It happened again tonight, as it did a couple of weeks ago: DELIVERY NOT MADE, but according to the notification by the delivery driver the order was delivered. No information as to where the delivery was made and there was no contact number for the driver. Now, the real frustration begins as the number posted to call Customer Service puts Ai on the phone. Answer questions repeatedly and after wasting 10-15 minutes I'm transferred to a human being, who after another wasted 15-minutes nothing is resolved. Apparently some delivery drivers either don't speak English, can't read & comprehend instructions (Also written in English) or don't really care about customer service or delivering orders properly. I've had Walmart delivery personnel actually drop off orders outside the building complex making the order accessible to anyone walking past the building. Pure laziness. Additionally, it's not fair to customers (especially retirees) to have payments immediately taken out of bank accounts, but refunds take nearly two weeks to be refunded. Seeing as how this is a reoccurring issue with Walmart deliveries, I am cancelling my Walmart+ membership with great prejudice and will no longer shop at Walmart or pay any extra membership fees. read more

Large Walmart supercenter located in Renton. Large grocery department, fully stocked the deli and bakery department. Here you can get all your fresh fruit vegetables as well as freshly cooked to go foods. You can also come and order specialty cake, cakes, and cupcakes for every occasion. This being a superstore, you can get everything needed for your home and garden as well as Automotive section. This location also has a Charlie's restaurant indoors and vision center. Came in on a Saturday morning at 9:30, cashier stations fully attended to everyone pleasant and no lines! Of course a large parking lot with roaming security was nice. read more

Short Story: Not a bad Wal-Mart to go to... Long Story: I've been coming here for almost 30 years. This Wal-Mart has gone through lots of changes since 1997! They've expanded enormously into a Supercenter and they used to have a Sam's Club nearby (which closed down several years back) :(. The parking lot is sizeable with other shops nearby so be prepared for traffic and difficulty to find spots. The employees here are what you expect so I wouldn't put much thought into that. I came to Walmart to pick up an order and had an uncomfortable experience. There was very limited parking, and several people who appeared to be delivery drivers gathered around my vehicle and repeatedly placed their phones on the back of my car while I was waiting. I felt uncomfortable and had to ask them to move away. Customers should be able to wait for their orders without feeling crowded or harassed. Walmart text me that my order was delivered but nothing was there and the picture is blank. I tried contacting Walmart no luck AI would not do anything. today I filed the refund request some of the items had the options of missing but not all so I pick the missing parts or instructions for the most expensive items. When finishing it told me to drop the items at a Walmart, but I did not receive the items in the first place and could not update the return request. Also, I have not received a refund for the tip that I did not give and shipping. this was my third order with Walmart delivery. the first order contain food that was at room temperature when it arrived. do not use their delivery service. read more

