Got no idea what it's like to go in to shop here because I have been a committed curbside pickup customer since 2020 and I doubt I will ever go back to going in to shop. Signed up for Walmart+ and the free shipping and Paramount+ are just icing on the cake. What I can't get from this store can usually be found available for shipping (free) that usually arrives in 3 days or less. Using the app to shop is so easy and they keep improving the app. Shopping with the app also cuts down on my impulse buying as well. The curbside pickup process is a well oiled machine these days. Check in on the app when you park in the curbside pickup area and they will be out pretty quick and load everything in your vehicle. Friendly service with a smile is the norm. read more

Curbside pick-up needs a lesson in customer service. Or at the very least the people who pick up their phones. It began like this. I placed an order on the Walmart app for curbside pick-up. I've done this dozens of times and have never had any issues until now. I show up at Walmart and check in on the app. Cue 10-15 minutes later and crickets. I call the sign they have posted, figuring they're busy. As soon as I call and speak to the most apathetic man of life, the guy is coming to drop off my order. Yay! Except you know - stupid me forgot to check it. I remembered while still in the parking lot and it turns out they gave me substitutions that I did not want. I call the curbside pick-up number again. I wind up speaking to a young girl who was even more apathetic than the man I spoke to beforehand. To say she did not care is mild. I told her I wanted my items substituted or canceled given the fact that they messed up. She tells me I have to speak to customer service. Really? They say they don't handle anything once a customer has an order. I ask to be transferred to customer service then and she doesn't even do that. Incompetent, unprofessional, and somewhat infuriating, I hung up. Not my typical reaction and I wound up keeping the substitutions for my partner. It was just one of those days that things just built up and the lack of service did not help. At least the substitutions were minor. Still, what does a girl have to do here to get decent service? Only reason I don't rate it as one stars is because I know inevitably I'll return. Ugh. read more

Better than most on this Friday evening, I stopped in to grab a few cases of the water I like and some snacks for the hotel room. Some out of stocks on some items but they had enough of what I needed to be decent. The store was busy but tidy. This Walmart is a decent representation of what a Super Walmart should be. Good sized, well stocked, customer service is a bit weak, you know, a typical Walmart. Also, like a Walmart, there is a lot of parking. I have been here multiple times and parking has never been an issue. The inside has the usual items for a Super Walmart. Whatever you need, you will find it here and for a relatively good prize. All in all, I would give it a recommendation if you need a quick something and you are by it. Convenience is a huge selling point for this establishment. You can get in and out, find parking and find what you need. What more can you ask for. read more

Very disappointed in the customer service here. There was a large display of clearance items in the grocery department. Clearly the sign indicates that the pretzel snacked are $2.98. Of course they are not marked with a sticker price. At the register they rang at $5.94. When I pointed out that one could clearly see the sign directly above the snacks the manager said the best she would do is a dollar off. What?! This is so wrong on so many levels. Absolute worst experience at a customer service counter. Reminds me why I do not go to Walmart. Saw item on Walmart's website online for $17 and available in store. Went to store, and it was $50. Went to customer service counter (waited in line 15 minutes) and lady had to check with front end manager, came back and said oh... we do not honor those prices (for their own website) you have to buy it online then come back and pick it up when it is ready. Seriously??? I'd rather pay $100 and deal with people and companies that operate with a little common sense. read more

This is your typical Walmart Supercenter. There is not many shopping opportunities in this section of Tallahassee if you are on a budget. This Walmart is always busy. Over the week I spent in Tallahassee, the parking lot here was full every time I visited, Walmart is pretty self-explanatory. You know what you are getting going in. On this visit I was doing some Christmas shopping. I found a Black and Decker coffee pot for my parents under $50, which was nice. They really liked it. I also mainly purchase firearms ammunition here. Their price for 100 rounds of Federal Ammunition, 9mm, is unbeatable. 100 rounds of reliable ammunition for under 25 dollars is too good to pass up. Otherwise, I don't do much shopping here. One thing I will say that is outstanding at this store is the customer service. Every department I went into, someone asked me if I needed anything or just said hello and asked how I was doing. read more

This store is pretty common everywhere. I' live between two store and cleanliness and the lack of students that shop here keep me coming to this location. Although I avoid Walmarts as a whole if I can help it. I ordered something online and decided to the the "Site to Store". Site to store experience was lacking. Very few employees around to ad customers find items or direct them. And the Site to Store area was located in the back of the store instead of Customer Service in the front of the store. Later emailed surveys provided proved that this was to encourage customers to roam the store to purchase other items. (Shrug) read more

