This trip we stayed in a TownePlace suite, with a mini kitchen that has an oven, so we made dinner ourselves each night. We visited this HEB as it was on the way back from the beach... this is the grocery store in Port Aransas on the mainland (not on Mustang Island)... we visited on Pi day, 3.14 / 3/14 / March 14. And, like so many grocery stores now a days, they had pie specials... - $3.14 for two slices (mix n match flavors) - $3.14 for a half pie (same flavor) - $3.14 off a full pie We got a couple slices and some chicken which we grilled back at the restaurant. A clean store. Great food selection. Great staff... especially the nice lady keeping the pi / pie table filled - thank you! ----- ----- -----

Wife always forgets something, so it is me off to Wallgreens to pick it up. The store was huge, clean, and the workers greeted me when I entered, something don't always get. Had everything we forgot and some on sale. Right by Rockport Beach. Probably why so nice.

I had already looked online at Walgreens and knew the prices. I had also looked on Amazon and overstock.com to compare prices; their reviews turned me away. I drove to Walgreens and immediately noticed the marquee "20% off all perfumes." Lately, my days have been continuously blessed about things coming to me immediately. I am grateful now. Life is beautiful!! I went to my car with my goodies to smell them because they have no testers. I found that Giorgio Beverly Hills smelled of the original scent and strength. The Shalimar also was the original scent and strength. But the Anais Anais was original but less in certain top notes, potency was not there. So I bought additional Shalimar and Giorgio for the Spring and Summer of '19. I wore the Giorgio into the coffee shop. A gentleman noticed immediately and spoke to me. Perfumes are certainly an original gift from Jehovah God, and I am grateful now.

Tried to get prescriptions from here after the new year with a new Part D company. Two…read moreprescriptions needed prior authorizations, and this pharmacy lied to us and said we already got our medications, but we hadn't. Jeanette in pharmacy got snippy with us so we had to report them to our new insurance company. The insurance company called Walgreens and told them to check to make sure we hadn't gotten our meds, then Walgreens confessed that they hadn't filled the prescriptions. We never got an apology from Walgreens for their mistake. Try another Walgreens in the area, pharmacy service is poor. We will drive out of our way to go elsewhere. Customers shouldn't be lied to when their medications are very important for life saving conditions.

If I had known that it would take 3 hours, I would have gone somewhere else. On top of that, each time I called, the staff was extremely curt and rude to me. They would try to rush me off the phone and tell me that they had to take care of customers who were already there waiting first. I will NEVER ever go back here again! What a frustrating experience!
