I was so upset I begin to cry. I gave him an ear full to say the least. I told him I shop there all the time, I live 3 blocks from your other store, but I love this one, because the people are so so nice. I had knee replacement surgery before the holiday and they are always so nice, even the young men that bring my groceries to the car. I told him it's just my husband and I what are we going to do with a brisket. That thing was long as my arm. I told him if it wasn't getting dark, I would have bought it back last night. I'm on my way to Court and didn't know what time we would be through today. We finished about 1 p.m. and he came up to office and was so kind. He said he couldn't take the meat back, and he was giving me a $30 gift card. I said it cost $40.86. We couldn't eat that much meat in a month. He gave me my money back, the card and the meat. I still don't know what we're going to do, I guess the husband will have a field day on the grill. lol. Can someone please call or write him and compliment him. You don't get recognized for the good things a lot of times, only the bad. If I had Facebook, I would do it. Thank you. If I wrote this much, imagine the poor guy having to listen. Remain safe.

I don't care that the clerk was surly when I walked in, or that she stink of cigarette smoke to the point it permeated the front of the store. What really rubbed me wrong was her attitude. I grabbed a Monster energy drink from a display showing $1.75 from September 20-October 17. She rang it at $2. I politely stated it was on sale. She responded, "Well, it rang at $2." I offered to show her the display. She gives a deep sigh and rolls her eyes. Once she saw it was $1.75, she got foot stompy on her way back to the register. She made a production of keying it in at the advertised price. While I was swiping my card, keying in my PIN, etc, she kept tapping her fingers to indicate how much of a burden this was for her. When I was done, she glared and thrust the receipt at me. No "Sorry for the confusion." No "Thank you." Just surly, bitter attitude. I normally don't do the surveys on the receipt but you can bet I did today. As a side note, she could conveniently did not have a name tag on.

The parking lot was very crowded except for the six empty spaces directly in front of the store. Online shoppers can park anywhere because they are not getting out of their cars. The grocery staff is going to bring their order to their vehicle. I left the store and went to Brookshires to purchase my groceries because they don't have such an asinine parking arrangement. The store manager or whoever else made this decision needs to wake up and get their priorities straight. I'm sure that walk-in customers far outweigh online customers. When this situation changes. I will consider shopping there again. Until then, my business goes elsewhere.