This is one of the junkiest Walmart's I have ever shopped at, dirty,cramped with some of the staff particularly unfriendly. I live closer to this Walmart but travel farther to go to a different one on Tennessee St., that is cleaner, less cramped, with plenty of parking and nicer staff. I don't understand why Walmart lets some of its stores go into such states of mess or why they are so often out of stock on so many products . read more

We were recently visiting Tallahassee on vacation and we encountered the two rudest people on our trip at Walmart store #4427. 1 was a sales associate and the other was an older lady working the cash register area. I know this doesn't represent the city or the Tallahassee area. You can't work in customer services and hate people. Visiting Tallahassee on a cold evening, I stopped in for tights for my oldest daughter and bathing suits for my three kids. Parking was typical of Walmart - search, search and continue searching. Walking into this Walmart, I couldn't help but to notice the painted and unkempt floors. Overall, the store had an old and dirty look. This visit was my first to this particular location. My wife - who waited in the car with the kids - advised that the store was previously a Sam's Club. Asking for help from an employee, I was directed to the kids section to buy tights while being advised they didn't sell bathing suits. The African American worker - without a name tag - was polite and helpful. Store was not busy and I didn't wait that long for a cashier. Unlike most Walmart locations, this store did have enough cashiers. A quick visit to the bathroom made me happy that I only needed to do number 1 versus number 2. The bathrooms were dirty and the toilet lids were soiled. My two-star rating may be harsh, but this Walmart was dirty and rundown. While you can excuse age, you cannot excuse cleanliness. Probably one of the best walmart in the area. Feels like a completely different store than the disaster that is the West Tennessee store. They had a variety of pet products and other stuff. Seems like they have a little bit of everything. Checkout took 10 minutes which is fast compared to West Tennessee Walmart which takes 30 mintues. Tons of cashiers open at peak hours. Yay. Although the concept works as a critique of late capitalism, this is the worst nightclub I've ever been to. Harsh lighting, low-volume elevator music, no bartender in sight. Had to serve myself a beer from an unopened twelve pack. Strange decor as well: mounds of fruit, aisles of canned goods & miscellaneous items, huge cooler racks along the wall with semi-realistic packages of beef, chicken, and what I assume was supposed to be pork. None of the patrons, however, seemed to want to dance, so I left without waiting for the check. read more

Went in to do grocery shopping and picked up some water knowing I had back problems. I knew I couldn't put it in my car, so the cashier arranged for this nice gentleman who retrieves the carts from the parking lot name Devian. He helped me put not only the water, but the rest of my groceries as well. This was a great help under my circumstances. I appreciate him so much for going above and beyond! read more

I have been purchasing peaches at Monroe St. Wal-Mart this past summer and up UNTIL about 4-6 weeks ago when suddenly they have been TERRIBLE !!!! Hard as a rock when purchased (not unusual), But they NEVER Rippen...just turn really and brown. Have tried many ways to reopen them, Just won't happen. The only good thing about this Walmart is the self check out. If you have coupons, expect to wait forever while the cashier finds a manager to verify it's a coupon. I also picked up some fried chicken and Mac and cheese from the deli, it was disgusting. Worst fried chicken I've ever had. The kicker is that it was located about a mile from the hotel I have been staying at. I have been going across town to one that I pasted while at work. It was really nasty. Go figure. read more

I needed to get some slides, flip flops and to my surprise they had close to none in stock. Definitely disappointed especially with them having many selections for the men's area. There could definitely of good use to increase in size or stay stocked up on items. More lighting in parking lot would be nice. read more

My wife and I come to the Walmart all the time because we live so close. The downside is that this is a smaller store so the stock can get pretty slim and for this we call it Smallmart...lol It works for us though! read more

I never want to give my money to Walmart again literally just because of this one rude ass experience that left the worst taste in my mouth. I am already at Target and they do not have the Keurig that I want, so I call Walmart to ask if they have it. Some stupid guy who is either unprepared to answer phone calls or just dumb answers the phone & I ask if they carry Keurigs and some girl from a distance says yes so I ask if they can go check if they have the specific one i want since I ALREADY MADE THE TRIP TO TARGET & was avoiding spending another 20 minutes of gas to Walmart if they don't have it. The girl who i can barely hear answers no so i ask why not why cant they just go to the aisle for 2 seconds and check. she says she can't. i say why not. she asks if i was close which should not change whether or not she is allowed to go check the aisle but whatever. so i begin to explain to her that i'm trying to avoid a trip if they don't have it & in the middle of that they hang up on me! so rude & i'm left without my Kuerig still. read more