My significant other and I have gone here quite a few times as it's the closest location to us. Overall Cleanliness: 4 Customer service: 3 Environment: 4 Value: 5 Don't have many complaints as they usually always have stuff in stock even when we go later at night. However there hasn't really been anything I would consider outstanding or above and beyond until our interaction today at around 2:20pm at the hot food counter. Customer Service We were met with a very friendly filipino father. He went above and beyond to make my significant other and I feel comfortable. He was super polite when helping us and his positive uplifting attitude brightened our day. However we once had to wait a very long time just to get an employee to open a case for us to get some MTG Cards. The employee nearby ended up having to call twice just to get someone to tend to us. But we understand that they were also very busy that day and only a few people had access to those keys. So we appreciate the employee for even remembering us and trying to radio again for us. Food We got 8-piece boneless bbq wings, Mac and cheese, potato wedges and jalapeño bites. All of it was very tasty and I highly recommend especially for the value! I wouldn't say it's like crazy good or anything but I feel it's definitely worth it for the value! Especially since it's only 97cents for a cup of any of their sides. I do recommend coming here for their hot food at least as I have always enjoyed it and believe the value is great! Cleanliness Nothing seemed too messy and I never noticed any uncleaned spills or anything so everything generally seemed pretty clean but there is slight disorganization but I don't think that's a big deal. HORRIBLE I'd do MINUS if it was an option. Online purchase defective, began return was emailed take item to ANY walmart for a refund. Chose renton WA and apparently the customer service team and "lead" they sent me instead of the MANAGER I asked to see, all parrot the same BS....If purchased 3rd party,,,,I'm like I bought it ON YOUR WEBSITE. Where does it say it was 3rd party (Got no answer) I showed them email code walmart sent ME in an email that specifically said TAKE TO ANY walmart for a refund. Wasted an HOUR waiting then customer service told me to make call to automated walmart that said OK refund is ready. Hung up went back to customer service and Nope I got same BS as before. Waited for manager got some "lead" instead and I provided my account info all things fine there verified the purchase. He also refused to step up and issue a refund for defective walmart online item purchase I and left with the defective item. Looked up my history and that item is now missing WTF!? STAY AWAY FROM OLINE walmart for sure and that store too. Employees do not understand in a "real" business the customer is always right and bottom line do what you have to do make the customer happy ESPECIALLY when the item is DEFECTIVE. ...but some Non-American "lead," isn't versed on business principles for keeping the customer a customer. Confused why we're hiring people who are unable to speak English wearing vests that say "Happy to help!" The irony is crazy. I asked a worker there for help, and she seemed confused by what I was saying, then just proceeded to continue with her inventory without acknowledgment. The bathroom is dirty. The worker that rang us up made me walk back to the aisle for another of the same product because there was no barcode, yet I'm confused as to why she didn't search up the item in the system...? Luckily enough, I am only visiting and I can safely say I greatly have more appreciation for the workers and management at my local Walmart! read more

The employees at this Walmart are some of the rudest and laziest I have ever encountered. When I asked one worker for help finding an item, they flat-out told me they couldn't help. That sums up the culture here: staff who don't care, don't try, and don't respect the customers they're paid to assist. Working retail may not be easy, but that does not justify the level of hostility and indifference shown here. You can even try to return an item that is clearly eligible for a return, and their lazy staff still won't accept it. That's not just poor service--that's blatant refusal to do their jobs. I honestly hope every single rude employee, including management, gets fired. This store needs an entirely new leadership team and ideally new ownership altogether. Right now, this is the most unorganized, dysfunctional Walmart I've ever set foot in. Expired items are left on shelves, the receipt checker is unprofessional and completely unnecessary, and the general atmosphere makes it feel like the only hiring requirement is being rude, stubborn, and lazy. Fuck this place. If I could give it negative one million stars, I absolutely would. What makes this even worse is that I've been coming here since I was a kid. Back then, I thought it was normal to be treated like garbage by employees--but now I realize it's because this store has been filled with disrespectful, miserable people for years. The people in charge of this store need to go back to manager school. what an awfully run store. They never open on time, and the employees loathe helping anyone and give dirty looks if you ask, or they ignore you or shrug and walk away. They're almost rude, defensive and aggressive about having to do customer service. The employees are constantly blocking the aisles and won't budge if you try to get by. I've had to go back down an aisle and circle around to get to the other side of them. This is consistently the worst store I've ever been in and it's always like this. How anybody could be proud to call themselves management at this place is beyond me. How anybody could be this mediocre and get hired is a mystery. If I could leave a 0 I would. I'm immensely disappointed in my cake. Last Saturday, I spoke with a woman at the bakery in regards to a custom cake for my 21st birthday. I showed her an inspo pic, but I informed her the extra decorations (glitter cherries, ribbons) I would do at home myself. She took a picture on her own phone of my inspo, and told me we could get some similar pink colors and I was ecstatic! You can only imagine the sheer displeasure when I opened the box and it was a plain iced cake and THE NUMBERS AREN'T EVENT CENTERED. Stopped by after work to make a return around 705pm since their online hours state they're open till 11pm But was told they close their Customer Service center at 7pm even though it's not listed anywhere on their site. Ok, fair enough; it was messy and they had a-lot of things to put back. Came back twice in same week at 640pm and was told each time they closed early due to "low staffing" while admitting they closed even earlier at 630pm even though they still consistently told us to come back next time before 7pm. There was even other customers there arguing about how it's unfair that they refused to help and gave false info on time. Meanwhile, they had 2 "greeters" at the door when they probably only needed 1, 2 employees leaning against the bathroom wall chatting in-front of the self-checkout section that's right in-front of the service center while another 2 were actually inside the self-checkout area assisting customers. That's 6 employees within 10 feet of each other and 2-3 with nothing to do - even so, they refused to help. 1 star bc though their service sucks, this Walmart has a decent amount of stuff stocked most times. read more

