First time at this location. Clean, lots of associates available to help. The cashier was very helpful kind and considerate with each of the people checking out. The cashier especially helped an elderly woman it was nice to see people helping people. They had lots of registers open as well. Very well stocked, I came for storage containers and they had them. They went back, held up a self service check up line and then came back and said that someone made a mistake on their fault and put the sticker in the wrong spot Causing a 17 minute delay for self check out by not having the tags in the right place. I am updating my review in the pharmacy and store today. First thing is my brain is a bit overwhelmed in this Jetson era of all digital possibilities to live! Today I was awaken with those Robots calling me about a prescription. Oh no! Not Walmart too! They already alert me with the App, Email, and Text! Ok that is a bit much! We got it Walmart. But today I was not feeling my best. And the day before, I went to pick up prescriptions and I swore I stood there forever. It was not busy and one lady served another customer and saw me standing there and ignored me. This forced me stand there longer as she rummaged through some items. I have to give kudos to the lady at the next window because she was in the middle of a phone call. She gave me a gesture and I nodded. That wait was very exhausting! I guess the welcome mat was pulled under me. This was not a good experience. I am learning through these experiences here at this Walmart. I definitely prefer shopping online better than coming in the store. Sometimes I do think online shoppers may need to go in from time to time to the actual store if a common item is often marked as unavailable. I did a walk through and found some of my things that I request are not actually unavailable. It could be that your personal shopper may not be able to locate it and they are expected to have your orders ready for delivery. So their times are limited and that may mean an item may be marked unavailable if they do not find it in time. So I am learning a lot being a customer. I found some over the counter items that I need are often right there by the pharmacy. Pharmacy is hidden from grocery area. It is a long walk and you will definitely put in a cardio workout in this store. This store is definitely in high security. There are barriers that open but alarms will sound. The greeters are loss prevention and expect you to present receipts when leaving out of the store. I would also recommend keeping receipts from pharmacy too. I will update my review again. read more

I actually love this Walmart but the employees take their jobs way too serious. Prices here can be different from what you see online or even at other Walmart locations. If you're hoping for a good parking spot near the door, forget about it because the employees take those for themselves. They're big on checking receipts, both at checkout and again at the door, which feels a little over the top. And don't even try returning electronics unless you want to go on a whole mission. They'll send you all the way to the back just to have someone look at it instead of just training the front-end staff to handle it. Also bring your own bags because they never have any. One of the closest Walmart in my Tita's area. I've noticed a lot of 1 or 2 stars in this location mostly saying customer service sucks. Only here once so I cannot really tell the difference. We just came here for some movie snacks and for my body wash and so far it went well. Customer service base on my experience is just okay. They're not rude but not the friendliest either. Also, it's a pretty big Walmart compare to the ones we got in Oahu Hawaii and I appreciate the selection on their beauty supplies. They got Hawaiian goodies here too which I think really sweet knowing that lots of Hawaiians moved here. That's all really, nothing much to say about this store. see them profiling their customers all the time. the manager doesnt have any dignity or repsect for their employees or their customers how do they expect to get some buiness. you always see them neglecting customers asking for help. someone asks for help and someone says they will help but they run off and continue what thyre doing. im not surprised this walmart hasn't shut down from how the private security is even outside harassing people who park there waiting on family members to come out from grocery shopping or other reasons. Tonight's night shift manager is a rude lady. I called 9 times before someone picked up . I was charged 34 times for 4 items , meanwhile two workers were talking to each other about the customers as I was being checked out that alone is disrespectful. The girl behind Lana my cashier was trying hard to get Lana's attention as she spoke rudely about a customer's dog , she is black and she had brown hair in a bun. She said 3x the dog looks neglected at some point she then rang up my cucumbers I had 4 not 34 and she proceeded to talk to her friend . I repeated what the girl said to Lana and the girl behind her continued to talk look Lana my line is past appearal again her focus should be on what shes doing infront of