Tough shopping experience. This Walmart is worse for wear - honestly in need of a makeover in many ways. Stocking is hit or miss, which makes shopping very frustrating. All of the cashier stations have been replaced by automated tills, so at least you can be in and out fairly quickly. read more

A few employees are rude and entitled. It seems like management condones their actions because they get it from them. Asking a supervisor or manager to open something up to get a product is a life altering burden and that you're asking for their first born child. They seem to not know how to use language to communicate and has a whole attitude of a drag queen who's use to bring the head liner of a show also known as a "diva". No matter how high or low you are on the totem pole you do not treat people rudely especially if they are your "customers". Leave your attitude and life issues at the door before you come in to work because " your customers" deserve to be treated with respect and I don't care if you woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Be better people, please and thank you. read more

If I could give negative numbers I would. I was told my order would be delayed on a grocery delivery... I was then told I ordered from a third party and I ordered at walmart.com. She insisted that I had ordered from Sparks and that she doesn't use the app, but assured me I had done so. I will NEVER shop this Walmart online or in person! Management avoided the call none of this is how you get repeat business. I have been a Walmart customer for over 20 years and a Walmart+ member for almost nine. Time to rethink the options. read more

Had the worst experience I have ever had. Was interested in buying a Fitbit watch. Talked to a salesperson that went by the name of "A". Asked him about the watches told him what I wanted and he said he doesn't wear one therefore he wasn't interested it what they did. He showed us several and I did my own research and finally got frustrated and bought the one on clearance. I probably would have spent more if I had felt that he was interested in helping me. I don't think I'm wrong in expecting the people who work in a certain department to at least know what is going on in that department. And he could have warned me that I would set off the alarm at the door while leaving the store. The lady checking bags told me the sensor was in the box. Maybe she should work in Electronics read more

Brande was funny and a friendly associate, making the returning process swift and painless.

I've been a Walmart Plus subscriber since June of 2020 and have been ordering from the S. Campbell Superstore location as my designated store for over a year now as it's the closest to me. For the most part, when I've ordered a grocery delivery for the 7 - 8 pm time frame, it's usually been a pretty good experience albeit with some minor exceptions on occasion. I work the 3rd shift at my job and a few times I've scheduled a delivery for the 8-10 am time frame so that I can put my groceries away after I get off work and go to bed, however, it seems almost every time I've had a morning delivery, I generally end up with 1 or 2 missing items and/or bad produce such as mushy brown bananas or mandarin oranges with green spots on them that usually include 1 or 2 completely moldy and rotten ones. Usually, I don't make a big fuss about it if it's just one or two things, but I've never had an experience that was nearly as bad as my most recent delivery which was missing 8 items for a total of $51! I hadn't received any notice that those items were unavailable and being that I had been charged for all of them, I'm assuming they were somehow lost in transit with the driver. So, I immediately started a return for four of the items that I instantly recognized were missing at the time. To their credit, they did refund me for those four items and I thankfully recovered $19 of that amount. I was initially so shocked and frustrated from so many missing items that I needed for the week, with the realization that I'd have to place yet another order to compensate, that I hadn't realized that 4 additional packages of ground turkey meat and cutlets were also missing. I, unfortunately, didn't notice this, however, until later that night when I went to cook in preparation for work at which time the app would not refund it as I'm assuming too much time had passed which leaves me out of $32. My advice is to always check your receipts very closely with what you receive from Walmart to verify that everything is there at the time of delivery because if you aren't paying close attention you may not realize something's of poor quality or missing until it's too late to get a refund. I will be trying a different store location for future purchases and if the delivery services are still as poor, I'll have no choice but to end my membership and spend my money elsewhere as I can't afford to buy groceries that never arrive. read more

I purchased some reduced food items that were not expired with a "Freshness Guarantee" sticker on the package. I took them home and tried one that was not edible or eaten. I took back the unopened package and the uneaten open package with my receipt. I was told they would not refund my money on reduced food items nor was I offered store credit. Buyer beware of their "Freshness Guarantee" because it means nothing. read more