Never had an experience like this before at this store all employees were always very nice , except today a cashier African American lady was absolutely unprofessional and rude. No greeting I said hello mam is there a limit at your register, her response no limit no nothing with worst possible smrk.Following that I started organizing my veggies so they are separate from hygiene it helps her and me. Also the cashier was sitting all I did is try to help to get groceries closer so she doesn't have to lean so much and sometimes a good intention can ruin your experience with one of the amazing stores you visit . Yep, this is a real 5 star review because it is true for the Curbside Drive Up staff today, 11/27/23. I messed up when picking up my order and had to return the next day instead. Christian called me at home to say he would put it aside with a note for the staff. I called Customer Service at their 800 number twice today to see about establishing an account so I could order a few items. I didn't want to establish an account there for reasons I've shared before, but I wanted the items, so I relinquished and tried. I filled out the required fields and was required to fill in my phone number and my email address so they could send me a six digit verification code before I could establish the account. It failed. Three times. Because I had chosen on my cell phone not to receive text messages. I had given them my cell phone number and told the Cust. Service person on my first call to them today that I don't take text messages. But that's evidently where they sent my verification codes anyway. So, during my second call I finally found out that they insist on providing the verfication code by text. No other way. So, I'm now a reconfirmed non-fan of Walmart. And that's the final straw after having gone to their SuperStore three times in the past five months to get a product that has been out of stock for that long. When is enough enough? A genuine third-world experience. Messy, drab with stark cold white lighting. Bathrooms were closed due to "an emergency." It smelled like an emergency. The checkout clerks looked like they were trainees, slowly picking up items, examining them, and scanning about one every 10-15 seconds. I finally gave up and got into the slow line to the self checkout. As I did (muttering something not very polite I admit), a woman behind me laughed and said, "I know right?!" At self-checkout there were no bags. There were people with large carts of groceries and what were they supposed to do? The employees there seemed unconcerned. One asked me and other customers if I wanted I buy some fancy bags. We did not. Oh well. After I stuffed things into the holes in my pack of toilet paper and under the wrapper, I went out. At that point one older guy working there was walking away. Someone asked him where he was going. He said, "oh, I guess I should go git some more bags." (Gee, Lemuel, ya sure about that?) So the had them, they just couldn't be bothered get some till people started cursing at them? I'm not a big Walmart fan but have always found the basic services there, and basic cleanliness. This was unreal. Positive note: I did ask one guy for help finding something and he was nice and pointed me in the right direction. (After leaving my review I decided to check the other reviews. Spoke to Muhammad, Amir, then a Senior Manager Muhammad, who then made the "arrangement" to send replacement even though outside 30 day return. Did not receive confirmation email so I called again two days later and spoke to Edward then Giselle. Giselle confirmed there was nothing they can do. Acknowledged that Muhammad lied to me but sorry, there is nothing they could do. Walmart refuses to stand behind the products sold on their website and does not make it right for the customer even when a representative from their company made a commitment to resolve the issue. This is the absolute worst Walmart I have ever been to. We went here once and that will be the last. Period. The entire store is jampacked with messes, tight walkways, cart shortages, locked wheeled carts everywhere, oblivious employees, screaming kids... shall I go on? Just moved to WA, it was very nice to have a change of scenery. Store was a decent size compared to the stores I'm accustom to in CA. Seemed to offer items I did not see stocked in stores around my pevious location which I thought was awesome and odd at the same time. Must be based on types of customers and purchasing habits. Store seemed a little hectic with customers. Offered McDonald's which seems to be the standard. Also must be a high risk theft store as each door had a security guard along with a greeter. Not typical of stores in the area I was from. Other than that it's a cookie cutter walmart. Eithre way I would still recommend it for the fresh organic produce. read more
