But yesterday I had to go in to purchase contact lenses refill - A lady " Laura" was temporarily helping the other opticians - she is fully employed at the Palm Bay,Florida. location. Apparently the Sebastain,Fl. location was running short on help so they had her come to help them out. What a pleasure it was to be greeted by "Laura" great attitude & knowledgable about the timeliness of when I could expect to receive my order shipped to my home. ! Full-sized Walmart Supercenter where I stopped today because I had miscounted the number of tshirts I had remaining for the rest of this week. I need two more. This store needs some help. Carts aren't just in the corrals - they're scattered everywhere in the parking lot. Inside, most of the store is well stocked though the menswear area needs some leveling. Not quite a tornado, but there hasn't been an associate through here in a bit and clothes need refolding and stacking. I did find tshirts but the ones I wanted were not in stock. Groceries, toys, hardware, all looked to be in decent shape with no merchandise on the floor, no products put back by customers in weird areas and such. I was here a week ago. I went to find an employee for help. All I saw were Spanish speaking employees on their phone! Very unprofessional!!!

I was at this Walmart yesterday and today. I had purchased a movie set for $75.00. When I opened them at home, the cases were broken. I went back to the store to return it. I was waiting at the sign that says...Returns... 3 employees were just talking and laughing looked at me, but never asked if I needed help. No one at the counter. Jennifer looks at me and states " The returns is over there" I said..oh, sorry, I was here where the sign was. Jennifer rudely says " See the register go over there". I then moved over to the register where the employee that has been previously talking and laughing with another employee goes behind the register to assist. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! What is the purpose of clogging the aisles during peak shopping hours with pallets of merchandise, having dirty looking, rude pickers filling pickup orders, and having to wait to get an item off the shelf because they are restocking? What happened to doing all of that during the overnight hours? This uses to be such a nice experience, now this store is so disheveled. Customers who are actually in the store are far more likely to spend more, yet I always feel like I'm just a pesky customer in the way. 12/8/2024 I go through the checkout and the cashier (Ignoring me) is talking with another employee that was standing there . I brought my own bags and was told that I would have to bag my stuff myself. I state that "I don't work for Walmart".and the girl standing there talking to the cashier said "We do and we don't have to beg your stuff when you bring your own bags" The cashier finally paid attention to me and decided to use my bags and just threw my stuff in. We picked up a case of coke products and didn't realize there was a broken can. When we arrived at the self checkout we realized the can leaked . We then asked one of the two non ringing associates to radio someone to bring a case of coke he refused. He stated they were too busy. The other non ringing associate crept in and deleted the case of coke from our transaction without our permission .if we are made to ring out our own groceries at LEAST OFFER customer service . You expect an elderly person to have to walk all the way to the back of the store. Meanwhile every associate has a walkie talkie and couldn't be bothered. I ordered online some items, but had to return them. Decided to just return to the store as the best option for me. It came in 2 days, I bought it back a day later, now it is still a week, and they said it is tracking for a 3rd party company and I have to wait until they get it, over a week now, they have had my money and won't refund me, but I bought it online through Walmart.com and returned it to Walmart. Still waiting for my refund. I had called them a few times, one agent emailed me a giftcard as compensation for all the problems, guess what? It does not work! What kind of sick joke do the Walmart customer services agents play with customers? They want good reviews, so lie to you with fake giftcards, Walmart has a serious internal problem with their customer service agents playing games with customers. You call, and get no response or help. Walmart is the worst to buy with online. This sick joke with sending me a giftcard that did not have anything on it when I went to use it was sick. My recent Walmart visit turned sour due to an unfortunate encounter with Mark, the door greeter, who falsely accused me of theft and kept me in the store AGAINST MY WILL even though 2 other associates cleared me and asked mark to stand down. Shockingly, Brent, another associate, who claimed to be the store manager supported the baseless claim without any evidence. As a local resident, homeowner, and business owner in uniform, I am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism displayed. This incident question the training provided to associates, as such actions could potentially result in a defamation lawsuit. It's sad to see such accusations tarnish the overall shopping experience. Walmart take swift action, investigate this matter thoroughly, and invest in better training to prevent unwarranted accusations in the future. Improved training will not only protect customers but also uphold the reputation of the store. I never had such an experience anywhere else. PUBLIX, WINN-DIXIE OR ANY OTHER GROCERY STORE. I'm from Jacksonville, FL so people in my area would consider this a 'nicer' Walmart. Wasn't use to the layout but found everything we were looking for, and then some. I am giving this one a 3 stars because I picked up a chicken sandwich on the way out but looks like they mixed the spicy in with the regular. I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered groceries and I have been a member for years. Somehow the driver couldn't find my house. I called the grocery orders and the girl on the phone on 1/7/23 at 6:14 was extremely rude. No customer service whatsoever not even a suggestion to help the situation, basically said sorry and blamed me for having the wrong address and hung up on me. I was in store yesterday, 1/3/24 And store was busy ! They had to keep opening registers. Then they were closing so workers , could go home. I was in line for over 1/2 hour. The women behind register told me to go to another line. So I looked, the lines were very long! I decided not too. I had ice cream and frozen food! I would have been in a new line well over a half hour. The customer in front of me had $496.00 worth of food! For her work. The credit card would not go through. Now I am like starting to have anxiety! Was not the cashiers fault. She called management. Management could not get it through. So they went to customer service desk. My ice cream was soft! Only when necessary do I come here. We needed a last few items for a birthday party today and I managed to chat with two incredibly helpful employees at this location. The merchandiser in the home section pointed me in the direction for pool towels which at Christmas time are not in their usual spot. Though I typically bypass the self check, today it was going to faster than the three open lanes with 20 customers each in them. The only remaining self check station was in manager mode and therefore I couldn't use it. The self check monitor, Tom, came right over, corrected the settings and then helped me to ring up my items and bagged them. In and out of this place in less than 15 minutes. Perfect. read more

