Sometimes you just need to grab a few things. Sometimes people beg for money or sell things like tamales in front of the doors of this store. A popular yogurt brand that I buy was outdated on the shelf. This Walmart feels totally cramped and smooshed together. Once you finally go to checkout, you can wait in a huge line at either self checkout or a single cashier lane. Many of the people who work as cashiers and supervise the self checkouts are terribly unhelpful and rude. Some of the other people who work here can be nice, but it can be a frustrating experience to shop here. read more

I went in to find kitchen utensils not found in grocery store. Very busy with long check out lines but efficient. Credit cards preferred there was no change if cash used and they round up your change to dollars sadly. I attempted to return a propane tank with a defective valve to the Park City, Utah Walmart Supercenter. I did not try to use the tank until 7/14/2024 although purchase was made 6/9/2024. Manager refused to exchange the tank because purchase was made over 7 days prior. Signage at the exchange desk says exchanges can be made within 90 days with or without a receipt (I did have a receipt). This product is not only defective but potentially dangerous and I am now stuck with a full tank that cannot be used. Do not purchase anything from Walmart that you do not intend to use or test within 7 days. read more

I tried 7 times to reach an employee via phone. Each phone call was 4-5 minutes long. I never got through! Had to contact corporate to complain. I called the phone number listed on the walmart website for this store 435-647-9909 (https://www.walmart.com/store/1827-park-city-ut) I pressed "0" for the store operator. The phone rang for 4 minutes and 1 second. Then I heard someone pick up the phone and heard: beep, beep, beep. I said "Hello? hello?" and a female voice on the other end said "hello?" then she hung up on me! I called back and this time pressed "8" for human resources. I have been listening to a phone ring for 4:10 seconds. ANSWER YOUR PHONE! I called back a third time and tried the pharmacy. This time at least a human answered, but unfortunately that person said nothing but "hello, hold please, thank you" then immediately put me on hold. I understand you get busy, but this is unprofessional to the point of being ridiculous. You need to answer your phones! Called back a 4th time. The phone rang for 5 mins and 25 seconds, then disconnected me. What is your store policy on being available to callers?! Called back a 5th time and was disconnected after listening to the phone ring unanswered for 5 mins and 15 seconds. Had to contact Walmart Corporate to file a complaint. I hope the employee(s) who are refusing to answer customers' calls lose their jobs. Called a 6th time and pressed "5" for Electronics. Same results as before. Phone rang incessantly then automatically disconnected me after 5 mins and 27 seconds. Called a 7th time and pressed "8" for HR. Same results as before. Phone rang incessantly then automatically disconnected me after 5 mins and 32 seconds. Do I need to call the Park City Police to do a welfare check?! Is there an active shooter?! Shitty walmart. Scanned $110 worth of groceries at the self checkout, inserted card, said approved and remove card. Terminal then began to load to print receipt and had an error. Associate said around this time the terminals go down sometimes and that the transaction was canceled and to try the regular check out lane. To which they had 1 regular check out lane open which was 6 people deep with full carts. Bank account shows I was charged for original transaction though. Waited in line another 30 mins to repay. Will dispute charges. Morale of the story, don't come here late at night because they have 1 lane open and nobody working. read more

This is the worst Walmart I have ever seen. I travel around the USA by Winnie and I have seen a lot of Walmarts. The Walmart in Park City, Utah is very troubled. The employees are angry and hostile toward customers, and they do not speak English. A female Hispanic employee was openly agitated that I decided not to buy some clothing items and her agitation when she approached to pick up the rejected clothing items was quite obvious. That was this evening. Two days ago I went in to buy a printer and the (Hispanic male) employee told me to go to Staples because Walmart sold only photo copiers, to create photographs. I pointed out to him that the items on the shelf specifically were for home offices, and this included HP and other brands of printers which were also copiers and scanners and said for OFFICE use right on them. This employee was actively chasing off customers, showing no concern whatsoever for Walmart's customers or profits. I do not know who is the CEO of Walmart today but he or she is missing the boat on a fundamental level - the fact that Walmart employees are so ignorant, incompetent, and exhibit bullying behavior toward customers proves this. read more