her not how long her line is complaining about it as if the customers dont hear. Now when I called I was lied to I was told the manger is not there then the night staff proceeded to laugh and Im sure it was a uneducated night staff no manger would speak to a customer how she did. I said my complaining and she asked me if I was done I said excuse me she is a dig who doesn't deserve her job not a single one of the woman im complaining about deserve their job. I wanted to buy fingernail clippers. They are hidden away in cosmetics and behind some security lock and finding an associate to help is impossible. Locking up your items isn't going to deter theft. If I was going to steal it, I would have just ripped it off. I did not do that because I am honest and wanted to buy it. If you wish to lose your patience alongside a large quantity of valuable brain cells and possibly liquid life aka blood cells all while traveling within a 12,451 mile radius from your current location all in the name to shop at the worlds worst Walmart that generates the dense personal connection of purchasing goods in the back alley of a dark 711 after the streets cleared an hour after the surrounding lights ignited, that would have signaled you to go home as a child,.., then this is absolutely the Walmart for you. The managers have less "patients" than the quack doctors posted up against the building shooting up and dealing in front of the security guards and police. Half of the items didn't have price tags, the security system is malfunctioning causing individuals to be stop for a requested search while it randomly goes off from the electromagnetic fields generated by your body with varying frequencies based upon your clothes, Personal Electronic Devices and magnets which some people carry on person for their child's entertainment. I would bet an entire paycheck that management at this Walmart hands down are the true Scrooge's all year round. I base this fact upon first hand knowledge that EVERY employee IN UNIFORM whom I asked for assistance to, which would include pointing me to someone "On-The-Clock" snapped back faster than a switch pulled from the busch in the most southern east parts of America just to be delivered to an angrily disappointed parent that never left the small town you grew up in. Every employee... cough cough,... all 6 snapped back with "I'm on my break" with one employee closing an entire line full of customers at the customer service counter the moment time struck a nano second past 16:30 and no replacement or direction to the customers kicking rocks and playing with pocket lint after waiting in line for 30+ minutes. What I'm more upset at is the bigger issue that upper management will miss and that is the obvious poor personnel management, horrendous facility management, and their laughable inventory management. It all snowballs downhill and effects the employees whom taint the customer experience which just happens to match well with the physical environment located immediately around this Walmart. If you dare to travel to this location keep your cash at home, have a conceal carry, hide your kids and hide your "spouse", bring a few boots for your vehicle, siphon the gas and wear nothing over $10 and sit back and enjoy the new season of "Where's Waldo?" The only thing this Walmart really has going for it is being THE prime example of what not to be for success. read more

The worse part is it be your own people, two older black ladies stood by me and daughter who is currently over due, They counted our items and only watched us. I have been having my groceries delivered each week -around $100/week until today when Ana their driver said she delivered my groceries but did not. Tried to pick it up but there were no pick up (numbered) parking spots available, and was told it was a 2 hour wait. I selected one star because there isn't a lower rating. This morning I received a goofed delivery of groceries on my doorstep, probably from one of my neighbors. I tried to do the right thing by calling in to the nearest Walmart but they don't answer their phones. When I finally got an answer, they took my address and put me on hold for fifteen minutes. When they finally picked up again, it was another employee who immediately hung up on me. I took the groceries in and put the cold stuff in the fridge when the actual customer showed up in his car and we loaded the groceries into his car. I'm not sure if it's the fault of Walmart as a whole or of this particular store; however, I'd just like to say that the grocery delivery service that's offered by this store is a complete and utter joke. (Walmart Plus pretty much is, too, at this point.) Basically, if you place an order -- then expected it to be delayed (sometimes clear into the next day) with minimal to nonexistent communication about when you'll *actually* receive your groceries. This has become the rule rather than the exception. I've lost count of how many times that I've had to contact customer service -- and, no, not to complain and demand to speak to the manager, but simply to try to find out when my items will arrive since all the website/app will say is "Preparing" (up until it's officially late, and then