I'm so disgusted by the management at this store! I'm a local & live 2 blocks away & this is the ONLY Walmart I go to in town because of location! Today I submitted an online order for pickup. I chose substitutions for my items. I only purchased like 6 things. I get a message wanting me to approve a substitution. Only problem is, they didn't get the correct substitution, so I refused it! I then drive straight to Walmart & walk in the store & physical walk straight to the CORRECT substitution I choose! I then ask for the manager over pick up. He came & spoke to me & I requested that he fix my order so that I may have the correct substitution I choose. He refused to fix the issue, claimed he couldn't do anything. Mind you this is a $2.38 issue!!!! Also want everyone to know that I had not even checked in yet to get my pick up order because it was an half an hour before check in time. So plenty of time for the management to fix the mistake THEY HAD MADE!!! So I go back out to the car & call the store & requested to speak to highest management, yet I was given the assistant manager..... Once again, I was told they couldn't fix THEIR MISTAKE! Then with out my request nor permission this manager transfers me to the store manager I originally requested to speak to. Again, no help, no compassion, no answers, nothing!!!! I haven't even mentioned the fact the pick up manager flat out lied to me trying to cover their mistake but I quickly proved he was lying which totally upset him & made him start being very rude to me!!! SAM WALTON WOULD BE DISGUSTED BY THE MANAGEMENT AT THIS STORE, AS WELL AS HOW THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE BEEN LOYAL TO THEIR INDIVIDUAL STORE FOR YEARS!!!!! OVER A $2.38 MISTAKE ON THEM!!!!!!! SO DISGUSTING!!!!! Destinysneedham2@hotmail.com read more

What a terrible experience today. I will never be back to this Walmart. First, the lights went out and there apparently was no back up generator. So after shopping for 45 minutes with a full cart I was told that I needed to "hurry" to the checkout before they closed in 20 minutes (apparently their checkout was on a different system?) I had to individually scan all the items in my cart (many) and then when I went to pay it declined my transaction. I was told to continue trying. 4 times later it keep declining. I finally just said fine I'll pay with the cash I had (which I had gotten out for a different reason). It proceeded to eat one of my 20s. At this point, I'm ready to walk. Instead of actually helping, the manager of the self check area was aggressive with me and didn't look into it. I believe she just wrote me off as lying instead of looking into it. I left the store without my groceries and then noticed that I walmart had actually charged me. I went back in and the same manager refused to let me take my groceries. She said she had voided it, but it still showed as being active. I called Walmart corporate customer experience. As of the time of this writing, the transaction was reversed but nothing has been done about the 20 dollars I have missing now. Regardless of the money, the experience was terrible. No generator, no customer service, and no true resolution yet. No more business from me, ever. read more

This is about your ladies restroom specifically the handicap bathroom at 3315 S. Campbell in Springfield ,MO. Your bathrooms are less than clean and it is understandable that you have lots and lots of people going in them. However, I think that means you (Walmart) should be spending more time in keeping the bathrooms clean. The toilet seat has evidently been burned or slashed or whatever. Those deep grooves invite bacteria. When the toilet is flushed it splashes water up onto the seat. When was the last time it was replaced? Also, the toilet paper dispenser is so close to the toilet seat that your leg hits it if you sit down and cannot get the toilet paper. Please move the toilet paper dispenser to a better place. Please take the time to really clean your restrooms and fix the layout of its contents. Your sinks to wash you hands, don't work correctly. The sink on the far right doesn't come on OR go off as it should. I've been going to this store since 1986. That's a long time, and I don't hang out in your restrooms, but I have used them and I feel your store needs more attention paid to it's lack of cleanliness. Since you're no longer open 24/7 how about taking time to update your bathrooms? (I live in Springfield, MO, NOT California.) read more

Psa this Walmart is out of toilet paper, napkins, paper towels, and baby wipes. Food is dwindling and almost all of the canned goods were gone. Non perishables we're getting low too. Meats low. Chicken gone. They said a shipment was in and they needed to put it away but it gave me a weird feeling. I would say get some non perishable food just in case and buy toilet paper where can in the mean time. read more

We came here during the Christmas rush looking for last minute resents. One of the members helped us find the game section - even walked us over that way - crazy considering if was only a few days before Christmas. We didn't think there was a lot of selection in the game department, but we are probably board games snobs and prefer those intellectual German ones. The store isn't as big as I would have expected for being a Super Walmart, but they have a little bit of everything. It will meet most people's needs. read more

