I knew what I wanted and I found it easily. Snacks and drinks for the road, which are going to be much cheaper here in Walmart than at any convenience stores we might pass on the way. I also bought an inexpensive cooler to keep things chilled. Easy to get here with a Uhaul truck pulling a trailer and mostly easy to get back out and onto the road. The parking lot could be better lit and the cart corrals were needing some attention, but the inside of the store was in good shape when I arrived. I like shopping at Walmart for certain items not found elsewhere, but the check-out process stinks. All the check-out lines are self-check, but maybe one or two. I would prefer someone else checking fruits and heavy items. The store shelves are getting empty on frozen food lane. Not a lot of foods to choose from. They are all sold out of some. I have to go to a couple of stores to get what I need. Other than this, it's not so bad. Pharmacy needs more hands on deck. This Walmart in Pine Bluff is the WORST Walmart I've ever been to! Even the pharmacy is incompetent!!! Today, there was a cashier named Robin who yelled at me from behind the counter (where other customers were standing) that 'I can go get my prescription filled somewhere else'! I have used Walmarts order on line for groceries at the pine Bluff Ark Location twice this month. You place your order early and choose a time to pick up. Both times they send me a confirmation my order is ready for pick up. Guess what, my pick up time is 1-2. It's now 3:41. I called customer service at 2:58pm said it would be right out. My wife calls the store it will be right out. It's now 3:45 and putting groceries in car. ridiculous if I wanted to wast 3 hours I could have done the shopping myself. Clincher, I was in spot # 2 how many times did an associate walk by my car with out checking my order. Oh, I forgot I approached them an hour after being here and said I was on the bottom of the list!! GREAT SERVICE WALMART!! read more

Its the only store here to get supplies. So..it is what it is. I find it interesting that this is the only Walmart in the whole city, so wherever it relocates too, the entire city goes with it. Walmart in Pine Bluff use to be in the Pines Mall, but moved out and built its own building. Once it did that, the Pines nearly shut down completely, but Pine Bluff business all followed Walmart and next thing you know, a whole neighborhood of business appeared around it's new location. Now on the the review. The store is your typical Walmart, but caters to the Pine Bluff lifestyle. I found that many things are a bit cheaper than in Houston, but the sales taxes in Pine Bluff makes it overall more expensive. There is nothing WOW about his place. Same type of dry service as with most Walmarts. If the item you are looking for isn't common in the area of Pine Bluff, then rest assure you are going to spend a few extra bucks for it. They do have plenty of Razorback stuff so if you are there to visit, you may want to stop by and pick up some gear from here. read more

Today I was there picking up a variety of items. The greater at the door with the veteran cake was very nice. I believe her name was Ashley. One of the stockers directed me to bread crumbs. I got to the check out and that person must have been having a bad day. I told her thank you and she said "Ua hun". Wal Mart has most of the things we need but a sorry attitude is just unacceptable when you deal with the public. This was no young person she was old enough to at least thank me for doing business with Wal Mart and helping pay her wages. Have a nice day. read more

Stopped here on a road trip to stretch our legs and get a couple things. The employees were very friendly. The store was clean, organized and well stocked. Only about 60% of the Halloween clearance was price labeled but that's no biggy and didn't stop us from loading up! read more

The only time the shelves are packed and all items available are on the first of the month after that you gotta go elsewhere if you want something. A lot of times you get to see the underwear of the week from the stockers as they wear their pants low on the butt cheeks and I do believe they call it sagging. I call it nasty as I don't want to see their underwear and the worst part is that management sees this and does nothing about it even when it is brought to their attention. So now I rarely go into the Walmart on Olive I use Super 1 and Cranford's. Most of the employees think they are doing you a favor by getting items you ask for and checking out so now I use the Kiosk and do the self check out, I don't need any cashier. Granted there are some super employees at this store but not many most act like they are uneducated and plain old street people. read more

The store is usually clean, but most of the people who work there are either mean or just don't want to be there. They are unhelpful and in some cases extremely uneducated. One cashier had no idea what the names of the vegetables I was buying were (celery, lettuce, red onion....) Often under stocked. Hardly more than 3 lines open at any given time. On a good note, it's likely to have things that other grocery stores do not. read more