at that point they change it to "Delayed - Please Check Back for Updates". No estimated time of arrival, no tracking, not even a reason for the delay. Although I've learned from my "friends" at customer service that most of the time it's due to not having any drivers available. Fine, but -- why even offer a delivery time slot if you can't guarantee that anybody will deliver? Anyhow, DoorDash *might* bear some responsibility here because I'm pretty sure that Walmart uses DoorDash drivers; however, I'm pretty sure that Safeway also does. And while far from perfect, at least Safeway still manages to more or less deliver an order on time). The only reason that I haven't given up on using the delivery "service" (such as it is) entirely is that every time that I inquire about an order, they throw promo codes at me. So I'm constantly getting $10 off codes for this delay, or $20 off for that one. I never ask for these codes but I figure that I might as well use them (I mean, I do have to pay a 4-digit rent on a part-time salary -- which is the only other reason that I shop at Walmart) -- even though I'd 100% honestly rather just have my groceries delivered. Or at the very least, know when they WILL be delivered. By the way, while I'm more familiar with the delivery service and Walmart Plus, I've been inside this actual store a few times and...well, it's better than the horrible delivery service attached to/associated with it, I guess. But not enough for me to even "upgrade" my rating to two stars. I MIGHT say one-and-a-half, if it was an option (and I was feeling generous). read more

Great on time great on help I barely had to do anything they took care of everything even offered me a protection plan that I graciously excepted. Terrible customer service. I was getting some stuff for a last minute sewing project and went in about 10:00 pm. When I got to the sewing aisle the lady working that section gave me a very rude look like I was bugging her by being there. When I asked for some help with fabric she snapped "We don't get trained on the fabrics and you need to hurry up we are closing". Mind you this was a whole hour before they close. I'd never been to this Walmart and I don't shop their often. A simple "sorry, no, but they re open at ____" would've been the appropriate answer. It was in a new package. He was making a custom ordered item. He opened the new package. You want to know what he found? SOMEONE HAD PREVIOUSLY BOUGHT THIS, CUT OFF WHAT THEY WANTED, TAPED IT SHUT TO LOOK LIKE A ROLL AND RETURNED IT TO WALMART. WALMART PUT IT IN A NEW PACKAGE AND PUT IT BACK ON THE SHELF AND SOLD IT AS A NEW ITEM FOR FULL PRICE. The tint film is cut up, partial, and all wrinkled. This is a time sensitive project so he doesn't even have time to go back to this Walmart and return it for a new product like he should have gotten when he first paid for it. Jaleh was the most rude cashier I have ever came across. I was in today around 4pm 09/09/18 and by the time I got to the checkout, the cashier switched over to Jaleh. She took over 5 minutes setting up her station with a fan to blow air to her!! Not even exaggerating how long it took. The whole line was visibly frustrated. I asked if she could start on my items because I'm in a hurry (in a polite way), when she gave me a massive attitude!! She actually crossed her arms and did nothing. I asked for a manager, she said "go find her yourself". So I asked another employee for the manager, ONLY THEN JALEH started to scan my items AGGRESSIVELY. I used to love shopping at Walmart up until I moved to Tacoma because you never really know what to expect when you visit this establishment. Granted, they do have good deals. On our most recent excursion, we purchased camping chairs and a tent which was a steal compared to other establishments we visited. I think what bothers me the most is the customers that shop here. There are just some things you should keep to yourself, or at home. Do you really need to wear a crown while you are shopping? Are you aware that I can see your underwear through your leggings? Do you need to yell to your spouse/gf 'why the f*ck didn't you tell me?' Really?! We all know that Walmart has a million registers (I'm kidding, I counted at least 20) but often times, only 4 or 5 are open. I now know what it feels like to give this Walmart a 1 star review. As of yesterday, I am going down to 1 star. For this purpose, I waited over 20 minutes for these employees to track down a package that I ordered online, that was available for pick up immediately. I go in, they look it up, bring over 3-4 employees to find a package that doesn't exist (out of stock) even though the site said available. After being fed-up, I say I will come back tomorrow to check on the status. I had a long day at school, come to check on it... and wait another 20-30 mins just to tell me.... they don't have it but can sell me the one on display. Uh, no thanks. They say there is "one" more left in Lakewood, yea... I am not going to take my chances. I got so fed up! The site to store area is right next to the entrance and guess what... it is what? 20 degrees?! Just to stand in front of the ice cold wind, I waited 20+ mins. Just awesome.
