Don't go here for tire repair. Supposedly fixed my slow leak on visit 1, next morning flat tire. Visit 2 and 3 told to wait 3 hours. 4th visit they find a nail they missed on first visit, argued with me they did nothing wrong and charged me a second time for repair. Disappointment of a Walmart... It is a super center that is not very super. Went in to look at a new case for my boys Nintendo switch... his needs to be retired. They had nothing! In fact the selection of Nintendo switch accessories was pretty lacking. The store itself seemed dilapidated, run down, kind of dark... not inviting at all. Why is it that the only lane open for someone to actually ring you up the cashier is no where to be found? I had nearly 400$ worth of shit to buy and had to go to self checkout. The management there is absolutely terrible and they have an people greeter there who acts like mall cop will illegally block you and force you to show an receipt when in reality you have the right not to show receipt. Even though this false imprisonment method has been addressed with store management I did observe that continuing as early as this last weekend. Stay away from TIRE and LUBE EXPRESS. I showed at 6:10 p.m. with a flat tire and the services writer seen me and didn't even acknowledge me until 6:25 p.m. until another technician came and spoke to me and I told her I had a flat tire and needed to be seen but she just kept telling me that they closed at 7 p.m. and they had 2 four tire sale on the the screen and they wouldn't be able too do my flat repair. I told her I had no where special to go and would wait but again she told me they closed at 7 p.m. again I told her I would wait but she just told me they closed at 7 p.m. So folks go to another place to get tires and lube because they will not accept you if it's close to 7 p.m. read more

Two stars for just being in Aransas Pass. Being stopped at the door on the way out to prove you haven't stolen something is disturbing and inconvenient. I don't like it and I normally refuse. I have been to several other Wal-Mart stores and none has this practice. The selection at this store is wesk compared to other stores I have shopped at. Lines are always long. 2 cashiers and 2 registers open, but plenty of people trying to herd you into the "Do it yourself checkout lines. Most of us older people refuse to use them because they deprive more people of a job. Part of the treat of shopping is socializing with a nice clerk. But this Walmart has taken that away. Seniors have to stand in line way too long to get waited on. Other Walmart's have many more cash registers open. And clerks seem friendlier. This is a nice store, well located and a wide variety of options to choose from. But, the drive for profit is killing it as a positive destination. It is just as easy to go to Portland or Walmart. read more

Everyone knows that Walmart has a great return policy and the lowest prices around. Unfortunately in order to keep their prices low they cut back on register clerks, resulting in long wait times . I shopped here today and was about to purchase a 15000BTU unit for $400. No customer service personnel were were to be found. I asked the tire clerk to request help for me and she reluctantly did so over the intercom. After 10 minutes, no help arrived and I went across the street to Lowes to purchase my items. Sorry Sam, your managements lack of service cost you a $400 sale today. Not much really, but multiply that by thousand like minded shoppers, you have a problem. Can't understand the low ratings of this store. We have been there several times. The staff has been very helpful and polite. The store is well stocked and clean. I had a prescription transferred and they went out of their way to help me. The checkout lines are not very long & they do have self checkout areas also. When we left I offered to show my receipt but he said he saw me checking out and to go on out. Maybe they have just improved a lot over the last couple of years! I will be back. read more

walmart in aransas pass texas across from lowes . we went inside searching for a printer and the lady told us she was mgr. she also stated she worked electronics 12 years. so the reason she stopped us and asked if we needed help is because we were looking at the printer boxes and reading the boxes. so when she offered to help i informed the lady we were looking for a printer that used a sdcard or had a sdcard slot. she said she never heard of a printer with an sdcard slot. that must be something new in 2020. some new thing. i informed her ive had 3 of them ten years ago. she went on to state that walmart does not have any printers with an sdcard slot or memory slot or any slot on the printer for viewing or sending or printing pictures or documents. and that i mustve been at bestbuy and not at walmart. so maybe i should try bestbuy again. read more

I'm giving this walmart 2 stars because customer services sucks. Weather it be WIC or coupons. I was accused of making fake coupons worth $2.00, when item itself was $30.00. Seriously wouldn't accept my coupon then accused me of making it. Let's be real, if I was gonna make a coupon I would've made it for more then just $2.00. Their knowledge on WIC is unreal. Nobody is on the same page. Plus they don't offer to get you the right item. Just plain awful. read more

