They answer the phones like they don't like their jobs, as if they have an attitude that you even would even call them while they're trying to fill prescriptions, and have the audacity to act like you are the problem when you've been nothing but polite and kind. I just called to check on my prescription that I needed three weeks ago. It needed a prior authorization. I waited call today. I was told she couldn't find anything for me. Then when I told her the name of the medication , She finally found it. I asked her were you guys planning to tell me that it was approved or how does that work? It was as if I owed her an apology for asking, this has got to be the absolute worst customer service experience, most unprofessional pharmacy in the history of pharmacies. I'm not sure how these people interview when they first apply for these jobs, but I would like to be a fly on the wall. They need Customer Service classes because when we bring our hard earned money to you all (because insurance sucks,)we wait and we're courteous, warm and friendly, and we say hello we expect the same in return, is that not too much to ask for eye contact do better Walgreens!!!!!! The pharmacist is very kind, and this pharmacy is a breath of fresh air. I wish more pharmacies were like this one. I came from Isle of Wight County to get medication for my new baby that wasn't available readily at closer pharmacies, and the experience I had made me want to make the drive this way more often.

There was a beige cap, but I needed black. Oh well, I browsed up and down the aisle because I hadn't been to a Rite Aid in years. I guess people still love it here, because Rite Aid has been around for decades. It's never busy here, but somehow they continue to remain open. The pricing here is a bit higher than other stores, but it's super convenient. I believe this location is 24 hours and that's a huge plus. Check them out if you are in the area. The staff are always busy but professional and helpful as they can be. Be prepared to drop off your Rx and come back in an hour of two, but it's a good location close to the hospital. Many Medicare Advantage or some Medicaid plans give members a monthly or quarterly allowance (often $25-$100) to spend on over-the-counter items at stores like Walgreens. You can usually buy things like vitamins, pain relievers, toothpaste, first-aid supplies, and sometimes groceries.

I don't normally frequent WG, except for buying nail polish and using their Redbox kiosk, but that might change now that this location is even closer to my home. I walked in today to check out the new digs, and it looked pretty much like every other WG. Marsha, the Beauty Department employee, welcomed me the moment I went through the doors. She also rang me out when I was ready, and she gave me great customer service. She made sure all of the nail polish were on sale, and went through the flier for any coupons. The store was quiet, but I'm sure that will change once people start to realize this location is open. Like most other branches, they have a drive-thru pharmacy--I will be switching my prescriptions to here. I did notice they don't have a Redbox kiosk outside--bummer.
