Now skip to present day...Still the friendliest grocery. During the covid-19 social distancing, employees are taking all precautions. Owners John and Debbie are actively engaged with customers and staff, making regular announcements, spending time on the store floor, etc. Plastic screens are at all registers. The store is clean and orderly. Easy access along Route 93, plenty of parking, a nearby pharmacy, and a few restaurants with carryout make this an ideal grocery stop. Mom made a store run at 7 am today, and was so pleased with what Gould's Shursave is doing. Thank you for taking care of our community!

The produce, deli, bakery and meat departments are very good. There is a lot of variety in all areas of the store! The real draw is that the staff become like family if you shop often enough. It is the friendliness of the staff and owners that make it so nice to shop there. It is hard to find nicer young people that are working and going to school who have time and respect for their customers. I read one review that was so far off the mark! Wrong about everything. I for one don't want or need the big flash or pomp that many NEW grocery stores hype! I like the friendliness, kindness, and good work ethics I find in Gould's!

The interior and architecture are pretty neat to look at, as it carries a somewhat 70s 80s feel especially with the neon lights up. It's awesome to see how big the departments are just by looking around. Many of the items are easily found which are laid out from active, coats, dresses, and accessories, to name a few. Each department looks pretty well kept up which seems to me, that not a lot of recovery needs to be done. It would be great to see more employees out on the sales floor to provide quick assistance. Has a standard selection for Goodwill that includes clothing, furniture, media, and housewares. The biggest issue with this store is selection here has always been lighter than other local Goodwill's. They just don't seem to get the depth in stock most others I've visited get. Employees have been useful during most of my visits. This locations strongest feature is the ease of donating. They seem to take most items but technology. The donation door is at the side of the entrance closest to the driveway, with the rules being clearly noted on a very visible sign. You do need to inform an employee you are here to donate. I've never had them reject anything I've donated. Overall, shopping here is ok, but donating here is easy and painless.
