Unlike Lowe's or Home Depot, this is a full-service hardware: customers walk up to the counter to ask for the items they need. The customer service representatives will ask questions about the job to ensure you're buying the right tools for the job, and then you follow them through the store as they pick up the items, checking to make sure you're getting the right thing. I've never had to return anything. They also have a full range of services: knife sharpening, key copies, propane exchange, carpet cleaner rental, and ice. I do wish they could extend their Saturday hours and allow their employees Sunday and Monday off...that would mean a lot to those of us who work 8-5 M-F. Also, I know the first reviewer. He has some issues.

I was hesitating to proceed with my projects since I can never catch anyone in the cabinet dept. I have a friend that word at Lowes in Tx and she was helping me with my cabinet renderings, etc. She reached out to the cabinet guy in my closer Lowes, his name is Tyler. We got as far as me PAYING for someone to come measure my 4 bathrooms and large kitchen for cabinets. After that, we could never reach anyone. I wanted to make an appointment to meet with the cabinet person to look at things in person. I could never reach him. The phone tree is horrendous. AI kept describing cabinets as if I would purchase based on that!!! I had to scream for an live agent no less than SEVEN times before I got transferred. Then it rang for 10 times before I got the main desk. They told me Tyler was not working that day, but we set up an 'appointment' for the following week. Before I left, I called. I did not want to waste my trip, as I live an hour away. Again, the fiasco with the phone tree. Finally got to the front desk. I was told he was not working. Not surprised. They were going to transfer me to his manager, she was busy with customers, could I call back. I said no, explaining the painful process, could she please take my number and have the manager call me. I was told, "no, she is too busy with customers." I said well then you are too busy for my business, we are done, you have lost a customer. I informed my TX contact of this situation and she said to contact corporate. I did so via email about 2 weeks ago. Crickets! This store SUCKS!