Where do I even start, Walmart used to be great. Prices consistently marked wrong, ring up way higher than advertised price. Customer service is non existent, they don't answer phone calls for product availability. Sometimes it is worth paying more for the same thing. Normally, this is not the case, but this Walmart demonstrates just proves that this can be the case because it is worth cold hard cash to avoid having to deal with Supervisor level and above employees at this Walmart. From Jason Spatz, the Store Manager who, according to two separate Park City Walmart coaches, says the store does not need to abide by the promises made on the Walmart app and website, to Marvin and Yiemy, those Front End Coaches (people who coach lower level employees on how to interact with customers) who are rude and simply make up things to tell you (i.e., lie to your face), you are much better off paying a little more and avoiding this store if at all possible. read more

I made over 10 online purchases in the last 4 months and I have yet to receive an order that has not been "lost" or "delayed" for weeks, If you don't spend hours on the phone trying to get refunds for the items that never arrived they just don't refund you. The roommate's family wanted to stop by Walmart to pick up some snacks and games. We dropped by on Sunday, December 6th around 12:15pm. We were doing a game night every night while on vacation, so the roommate and his brother wanted to buy some games. We ended up buying Quelf, which is actually really fun. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a new board game. We also bought Heads Up, but never really played it as it's not a competitive game. Maybe if you break up into teams and play that way, but the way the instructions sound, you are helping a person guess correctly. How does anyone win that way?! I need me a winner! We also got some food and snacks. The roommate's patents bought a chicken, a salad, and some salad dressing, while us youngins bought a bunch of junk food. Walmart's selection of snacks wasn't as varied as I'm used to. Where was my Fritos fake cheese dip?! They did have the normal cheddar cheese and sour cream Ruffles, flaming hot Cheetos, Beef jerky, etc, so at least I found all that. For a Walmart Supercenter, I expected them to carry more variety. Still, a good place to shop if you're in the area. And I believe they're open 24 hours. read more

Why all the hate for this Wal-Mart? It's actually a pretty nice store. They recently renovated it last year so the once tiny Wal-Mart is now a 'Supercenter' with a really nice grocery store attached. It's well organized and clean. Nobody LIKES going to Wal-Mart but we all wind up there for something at some point, and this one isn't as bad as far as Wal-Marts go. The lines usually move quickly (if there's even a line at all) and there merchandise selection is pretty big (lots of different brands / choices in all departments). They have a special Park City souvenir section too in case you are visiting and want to pick up a postcard, keychain, ski jacket, etc. read more

I would like to brag on your auto tire employees. I was driving through your town today and discovered that I had a tire that was losing pressure fairly rapidly. Not knowing the town well I pulled into another tire center that quite arrogantly told me that it would be an hour before they could get to me. So, I left there and I pulled up to the tire center at Walmart and was 2nd or 3rd inline there as well. However, by this time, the tire was very low so I was stuck there. The tire tech came out, noticed that it was only a valve stem leak, and had it replaced within mere minutes. KUDOS to the high-quality, customer-oriented personnel this store has in that department. Was trying too buy a bunch of jewelry right now and needed the jewelry counter sales associate--whose whole job is to unlock the jewelry cases to assist me with exactly that. She was so busy trying to fix her own watch though that she ignored me when I asked for help. I asked again, she told me she was too busy and I should go do some other shopping & come back when it's more convenient for her. Forget that. I left-- why even have a person there if she's not going to unlock the case. It would've take five seconds. I guess her watch was broken though so she couldn't understand that--or how long she kept me waiting for no reason.Never going to a Walmart again --this was the last straw. read more

The pharmacy is horrible! They are slow - refills never seem to be refilled - never notified when an RX is ready. Super insanely slow, and bizarre hours. I'm giving the store a 3 only because of the constant price gouging at the registers. This store is awesome as far as having everything your need and looking for but be careful and attentive as the cashiers are highly trained to prey on the the tourist shoppers at check-out, especially during Sundance Film Festival where if you don't pay attention to the scanning of all your products at the register, you will be double & triple charged for single items and often items you don't even have and/or have chosen. Small amounts but it adds up. Pay attention, otherwise I love this store. read more

Yikes this Walmart is dirty and confusing. Everything seems out of place, & the shelves are dirty with mismatched items. Though this is considered a super center they don't have nearly as many products as what I'm used to in my "normal" Walmart down in the valley.
