Worst customer service I've dealt with in a long time at the Walmart on Unser & Southern. Customers are basically FORCED to use self checkout because Walmart refuses to properly staff actual cashiers, then when an honest mistake happens, management suddenly acts like it's entirely the customer's fault. My daughter accidentally left two items behind at self checkout and went back like 20 minutes later, only to be told someone had already taken them. Instead of helping, manager Adele immediately hid behind "policy" -- except she couldn't even explain the policy correctly. When I tried looking for the policy on Walmart I couldn't find anything but I did some research on reddit, chatgpt and Google and all I could find is that it's up to management. What's funny is my husband had the SAME thing happen earlier this week at the SAME store, and they checked cameras and let him retrieve his items with no problem. So apparently the rules depend on which manager is having a power trip that day. Adele acted like replacing two items totalling about $20 from a billion-dollar corporation was going to personally bankrupt Walmart. The lack of common sense, consistency, and basic customer service was honestly pathetic. If Walmart is going to force people into self checkout to save money on employees, then maybe they should also accept that mistakes happen and stop treating honest customers like criminals over a couple forgotten items. Thank God we are able to dispute the charge and get our money back. I understand that customers should double check and make sure they took all of their items, But what made this situation worse was how unprofessional the manager Adele was during the interaction. While my daughter was trying to explain what happened, Adele was literally smiling and smirking at her like the whole situation was some kind of joke. My daughter was already upset and embarrassed, and instead of showing basic customer service or empathy, she acted dismissive and rude. Completely unhelpful, rude, and unprofessional management. Walmart store #3732 Get better workers! Monica in receiving is lazy! If you don't like your job then go do something else and let someone else take over your position. In my 13 years of delivering I have never met anyone as lazy as her. Multiple times just making me wait hours for just 1 pallet drop off that you don't even have to check in. It's just fright not merchandise. One time she told me it was time for her lunch break at 12:00 & came back & said we closed 12:30 like what? You should've just told me to leave. Wasting my time. I have other deliveries to make waiting on me. I hope Walmart corporate knows about all them re delivery fees they getting charge because of you and refusal of deliveries. In the auto care center service manager Angela I believe her name was and I can't remember the gentleman who cashed me out were decently nice and the time limit wasn't as bad as I expected. The problem I have is I can't say the same for the service technicians who got an attitude with my Uncle who was on oxygen, and the area itself is just not a very safe feeling area I saw multiple shoplifters leaving out that area, people getting testy with each other, and arguments just ridiculous. read more

I needed one can of spray paint. the cans are all behind locked glass, no one came to help after 10+ minutes of ringing the buzzer. i walked down to the auto area, where I waited in line for another 5 minutes to ask for help in the paint dept. The clerk said she is the only person working in the department and since there were customers in line BEHIND me, it would be a while. so, I did all my grocery shopping, returned to the paint dept, again pressing buzzer and no assistance. I gave up after another ten minutes. i wish this were the only time something like this happened at this particular store. This is the most poorly-managed WalMart I have visited in the greater Albuquerque area. so I left the store without the one item that had brought me there to begin with. They had a recording playing while scanning items at checkout, which only added to the uncomfortable feeling, like I was being treated as if I was dishonest or there to cause trouble. To top it all off, there was a receipt checker at the door who gave me a hard look on my way out. Overall, the experience made me feel more like a potential thief than a valued customer. I got a much better price for my tires at this Walmart, but the saying is true that "you get what you pay for." I purchased the tires because they better prices for the exact same tire somewhere else. I took my truck for it 1st balance and rotation, but when I got the truck back, it was worse than when I 1st took it in. Its because they only did a rotation, no balance. I pulled up to the doors and workers just starred at me. So I went inside. Customer service was nice at the front desk, but absolutely sucked in the garage. Just to let you know, I have of course escalated this complaint to corporate and as of this date I am still waiting on a refund( 14 days. They said 72 hrs.). I've contacted Walmart numerous times about the refund. I made the mistake of shopping here again after I had received items before that had to be refunded. Years ago. And they STILL haven't changed their policies that they must provide the worst products and service. A month ago I gave them the benefit of the doubt when an item was damaged. I asked for a refund but made no complaint. On the 14th it was far far worse. I actually didn't know that that many hands on; that many staff members never saw that there were highly damaged food items. I didn't know that people could be so bad at one job. Simply grabbing, packing up, bringing out to a car, putting them in the trunk. And no one noticed that half of the groceries were damaged, smashes, torn open, ect?? Come on. No. it was either on purpose or they're that stupid. I don't know