We are on vacation in Florida for my birthday and went shopping to Walmart to pick up some things we would need throughout our time on the trip. We bought blueberry munchkins from their bakery department. I went to have one and FOUND A PIECE OF HARD PLASTIC (almost like glass) that was pointy on all ends. I felt something hard when I chewed, which is why I didn't swallow it, but if I did it could have seriously injured me. They need to be more careful when baking that nothing gets into the food!!! read more

I generally avoid Walmart unless it's after 1am on a weekend and I'd like to do some people watching. But, I popped in here on a weekday afternoon to get a critical item that Target didn't have. I needed a refrigerator/freezer thermometer to confirm if our freezer was truly warmer than usual. There are a zillion aisles so I figured I'd find the thermometer in an hour or so. But, as luck would have it, it was right there in the first aisle I walked down. Bam! In and out! Life is good even if our freezer is on the fritz! read more

This is absolutely the worst Walmart I had just bought a battery at the Clearwater, supercenter that happened to be a bad battery and they didn't have anymore at that store so I went to the Palm Harbor store. I did find a battery there but they would not honor the other battery that I was trying to return And I just bought it a couple hours ago so I got the manager and she just threatened to kick me out of the store, but since I needed a battery, I bought one so now I have two batteries I put one in my son's car and then I had to return to the other Walmart to return the first battery. The manager at the Palm Harbor store made fun of the Clearwater, store for selling bad batteries and I said aren't you guys like one big huge Walmart don't you wanna make Sam Walton proud but when I got threatened to get kicked out, I had to purchase one !what a terrible manager!!! read more

I went today and I got some groceries and things of that nature and then when I get home I found out that half the stuff I had bought I did not get therefore I'm out of the money. Won't accept manufactures coupons that are put on their product. If it doesn't scan we can't take it. That's management decision. This happened twice. If it doesn't scan you still should honor it if you or have the attached coupons removed. That's false advertising. My adult child works part-time at this Walmart store. He/she contracted cv19 likely at work. The policy starting April 1, 2022 is to require a lab test (not a home test) to prove you have cvid. Once the store has proof you can take a few days off with no pay. The test is not covered by Walmart. My child was forced to pay $189 for the test or lose his/her job. This represents 2 days of work for her/him. The other choice was to come into work with cvid. I consider this to be a shameful policy. read more

Employees were out in the parking lot picking up trash to make it look better. Another employee was at the front door to greet me with a very nice smile. Three staff members at the self service cash register area helped me find pool supplies. Unfortunately, Halloween and Christmas decorations have taken up most of the back area where the pool supplies are located. I was not able to find the hose I needed for my pool. It's available online and in the store, but I needed it now and this store didn't have it. That's why I'm giving Walmart four stars today. They usually have good stock at fair prices with friendly, efficient staff. But today I left without buying anything. I was disappointed and frustrated. read more

Walmart has now gotten rid of almost all of their checkers and has replaced it with self check out. The level of customer service has greatly decreased at the store. Just tried to go shopping and was about run over by four employees at different times as they were moving their stock around. When I went to check out, I had no option but self check out. I will never do self check out at any store because that takes away from a job that a person can have. So I left all of my groceries in the cart and walked out. The level of concern from anybody in that store was zero. This is not to mention the two times I had to crawl on top of their shelves to reach something because nobody would answer when I asked a question or when I requested help. do not ever shop at the store again read more

A Walmart is a Walmart. The differences between them are in the inventory choices, service, appearance, and conveniences. This store was upgraded but it still doesn't enhance my shopping experience. It hits you as soon as you walk in! Some of the staff look less than welcoming and radiate it! The lighting in the store is depressing. The decided Subway choice was their way to go as opposed to the dark side of caffeine. The inventory has holes in it. When I asked about an item offered at another store, I stared into "dead eyes!" They didn't mention you could order it online and pick it up at the store! Despite this store's shortcomings, "seek and ye shall find!" If you are an educated consumer, you will find the lowest market pricing in certain food and retail items. The bottom line? I prefer the real "Superstores" in Oldsmar and Clearwater off US19. read more

This location used to be really good. It's horrible. Very difficult to find what you need, you are all over the place to find something. I don't mind Walmart super centers. This is a smaller version of the one on SR 54 and larger than the one closer to me at Tarpon Road. I stopped tonight to go through the clearance items. I always enjoy seeing what remains after the Christmas Vultures have picked through the day after. Tonight, I managed to score quite a bit of Hard Candy makeup for a decent price. This means my Neice's 15th Birthday present is already taken care of. SCORE. The store itself is rather ... well.. Always in a state of being stocked. That's not to say it's stocked at all. There are always people with pallets, in the isles. They tend to be in the way and under foot. Generally, it's an annoyance, but they're polite and they move quickly to get out of your way if you're looking for something. The electronics area is the biggest mess. The husbeastie likes to dig through the stuff there, so I leave that for him. Me, I used to like to go through their clothes, but not so much any more. read more

