I went into Walmart for milk, bread and bacon so o did not grab a cart. This time of the year I know sometimes things start to get marked down. Out of curiosity with my hands full I wondered over to the trees to see if they were on sale yet. When I got there several trees were marked down. In the first 2 photos is the tree and price that sparked my interest. It was a great price so I decided to leave my 4 items there to get a cart as it was a deal I did not want to pass up on. After getting the cart and finding a deal, I was compelled to do some holiday shopping which I was not originally planning on doing. I got to the front to pay and the tree rung up at full price. I called over the worker at self checkout and she said it was too late for her to approve but advised me to go over to the service center. I waited in line and explained the situation to the worker. The worker said unfortunately that is for the display. As we are having this discussion another man pulls up to the service center with the same tree and price. At this point the worker calls for a manager and as we are waiting for him to show up a third person with the same tree walks by and joins the line. The manager by the name of Frank comes over and says to everyone and says it is only the display on sale. We explain that is there is no sign that states that. The tag states as of 12/16/24 it was marked down to $55.88. He yea yes that is the clearance tag for the display. I explained nowhere does it indicate that. Frank went on to say we were all uneducated which was very inappropriate and I made that statement. Frank was very ignorant and kept speaking down to us. We all were very kind and just wanted the sale price that was clearly stated. Frank said why would we not mark the shelf if it was on sale. I said idk I thought maybe an employee forgot to mark the shelf.... He said that would never happen at Walmart and all their systems are up to date with correct pricing. I chuckled and said really.... And Frank said all he was willing to do was offer 10%. The last family to join with what we thought was the sale tree said well what about the 25% sale signs on all trees they had posted everywhere. The second 2 pictures attached. Frank said there were no such signs. So they walk back and there they all were. Frank said they would ring at the 25% which non of them were and had to have an override too. I told Frank did you not just tell me you guys don't make mistakes like that??? He said he would honor the 25% but not the mark down price listed on the tree for $55.88. This is less then $100 dollar error that many people were reading the exact same way. I stated this was a bate tactic if they would not honor the price. I only shopped because of the prices and only went in for milk, bread and bacon spending over $200 based off false pricing. They would not provide me the store managers name. I was told it was posted on the wall and I could find it there. I asked for the District manager and regional managers information and was told it could not be provided. I also asked the manager for his name and he told me I did not needed it. That managers name I got and it was Frank. Sorry for any grammar errors or run-ons but felt this experience should be shared. When you have perfectly calm clients one should not insult them and cause unnecessary escalation of a matter that was cause by their own workers. I get it is Walmart but service is still service and if things are incorrectly marked you should honor the price and then just take down the signs so this issue is resolved. Looking to follow up with the store manager and area manager based of this experience.

Your establishment should consider posting visible signs from parking lot that one entrance is closed. In addition, having at least 30 feet of barricades and requiring the elderly and people with health conditions walking around this structure is ridiculous. Your staff (who is rude) should be able to "control" those coming in without masks without requiring people to be herded like cattle. I'll stick to Weis for my grocery needs.

We have been to this Walmart many times over the years. Its a great place to shop but we were there the past 2 weekends. There are signs posted stating masks must be worn to shop there. I am astonished as to how many people are allowed without masks. several people were confronting the manager who stated we are not allowed to say anything. ALL employees wore them and the registers were wiped down after every check out A+ on that but does it really matter when you have so many bone heads without masks possibly spreading the virus onto products and food that other people touch, This store is so irresponsible. IGA in Hawley has no problem not allowing in people not wearing masks properly. Funny I asked on their facebook site why masks were not enforced at that store but it was quickly taken down and I can no longer post on that site.

Typical Walmart, very good prices, friendly staff. Sometimes, when the check-out lines are long, they delay opening new ones