which. But that's what happened. I threw away half of the groceries because I couldn't imagine what had gotten into the food. So everything went into the trash. The first item I saw and again gave them the benefit of the doubt, even though I know all other Walmart stores in the city can manage to never make a mistake and this one makes mistakes all of the time. I asked and got a refund for the first time. Then I starting seeing the rest of the food. I was sick to my stomach. Every food item was smashed and torn open. I believe they do it on purpose. There's no other explanation other than they are that incompetent and shouldn't be allowed to work. This review is to warn people not to shop there. Stay away and shop somewhere else. If you do shop there, look over every single item that is put into your car. Make the associate stand there and help you unpack everything. And make them return inside with anything that is damaged to get another. They should be providing service. This location does not. Make them change. Or they don't have to come to work anymore. If you make the public do your job for you, then we might as well do it and they can just go unemployed. I already do 1000's of jobs a day. Their service is horrible and their Managers Honesty and Veronica were no help what so ever!!! The Kiosk doesn't work and you have to call to pick up your order from beside. Most of the time when you call you get a machine and the mailbox is full. When someone finally shows up they take longer to go back and find the order. This Walmart is very close to my home, so we frequent it. I've not been in many Walmart's, supercenters or otherwise. This one seems to me quite good. Whenever we've had a problem, they've always worked with us. We do most of a grocery shopping here and am thankful that it is so close and the price of food is about a economical as you can get. I arrived at 7am. The electronics area was supposed to open at 7am. At 7:10 I asked an employee if they could get the person working in electronics. They stated they were getting their till to open. At 7:30am it was still not open and by this time about 10 employees saw us standing there.m and did not offer to assist. At 7:35 I called the store using my cell phone and let them know I was waiting on electronics for quite a while. Someone came over and called someone on their radio to no avail. She simply stated, I don't have a key. I decided to leave Walmart at 7:50 am without making a purchase. Walmart, you lost the sale of 2 laptops and 2 sets of air pods to Target! Changed the sticker: Wife and I stopped in at this Walmart and needed a snack. Went for a corn dog. No corn dogs, but the chicken sandwiches and egg rolls were ready, however, they had a weird sticker on them that showed they were made at 240PM. I asked if these items were made today and they said yes, so I told them its only 215PM. They took all eggbros and chicken sandwiches back and just changed the stickers. Walmart refused to honor the warranty on a set of 4 tires. Three people including the Automotive Manager told me specifically that they will not honor tire warranties. The 60,000 mile tires wore out (EVENLY) at 40,000 miles. 2 people told me the tread was too low to honor the warranty. That makes no sense whatsoever!!! Then, the manager told me the only warranty they honor is their own road hazard warranty and that if I wanted the warranty honored then I would have to call Goodyear. I called Discount Tire and Big O. Both told me if the tires wear out (EVENLY) before the warranty then the replacement tires would be prorated accordingly. In this case that would have been a 33% discount. i already knew this, of course. Walmart screwed me but they don't care. They don't care about you either. I have not shopped there for 2 months now. My $800 a month is insignificant to them . Crooks! read more

This is the first Wal-Mart I've seen that is very unorganized and everything scattered everywhere. I am not sure if they are reorganizing all their departments of the store but it's a chaotic nightmare trying to find anything when it's all scattered. They did not have any beer from La Cumbre. It was mostly domestics with only 2 local breweries Santa Fe and Bosque. Very disappointed. I don't like to go to Walmart usually anyways but I was in the area and wanted a beer to drink at my friends house up in Rio Rancho before we headed out to the casino. The staff isn't very friendly or inviting. I tried to come up to one of the staff members to ask if they carried La Cumbre and he was too busy stocking stuff with his headphones blasting he didn't even acknowledge my existence. The security guard at the entrance was no better he seemed more aware as to the events going on on Facebook on his phone rather than the rest of the place. Place could've been on fire and he wouldn't have noticed. His giant black cowboy hat he wore was just as surprising. I guess he was making plans for his weekend at work on his phone. Disappointed that each time I come in there are very few cashiers. 21 checkout lanes and one speedy and 5 regular checkouts open at 11am on a Saturday morning and 5 people per line waiting. I noticed more employees filling orders for people who pick up their food. Not much In Grocery for vegans since we are on a restricted lifestyle. Watch your receipt, especially items marked as clearance. Today I had 3 clearance items and was overcharged $13.00. I immediately told the cashier, but since I'd already cashed out, I had to take my receipt to customer service and take a cash back credit (I'd rather it go back on my card). No one so I asked a near by employee and they said they'd tell someone, another 5 minutes and clicking the button with speaker about assistance in my area and nothing, I asked yet another employee and waited another 5 min clicking the button and again and again the speaker asking for customer assistance.
