The phone rang and rang. I called back 5 times and left it ring for at least 2 minutes each time. On the 6th try, someone finally answered. I told her that I was there to pick up my prescription and she responded with "well, you're going to be waiting a while cuz I am the only one here". She offers no solution at all and there is silence. I ask again if there is any way because I need this medication today. She again has no answer. What?? I have my two kids with me (ages 1 and 4) that I would rather not drag through the rain to go in to the store. I don't know why they offer this service if they aren't able to have enough staff to run it. I find this unacceptable and wouldn't recommend this service to anyone unless they have nowhere to be that day.

Melissa Schlenker, who I believe is the Head Pharmacist, does such an outstanding job of going the extra mile for each and every customer. She has the patience of a saint and is outstanding in every way. Her assistant, Kelly, is excellent as well. She knows her job and does it so well. I am thankful for such great people at our Hamburg Weis Pharmacy. I will conlude by saying that Amy Breidigan, Front Desk Manager is just wonderful. Always helpful and with a smile on her face. I got her home and in the recliner and set up with water, cell phone, etc and went to pick up pain meds... It took the 4 1/2 hours to process 30 pills for pain ( opiates ) after a surgery with the script called in by the surgical unit of the hospital. They NEVER answer the phone, just stiff arm you with the computer system, leaving me with no way to convey the urgency of the situation. I'm transferring our meds elsewhere.