I've grown up in Palm Harbor and have frequented this location hundreds of times. I love the staff. I'm used to seeing my usuals but there is a big overturn like anywhere else. Ordered our bicycles from here as we are snow birding and want to use the trail across the road from us. We waited almost one week for them to get the bikes in. Took another 2 days for assembly. Upon delivery they looked good. But you never know until you get them out on the road. Loaded them up and took them home. My chain was off but it went on easily. The chain was not very lubed so I need to work on that. Took them on their inaugural ride and they both did a fine job. Mine is slightly noisy in 16-20 but for what I paid I won't complain. Customer service was great to work with and friendly. Easy pick up as I had my bar code and receipt. They did ask for my ID to make sure the right person was picking the items up. Staff offered to help me get them to my car and even offered to help me load them up. Well done. read more

This is one BIG store. I won't go into their inventory, as it is quite extensive? This store does not seem to have enough staff, which makes a quick visit almost impossible. As a rule of life, I tend to not frequent the large discount retail giants. I have no desire to peruse every aisle or look at all items. On some items there is significant savings, a particular vitamin supplement is literally $10.00 cheaper than Wallgreens, for that I will make the trip to a Walmart. This particular Walmart, I seem to find parking a bit easier, locating items quicker & checkout a somewhat faster, thus for the infrequent visit I find it more conducive to my mental health. People talk about the great prices, sure I see savings, but you need to know your prices. Just because it's at a discount store does NOT mean all prices are lower. I am all for saving money, but at what personal expense? Typically I leave after spending too much wasted time, feeling frustrated, irked, abused & downright angry, not a mental space I want to be. Overall, I have had fewer problems with this location. What's a girl to do? I am a grab & go type of person & Walmart just isn't built for that. read more

I'm am very disappointed in my "neighborhood" Walmart. I was sent from the Pinellas park store up here for a car battery replacement because they had one in stock. I went to service center but their test equipment was possibly broken (they didn't even try and they weren't sure if it was even broken) They wouldn't honor the warranty because they couldn't appropriately test it. Shame on the manager of this store for not doing the right thing. I wasted an hour of my day because of their lack of customer service. read more

Seriously this has to be one of the worst Wal-Marts in the area. The stock is always low and the lacking customer service of Walmart is almost non-existent at this store. This store is also strangely laid out. There is only one main entrance and getting in and out of the parking lot can be a pain. If you want to get treated like a piece of trash from the night manager Shaun then this is where you shop! What trash they have working here. I bring a car battery 1 year old with a 5 year warranty and my receipt. Paperwork showing the Chevy dealer tested it and said it's bad, paper from advance auto in Dunedin saying it's bad. With pictures and paperwork. But Shaun says it's good and he won't swap it because his front desk girls and who no offense couldn't figure out which side is the positive or negative side to run the battery test on and didn't know how to even operate the machine gives me a little print out and says it's good. So the car won't start because the battery is defective and swollen. The dealer said it's bad, the auto parts store says it's bad, but Walmart says my $120 battery with a 5 year warranty and papers with it is good. Bottom line the guy wouldn't take it back. With receipt and all. WhT a waist. read more

This has got to be the Walmart of all walmarts. There are Walmart people and then there are the inhabitants of this wretched slop hole. There is a sense of filth in the air the second you walk in this place. The staff are the least professional and the cashiers are the most unfriendly people. Jane at register 1 is having a yelling conversation with Bobby Sue at register 7 with a line of customers waiting. The shelves are poorly stocked and rarely do they have anything I need. The only reason I enter this American treasure is because they manage to keep the lowest prices on certain items and its within walking distance to my home. Needless to say if they shut this rap trap down I wouldn't be torn up over it. read more

I am fairly new to Walmart (approximately six months) and I am pleasantly surprised by the consistently courteous and friendly check-out staff. They thoughtfully and carefully pack the groceries in the cloth bags that I bring. They are attentive to me and the items that are being checked out rather than checking their phone or gossiping with other employees. The product assortment is fairly diverse. There are more and more organic and healthy food choices. Most prices are competitive with nearby stores. I also find that most of the customers are considerate and courteous. All of this is a dramatic contrast to the dominate grocery chain in this area (Publix). read more
