They have your typical mall stores along with the typical food court. It's not an upscale mall with upscale stores! If you're looking for upscale stores I suggest going to Tampa International Mall. The anchor stores are JC Penny, Macys and Dillards. I ran into Dillards to pick something up and Dillards was nice. The one thing I found interesting was that they had a full size ice skating rink in this mall. It seemed busy with lots of kids skating. In addition to the food court, there are several restaurants located here. Cheesecake Factory, PF Chang's, Red Robin, BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. Parking was easy enough when I went.

I'm not able to go as much as I'd like, but a visit here at Christmastime is always quite enjoyable! This mall still has a decent occupancy rate, an acceptable food court, several sit-down dining options, a nice movie theater, and even an ice skating rink. The attached Whole Foods is also a plus, IF you can afford shopping there! (I always look online at their weekly sales items before I visit). Since so many of our former indoor malls have been converted to outdoor "strip malls," I'm very glad Countryside has so far survived the preference for online shopping and still exists!

Right now they have a BOGO where you pay the $25 to skate and get to return the next day between 12-5 at no extra cost. The Whole foods is another plus, but you have to go out the side entrance to have access. It would've been nice if the mall had an entry from inside. An obvious issue I noticed during my most recent visit, was the lack of guests not wearing masks. By my estimate, about a quarter of the guests had no mask on. When approaching a Mall Security Guard about this, he said this being enforced. Meanwhile, a group walks right by with no mask in sight. This is unfortunate.

I had a fantastic meal at Hurricane Eddie's--the steak and fries were cooked perfectly, and the drinks were top-notch. I also stopped by Kaia Bowls a couple of mornings for their açaí bowls, and they were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and a great way to start the day. We couldn't resist Mint Fox Cookies and Ice Cream either, and I'm glad we didn't--it was the perfect treat. The plaza also has a Stix Billiards and Arcade upstairs, which looked like a great place to hang out, along with several other retail shops to browse through. Next time I visit, I definitely want to check out the Comedy Club--it looked like a lot of fun. Overall, Pelican Walk Plaza is a lively, walkable destination with a great mix of food, fun, and shopping. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

There are a couple of clothing stores and two bars. The most unique offering is the Hulk Hogan memorabilia store - hence the Hulk Hogan statue out front. A plaza in dire need of a facelift for sure, but houses some good eats!…read more I don't know the history of this plaza, but it reminds me of one that probably has a Zayre or Ames in it back in the 70s and 80s. Then, after the main department store closed up, the place fell into disrepair. So yeah, from the street, it ain't much to look at. It is, however, home to some tasty places. Cricketer's British fare, Sandbar Grill, Umai Japanese and pizza. In addition, the Bayshore Breeze gas station has ridiculous hot & cold subs and a Dunkin Donuts inside. Around back, there is an awesome dive bar called Commodore's Yacht Club, just in case Cricketer's is too upscale for your liking. Aside from eating, there is a great bike shop and a Dollar General that always has good prices on domestic beer.

There is street parking or a garage. I parked in the garage for the first time. It was $5 for the first hour and $2 for every half hour after and you paid upon exit based on how long you stayed. They have many restaurants but most of those were closed when we went on August 12th around noon. We end up in a tea store that it was open and it was amazing.

Avoid this garage for July 4th or any large event…read more Parking in was easy we found a spot on the 5th floor. Getting out was a nightmare. We were back to our car within 15 minutes after the fireworks ended and were trapped inside the garage for over 2 hours without moving. A group of us walked down to see what was causing the delay. This was the only garage completely backed up, with only about 3 cars exiting every 3 minutes. The exit feeds onto a small one-lane side street, and there was no police or traffic control to keep cars moving. Meanwhile, the garages across the street were emptying in an organized fashion. By the time we finally got out, the roads were completely clear. The exit design is terrible, and the QR code payment system only makes it worse. Having to create an account, enter your credit card and license plate, and pay as you exit is a terrible system for major events. Payment should be handled before exiting so traffic can flow freely. There are plenty of other garages nearby. I'd gladly park 5-10 minutes farther away than ever use this garage again for a holiday or major event. Save yourself the frustration and park elsewhere.

Lots of small specialty stores, including Hallmark, a liquor store, ColdStone creamery and others. The plaza also includes a lot of eateries, on the perimeter there is a Burger Fi, Steak n Shake, Chili's, Starbucks, Panera, Chick-fil-a. In the plaza its self you've got ZimZury, Craft Street kitchens, a Thai eatery, Christo's cafe and a few other ones just off the top of my head. The plaza is large, it has ample parking and lots to do. It's one of my favorite places to go.

I had passed it many times on 54 & never noticed all of the shops nestled off the main road. It is not a mall, as it is not enclosed with indoor stores. Instead it is a huge L shaped stop center with a little of everything, including the only Target I have seen in New Port Richey. I went there to give my scheduled blood donation, to the big red bus & stayed to check out the shops & restaurants. Overall it was a win, win afternoon. What's a girl to do? Donate blood regularly & score on the new surroundings.
