could find it. I found the item I was looking for and without her help I would have never looked there. I am so grateful to her for finding this item for me. I have been in other stores, and the sales people don't even try to do anything for you. They just don't seem to care. I got someone else's order plus my order and in trying to return the other person's order, it is taking them a long time to pick it up. I live in Tampa, the package had y name and address on it but the inside receipt had someone else's name in VA on it. The person I called in customer service that has the number on the receipt acted ugly. I was concerned about the person maybe ordered the dress for a wedding or something special.
