Why would anyone get an oil change anywhere else in this county...these guys vacuum the interior and their prices are the lowest...WOW

This is the cleanest and most organized Walmart I've ever been to in years! My family and I were vacationing in Rockport, TX and as per usual we forgot to bring a couple items with us. We decided to check out Walmart since we had a feeling we were going to be able to find everything we were missing in there. My first impression walking in to the store was how clean everything was. Compared to other Walmart stores, this one has a wider range of outdoor stuff like fishing gear, swimming items and other outdoor stuff. They also have a nice selection of fresh produce and other home items. My only note is that the shopping carts are very rusty due to the sea environment. However it is a little scary to put your child inside a rusty cart. Just keep that in mind when visiting with a child. read more

I will give it 2 stars just because it was open late and the beach items that I needed for Sunday were in stock. The posted hours were incorrect, the time posted is that the store is open until midnight, we went in at 10:10 pm and they were closing down. The lady working at the self-service checkout yelled at us to get to the register and then rolled her eyes when she had to I.D check for beer. They turned off all the lights in the parking lot so kinda sketchy there. So basically go there way before closing time but pretty sure the customer service will still be lacking! read more

Oblivious staff. Dirty store. Missing lots of products. I wasn't a fan of this place. Mithinks not. It seems like most any other Walmart out there, but this place is just worse. It's sprawling. Huge. It's like twice as big as the store location down Business 35 that they abandoned and now is an eyesore. Thanks Wal-Mart :( The place looks like it needs a good scrubbing. You would think that with so many business's being shut down due to Covid-19 that Walmart would step up their game since they are allowed to be open. Sadly that is not the case. We waited in the fabric department for a full 30 minutes before someone finally arrived to assist us. We talked to several wandering associates and pushed the call button numerous times to no avail. When the associate finally showed up she told us that none of the workers had been relieved for their breaks. Just one more reason to shop everywhere else I can when I can. PS. It STINKS that I have been a Walmart + customer for Awhile now and the New Walmarts that I moved close too dont offer DELIVERY or PICKUP But I keep getting emails asking me to restart my subscription . Bought a tablet Monday it's now Wednesday, the Internet feature malfunctioned, called the customer service for the tablet, they couldn't fix it. My only option was to being it back. Called the store ro make sure they would take it back they said yes. When I got there though it was a whole thing! I called the customer service and they then called Walmart and she hung up on them because she was run told to exchange it. I left with no new tablet but the customer service did a formal complaint to all necessary people. Including her boss. This store is deplorable I have so many complaints that are violations of policy but this one did it in. read more

I have never been a big fan of Walmart but the customer service I have received while shopping at the Rockport store has been great...especially in the pharmacy and the department for eye glasses. 4:30 on Saturday afternoon, a flat tire. No ones idea of a good time. I put some air in and make a mad dash to the last tire shop open in Rockport, TX at 4:45...Walmart. I pull up at 4:50, garage doors are down. Noooo! I walk up to the door and get the "wave off" from one of the workers. He comes to the door, I plead my case and he says, "we are already closed". Closed before posted closing time?! What?! Are you kidding me? With air spewing out of the tire on my wife's care, I say "it's not 5:00 yet". He has the nerve to tell me "it's less than 10 til 5:00". The last thing I need right now is an attitude. No offer to help not even an offer to put air in! And we wonder why so many people have a sour taste in their mouth when it comes to Walmart. I've been volunteering here for 6 months with disaster relief. You would think local businesses would be a little more appreciative. Sad to say, I suppose not. read more

WalMart is the convenience store of one-stop shopping in every corner of America!!! That's a big deal! A very big deal! Rockport has only 8,766 people but they have a WalMart "Supercenter!" WOW!!! This store had a whole different variety of products than their stores in San Antonio. Why? Because this company caters to a specific demographic. Think about that for a minute. Whether it's about the location of the store or it's about the ethnicity of the customers, their individual needs are met. That consistency of business expectations is highly commendable. And I respect that personal concern by the owners of all these WalMart stores that fill up this country in countless cities and towns. It's phenomenal what they have done for the people of this country. I got my mom a soft pair of slippers, they were too small, so I return them and in less than 10 minutes, I am walking out the door with a new pair of slippers to fit my mom's feet. My mom is happy, and I am a very satisfied customer in a store that I've never been to, in a tiny town that I only visit. C'mon, WalMart deserves respect and applause. Thank you Rockport WalMart, you deserve more than 5 little stars!!!! read more

Deli clerk was extremely rude this morning. She was mumbling about something when she came out from the back, possibly saying she wasn't ready to open. It was just a few minutes before 9:00 AM. She asked me, in a very condescending voice, "What do you want?" I told her that I wanted some oven roasted turkey, so she took it out of the cooler and slammed it on the counter. Fed up with her, I told her to forget it, I didn't need her attitude and that I didn't the turkey and cheese that bad. I was told by other employees, that her name was Kim. She has the "I am tired of tourists" attitude or possibly, she doesn't like men. I had planned to do some more shopping but after the encounter with the Lady (sic) at the deli, I checked out as quickly as possible. An employee like this is bad for business. I won't be back to Walmart in Rock Port ever.! There is no Southern Hospitality at this Walmart. read more

I don't want to go into any gory detail here but this must be the nicest Walmart I have ever visited in my life. The store was very, very clean. The aisles were totally free of clutter and the items on the shelves were organized. Big parking lot, great lighting in the store. Easy to read signs. I just am not used to Walmart stores being so nice. I had occasion to visit three times over a few days and it was always the same. The only thing I ran into that could be considered not positive is all three times the greeter was looking at something and did not greet me. Not a big deal to me but I guess if their job is to greet then they were not doing their job as well as Walmart would have liked I surmise. read more

Terrible customer service. Lied to three times. I bought a 90 dollar tree about a month and a half ago talked to several people did not have a receipt everyone said I could get my money back in store credit. So when it comes the day to bring it back first person was like you can't bring it back of course none of the people I talked to before were there so after fighting them they gave me HALF my money back. I work for the local Sears store and I know there are things you can do to get a customer a full refund. It's totally messed up for a empire of a company to fight over 90 dollar refund..Andrew the Asmanger was the one who tried to help but he was also the guy that lied.. read more

Went in Saturday for four new tires. People should be paid by the work and customer reviews. Paid good money for the tires only to find out that in order to pay the increase in wages, for nothing more then liberal bs, Walmart now charges for everything under the sun and table. Watch your receipt, even asking to not charge hazard and life time balance, plus we wanted three old tires back, and to check the sensor as it will not go out. Well they charged for hazard repair, life time balance, new stems at 3.00 a piece balance and more, that after having it all removed was overs hundred dollars off. OMG Obama. To top it off they did not save the tires, change the valve stems, or check the sensors. I would stay far away from Walmart. read more