Okay, it seems they hire 2 types of employees here -- really pleasant, helpful people and trailer trash/ratchets. I hate to say that, but it is what it is. In the past 3 visits I've had a girl forget to put an item in my bags; a few outstandingly helpful employees (I think they may be college students from UAPB), and a fat white girl who sighed and rolled her eyes because she had to (horrors!) check me out. She was absolutely unhelpful, acted like she was really put out I had shelving on my cart (even though I turned it so she could more easily access the UPC), and then stared (sighing) while I struggled to move it (by myself) to the lower level of my cart. Wow. This was last Sunday that I had to deal with Slovenly McBadAttitude, and I bought a scented wax warmer. The first one I picked up was opened, so I looked it over and the bulb was broken. Dangerous! I picked up a factory sealed warmer and purchased it. I got it home and. . . the bulb was shattered. It was still wrapped in plastic inside, much like the one on the shelf. It looks like someone returned the first one I picked up because it had a broken bulb -- and they just stuck it back on the shelf. The one I bought is still wrapped in plastic, but the bulb is shattered. I'm returning, and I hope they dispose of it, rather than sticking it back on the shelf. read more

Went to get a tire patched. Should have gone to the Benton store. The cashier was rude. Waited about an hour and asked about my car, and she said I had only been there for 5 minutes. Learned my lesson, I will travel the extra time and mileage to get treated nicely and with respect. There is no excuse for rudeness and I blame the management for this failure. They just don't care about anything but their paychecks and it shows. read more

This was such a better place when it was a cow pasture/pecan grove. I asked an employee where a certain item was located. She never slowed up walking and answered me through her mask facing away and retreating. I don't know...maybe break time? Anyway, I couldn't understand her so I had to redouble my efforts and find the item myself. I don't even bother with checkers anymore. They almost all act like I'm bothering them to do their job and I haven't been thanked for spending my hard-earned money in their store in many years. I really don't know why this bothers me so bad. I bought 2 tires tires on April 15 2017 and 2 more on April 23 2017 I paid for lifetime balance. In April 2018 I had them. June 22 2019 I went to have them balanced again THEY SAID MY WAS TO HEAVY and would not do it. The people were rude and wouldn't listen. This Pine Bluff, AR Wal Mart store is not all that!!! Some times it is a pleasure to shop there but around special holidays it looks like a five and dime store. They put so much merchandise in the aisles people can hardly pass granted it may boost the sales a little but all that aisle clutter people have a hard time manuvering the aisles and add a shopping basket to the equation and you now have a night mare. And yes most of the time you cannot find what you are looking for and some Wal Mart employees will go above and beyond to assist you and others act like they are doing you a favor just to talk to you!!! I now split my shopping between Brookshire's and Wal Mart. If I feel like going for a road trip I will go to the Sheridan Wal Mart, the store is 100% more cleaner than the PB Wal Mart and all the employees are willing and eager to assist a customer unlike the Pine Bluff store. Granted some of the stock personnel in PB will assist a customer and I would say 1 in 5 will help. The cashiers about 2 in 5 will go above and beyond. Even though they have changed managers at the Pine Bluff store it still sucks!!! The only time the shelves are packed to capacity with all the products they are suppose to have is on the 1st and 15th of the month. The rest of the time the shelves are mostly empty.....I really hate Wal Mart!!!!! I'm gald the city of White Hall will not allow them to build in their city as all they do is bring the neighborhood down due to their building a store then closing it to open a "Super Wal Mart" while the old store just sits empty for years. If Wal Mart were to go out of business tomorrow I for one would not miss it. read more

I go to Dollar Stores to keep from going there and after last night,,,, I'm not ever going there again!!! I was waited on by the rudest "associate" in the order pickup section. The store has the same thing as every other Walmart. The reason I'm giving 2 stars is because their employees appear to hate their job & customers. This became very apparent when we were checking out... the young lady had her light on but her lane closed sign up so we asked if she was open and all she did was give us a grunt with a head nod then walk back to her register. The only thing she said to us while we were checking out was the amount due and that didn't even have a smile. We got back to where we were staying and discovered we were missing a bag. The earlier trip to that store was so unpleasant I just chalked off my loss because it wasn't worth going back to get the bag & deal with a bunch of grumpy employees. Next time I'll just go to a gas station for my items. read more