This store has gone downhill in the past few months. Messy and disorganize. The managers I suppose are the ones in the nicer clothes are rude to their staff. Your so called customer service department needs a little work. I came in to exchange a few items and most them were on the sales slip. The one that wasn't I bought back in June and I unfortunately didn't have that slip anymore. I want to post a picture I have bought eggs here many times and the big boxes r duck taped shut now cause they r sll half broken I used to be able to get a box with 2 or 3 broken eggs now i cant tell and I get 10 or more..so I got a small pack and opened it all eggs look find on top but they r all crushed on the bottom!!! We went to the Walmart Pharmacy located in the Sebastian FL Walmart Store today. We received outstanding, above and beyond the call of duty, service from the pharmacy manager, Ruben Oliveira. He took a personal interest in helping my executive assistant get a much needed prescription filled in a prompt and timely fashion. The Sebastian, FL. Walmart is the best Walmart in Indian River County in my opinion. The cleanliness, the customer service and atmosphere is outstanding. However, this Walmart like the rest, has one major flaw. After 9PM, they force you to use the self checkout registers. If you are lucky, there will be ONE person available at the regular registers to "ring-out' your groceries and products but don't hold your breath. Customers beware- Walmart has started a new, sneaky, unwritten policy to "funnel and force" customers into doing all of the "checkout" work themselves. And, they don't care if you are young, old, healthy, injured or sick, you WILL do the backbreaking work of scanning and bagging your own items if you venture into the store after 9PM. And the thing that is beyond my comprehension is that WE do nothing about it and act as if this is NORMAL. This is NOT normal. This is preposterous, dangerous and a bullying type of mentality by the Walmart Management and Ownership. We need to stop this before someone gets hurt doing the back-bending work that THEY get paid to do. read more

I shop this Walmart on a regular basis; about 4 to 6 times a week when necessary. Being a former Home Depot employee (during the Bernie and Arthur days), when customer service was as important as making the sale, I'm acutely aware of good customer service. I don't recall ever having a negative customer service encounter at this Walmart in Sebastian. Just recently, I misplaced my wallet and was forced to use the old school method of writing a check. For some reason on this particular day, the register wouldn't clear my check. The cashier (I believe her name is Alex), showed an outstanding professional attitude (where some might get rattled and agitated) she remained calm, focused, and smiling which became contagious to me and the customer patiently waiting behind me.