Okay, okay - so I love Walmart. Is it a crime? I enjoying going to this Walmart because it is next to another one of my favorite stores (Gordmans). It also seems like I can get in/out of this WM (including parking lot) rather quickly. I go to WM all the time and I had never seen some of the Danskin clothing they had today. It doesn't take too much to excite me. :) read more

Obviously, this is a normal Walmart. They have everything. I've been here quite a few times. They have changed their policy on returns that is NOT a part of policy for all Walmarts, as they are independently owned. That being said, I bought chicken, a 20$ bag. It was so fatty when I cooked it so it needed to be returned. It wasn't expired or much used. They would not accept a return for in store credit or cash. They would only put it toward other food(which I didn't need that day). I went to a different Walmart and they had no problem with an in store credit. They informed me that isn't normal policy for Walmarts. Customer service is mediocre here. read more

Items list online are not on the aisle as listed or even in stock. And having one regular register open and half of the self checkouts open is ridiculous. I almost left $200 worth of stuff in my cart and I would of if I didn't have people at home waiting on it! I will find somewhere else to shop or order everything from Amazon! I am not standing in line 30 minutes and checking out $200 worth of groceries ever again! read more

A standard-issue Walmart, this location isn't altogether different than the others in Springfield. However, probably owing to its location, there seem to be fewer dead-eyed patrons dressed like they recently escaped the set of a low-budget horror film. That said, the checkout lines aren't any better staffed - nor the selection of products any more abundant - than at any other of the franchise's ubiquitous locales. If you're nearby and in need of something, it makes sense to shop here, but it's certainly not a place I would actively seek out. read more

While I was entering an order a message popped up stating that "my" store did not have all the items so I was transferred to another store. That lead me to believe the I needed to start over. I unintentionally made 2 orders both of which were to be picked up. The order split requiring 2 trips to the original store. The 2nd store shipped a partial order and I was charged for both orders. Getting a refund for the erroneous order was very difficult and complicated. The last person I talked to could not seem to follow the conversation and revealed impatience during our conversation. I will probably try again but will ask for the order to be shipped to avoid multiple pick up trips. read more

Had excellent experience when I needed to make a return at this Wal-Mart. I needed to return an unopened tablecloth and some matching unopened napkins. The clerk was just perfect. THIS IS A GOOD WALMART. -- I am upset with the bigwigs. Not the people at this store but the people who keep saying they are not going to raise the wages of the Wal-Mart workers, which seems wrong. There is right and there is wrong. This feels wrong. Seems to me that if each product on the shelf went up by 1/2 of a penny, Wal-Mart would be able to give their employees a raise, since the volume they sell is so big. read more

This location was really on my poop list because of a recent experience BUT...the store manager called me and he really fixed the experience for me. He actually listened to what the issue was and hopefully he got it straightened out so no other holiday shoppers have to go through this. This is one of the worst walmart's I've ever been to. If you are couponing don't ever go here I had more than one kind of coupon for something it wasn't a double it was a different price and of course they said they couldn't use it when I only bought 6 of those items also they acted like I didn't have items for things which I clearly did. They have a good amount in stock but sales really aren't special or great at all. Recommend going to CVS and not Walmart for anything beauty related. read more

Honestly I haven't shopped at a Walmart in years but the only thing I hate worse than going to Walmart is going to any grocery store but Walmarts new Grocery app is a lifesaver I can see this being brilliant for older people people with disabilities people with children who don't have time to grocery shop honestly using the app was fun it made it simple to find everything I wanted and not pick up a lot of things I don't need you drive up you call the number they bring the stuff out to you and Tommy and Cassandra were two of the nicest people I've ever found working at a Walmart they were brilliant at their customer service! Not only did I get the groceries I ordered but I got a welcoming bag full of little free goodies how can you go wrong and honestly I had been thinking about doing the app to order my groceries because I work for a grocery store years ago and just going in one raises my blood pressure I was worried I wouldn't get good produce everything I got was great and ice but not a single minute shopping not really I played on my phone while I was at work picking out items from the store it's almost like a game you try to think of the obscure things for people to find. I have to say Walmart was quick to step up their game and do this previously had been trying to live my life ordering from Amazon but there's so many things I can't get from Amazon since I've discovered this grocery pick up suddenly my subscribe and save monthly from Amazon has become only six items that's down from 32 I had in rotation. Thanks Cassandra and Tommy and Walmart. read more