Horrible service at the tire and lube express. Under staffed and poor work ethic by those who collect a paycheck from there. Although the checkout personnel were very friendly and helpful, the people in the electronics department were not well informed on HDMI adapters. It is a pet peeve of mine when people who don't have the answer feel they have to invent an answer. Just say, "I don't know" if you don't know. They did not know about connecting a smart phone to a tv through a hdmi cable. read more

Folks, for goodness sake, don't let one rotten apple spoil the entire barrel! Old reviews from 5 and 6 years ago, should be removed. What would we do now without Walmart?? Since this horrible COVID outbreak, Walmart has done everything to make life easier for us. I am elderly, disabled and confined to a wheelchair when outside of my home. Whether I need a carton of milk or a bottle of beer. . . they are as close as my computer. . . type in my order and have it the same or next day. For every "bad" experience there are hundreds of good ones. Deliveries are made on time and with a smile. (Personally, I have never had a bad one). Substitutions are always made with something better and frozen foods always arrive frozen. If you are missing an item (I had one in past year) they will refund or resend - - whatever you want. Service is the best! If you find waiting in line to check out, try the "do-it-yourself" checkout, or just relax at home and order on-line, like I do. My wife and I decided today to purchase a new TV. After much research on the internet we decided on a Vizio Model E420VL. We then narrowed down the purchase options that we had and decided that the price listed online at http://www.walmart.com/ip/Vizio-E420VL/13904835 was a fair price. We then proceeded to go to the local Wal-Mart-Mart located in Aransas Pass Texas. Upon arrival we went and looked at the TV's. The Vizio Model E420VL was on display with the price of $598.00 listed. I called one of the employees over to question why it was $50 higher here. I explained to him that I had used the internet to make our decision, and then went to the local store (Aransas Pass) to assure that they were available. The site indicated that they were. That is why we came to the store. We planned to purchase a product for the price listed on the internet site for that store. Well, lo and behold it is another case of Wal-Mart-Mart bait and switch. I was informed that Wal-Mart-Mart stores do not honor Wal-Mart-Mart.com advertised prices. That if I wanted that price I could order it online and have it shipped to the store. This is blatant rip-off. Wal-Mart-Mart is providing false and misleading information via the internet in order to sucker people into the store where the prices are higher. If this is not an illegal business practice, then I do not know what is. Wal-Mart-Mart does it again. Tries any way that they can to lure customers in through their false advertising and underhanded business prates. How much longer is the government going to allow such practices. From what I can see, Wal-Mart-Mart is going down hill and now is trying every false and misleading practice they can think of to sucker people into their stores. read more

They continually want to use only 2 lines, never answer their phones, their pharmacy seems to always have trouble filling prescriptions and fail to contact you if there is a problem! There auto shop sucks I had a tire off of my travel trailer and needed a new one. The first lady that helped me was nice but had to turn me over to a tall skinny rude lady that worked in the shop. She got upset that i had a few questions about the tire such as ply ratings and load capacity then decided that i was going to have to wait 2 hrs to get the tire put on a rim. I wasnt asking them to put it on the camper just on the rim. They put me last in line when i had ben there first and had a bunch of so called mechanics standing around talking. I got my old tire back and drove to Corpus and went to a Firestone a couple blocks off of I 37. The people thert got me the same quality tire 50.00 cheaper , mounted it and put it in the back of my truck by the time i could fill out the paperwork and pay. read more

Terrible service at this location. Went there to get my oil changed on my truck. I pull up and wait there for a few mins for them to come see what I want done. I see 2 guys standing around smoking cigarettes and visiting with each other. So I make my way in where I am standing waiting for another 10 to 15 minutes before I even get acknowledged. Mine while one the guys goes over to the trash can and stands there and spits his dip in the trash while he visits with one the other employees there. Then walks over to the car he working on and starts looking through the back window of someone else's car. What business does he have in the back of an suv for a oil change. Finally they get to me and then I asked how long it's gonna take and they tell me 40 minutes. I give them the benefit of the doubt and give them an hour to change my oil. 2 1/2 hours later I get a call saying my truck is ready. That is the worst experience I've ever had at a I Walmart tire and lube center I will not be back this location. They just have a poor lazy work ethic. Whatever happened to customer service. read more
