    For a Walmart Supercenter, this store is about average. On this recent visit, everything was getting moved around, so I'll have to go back and see if I can find where anything is! It appears that they are changing the aisles to be perpendicular in relation to the front instead of when they might have been parallel before in the Home Goods side of the store.

    Over the years I have been to dozens and dozens of Walmarts, but never have I come across a store that is noticeably a cut above the rest. More specifically, the staff are just top-notch. The head of the apparel department, Maria (think that's her name), Was so kind and helpful and genuinely seemed to enjoy doing the work that she does. Not to knock Walmart in general, but you typically do not see that level of enthusiasm or intentionality from the employees. In fact, I'm hard-pressed to think of a place that rivals the customer service of this location. Most impressive.

    I sat at pickup for 41 minutes as cars came and went that showed up after me. Finding a new store. Did not seem to care.

My…read moreissue is with a fitting room policy that makes absolutely no sense from a customer's perspective. I walked into the fitting room area with three shirts. The employee counted them which is completely reasonable. Then I was told I could not enter because they were not on hangers. I explained that I picked them up from the sales floor without hangers and asked for three hangers. They gave them to me but then told me I still had to place every shirt back onto the rack outside the fitting room before I could go in. So I had to hang the shirts on the rack outside the dressing room just so I could walk inside and immediately remove them again. There was no purpose to it other than creating extra work and slowing the process down. As I was leaving I watched another customer get stopped because she had not rehung her clothing before exiting. Customers are now expected to do work that fitting room attendants have always handled. Retail stores are competing with online shopping where convenience is everything. Policies like this make the in store experience slower more frustrating and less enjoyable. I hope someone at the corporate level reevaluates whether this policy is actually helping anyone because from a customer's perspective it only creates unnecessary inconvenience.

I purchased a home in the area and the previous owner installed a beautiful chandelier that sells for $1,700 new. The chandelier does not go with our remodel so we decided to consign it with The Consignerie for $1,000 and we would get 50%. Todd wanted me to install the chandelier in his store because he did not know how to install light fixtures. I told him that I would not install it because I did not want to accept responsibility if it fell on someone/something. He hired a person to hang it. Instead of using the hardware that came with the chandelier, the hired help used his own hardware. The hardware that came with the chandelier is 2 fine threaded screws that maintain a tight fit. The installer used course threaded fasteners that resulted in a loose fit and caused the chandelier to sag. Todd thought that the crossbar bracket that came with the chandelier was weak and that the sagging was due to it bending from the weight (the chandelier weighs 43 lbs and I'm sure the designers of the chandelier appropriately designed the bracket so I'm not sure why he thought this). He took the bracket to Home Depot to find a replacement, got side tracked, and left the bracket in the shopping cart. After several days of not hearing from him, I called him to ask if the hired help was able to install the chandelier. That is when he told me that he lost the bracket. He apologized and said he would pay for the replacement. I went to about a half dozen stores to find the bracket but no one sells it. I told Todd that I could not find anyone who sells the bracket and that it is a custom made part for that chandelier. At this point he stopped replying to my texts and stopped answering my calls. Then he texted me saying that he will not accept my chandelier and that I should come pick it up. I confronted him about losing part of my chandelier and he plays if off as if the bracket was his part and that he did not lose part of my chandelier. I told him that the chandelier is worthless without that part and that we could take it to small claims court if we could not settle it ourselves. That is when he changed his tune and started looking for the bracket. Luckily, I was able to contact the manufacturer and buy the part (this is much harder and time consuming than it sounds). I went and picked up my chandelier and Todd reimbursed me (why would he pay me for the bracket if it was his bracket?). I'll give him credit that he paid me back, but only after I threatened to take him to court. He is a shady and unethical person. I have attached photos of our text exchange. My phone had this glitch where someone's response would appear above my text. That is why his "Yes Sir." text appears above my question.

    Today my son and I stopped at Five Below to shop and decided to sit in a couple of the chairs that…read morewere on display for sale so we could see how they felt before deciding whether to buy them. An employee approached us and told us we needed to move because "this area is for walking." I asked, "Where would you like us to sit instead?" She pointed to another area out of the way, so we moved without arguing. A few moments later, a manager dressed in black walked over and, in a harsh and disrespectful tone, said, "There is NO SITTING IN CHAIRS ALLOWED. Get up now!" I was stunned. These were chairs being sold to customers, yet we were treated as though we were doing something wrong simply by testing them. If customers aren't allowed to sit in furniture that's for sale, that policy should be clearly posted. More importantly, there is absolutely no excuse for speaking to customers, especially in front of their children, in such an aggressive and demeaning manner. The issue wasn't just the policy. It was the complete lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic respect. My son witnessed a manager treating his father like an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. I expect a response from store management or Five Below corporate explaining whether this is actually company policy. If it is, it needs to be clearly communicated. If it isn't, then this manager needs coaching on how to speak to customers respectfully. This experience was embarrassing, unnecessary, and completely unacceptable. I won't be returning until someone addresses how this situation was handled.
