For anyone thinking about placing an order from this Walmart, I recommend thinking about the decision and consider wasting a significant amount of time without getting what you ordered. From rude employees to incompetent management, this Walmart is extremely appalling. Not one person here takes their job seriously, and the outsourced customer service is not helpful at all. It may take 10 minutes to place and order and charge you, but getting what you ordered is a completely different story and will take several hours to address and correct. read more

I usually loathe going within 100ft of a WalMart. I was dragged here by mom to get a handful of groceries. My first indication that this might be enjoyable was the garden center with actual plants and employees actually present to help. This Walmart had more employees working than I've ever seen in a Walmart! Mom got the groceries she needed and I went to the soft drink isle for a can of tea. I can't believe they had a good selection of Liquid Death teas and the peaches and cream Ryel tea I like! No Walmart in Orlando has this! The only Walmart's I have an issue with are in New York and maybe Kissimmee, but this Lake Nona Walmart is all that. So I haven't been to this Walmart before and I need to stop and get a couple things before I head over to a friends house. Let me tell you normally Walmart or the one that's by my house of 192 looks like a tornado ran through it all the time 24 seven; this Walmart is so clean you could if you wanted to lick the floor. The bathrooms in this Walmart did not smell and were very clean I was honestly shocked. I did grab a couple items today. I really like the Walmart version of the pimple patch besides from the brands that everyone else has. I grabbed two packets of those. I then grabbed at some native body wash; and the scent Keylime and sugar and it smells like a Keylime pie. Next I grabbed some Slippy socks for a dollar. I also grabbed a pack of the starburst sour gummy's, and last but not least I grabbed myself a can of the peaches and cream Ollie pop. I believe my total for today was around $24. Do you haven't been here I definitely recommended it is the super Walmart they have a Home in pharmacy section, a grocery, a lawn and garden section however I am unsure if they have a liquor store though. If you haven't been to this Walmart it is located in the Lake Nona area off of Narcoossee Road. 10/10 read more

This is a great location being that they sell groceries and more. You can mostly find everything you need in here. The staff is very nice here as well. I have never had an issue at this Walmart location. And it does get busy sometimes but there's always someone to open the lane. read more

You're very typical walmart, there's not much to say about this one. Whenever I am here it is absolutely insanely busy however I will say that the workers always seem to be keeping their cool making sure all of the aisles are stocked with everything that is needed to be on the shelves. I do like that they have basically everything I can think about needing and for the most part when I have talked to the workers here they are friendly and will show me exactly where the item that I am looking for is. Prices are good and I do like that I am able to get a bigger amount of items here for less of a cost than other stores and markets in the area. One of my favorite things about this location is the insanely large two aisle clearance section located in the back. I have have found some very good gardening items or car accessories that I have wanted but did not want to spend the full price on! I also love that they have self checkout kiosks because when this police gets busy the lines for check out are unbearably long and I love being able to just scan my stuff at my own speed and get out of there without having to stand around and wait too long! The store is always clean and I love how spacious and well lit it is and these are some of the reasons that I come back here whenever I am in the area visiting family! read more

Ok, Time to update my review as my review during Covid really slammed them for funneling all the people into one of the entrances for "social distancing". That didn't make sense. It's still not up to par with the 5 star place it was when it first opened, but it's still a pretty good Walmart (some may say that's an Oxymoron). This Supercenter is further than the one near the house but is much more pleasurable to visit. It lost that new "mart" smell but still delivers as a good destination. The grocery section is nicely kept with wide aisle and a whole wall of cold reach-in fridges. Electronics, Auto Supplies, Sporting Goods, Lawn and Garden, Home, and other mini-departments are all distinct and well stocked. Sure, they run out of things at times, but that happens everywhere. They do a good job at keeping the store full. It sits behind a bunch of other stores and restaurants in Lake Nona and if you didn't know it was there, you'd never turn in. If you turn in too soon or too late (depend on which direction you're going), you should be able to weave your way in without going back out to Lake Nona Blvd., which can be a PITA. read more

Yesterday (1/10/21) upon arrival, we were asked to wait outside a bit as they were actively managing the number of people in the store which immediately put me at ease. This place is increasable. It's simply massive! The parking lot was clean and packed, as they all usually are. They have the usual departments, but on steroids: auto care service center, pharmacy, gardening center, grocery store, paint and hardware section, beauty salon, vison center, crafts and sewing, photo center, electronics, toys, houseware, beer-wine and spirits, and even a health food restaurant(?). Go figure. I went in for one item, and ended up wondering the entire store to see what all they had. I will drive a few extra miles to make this my Walmart. read more

We stopped in here our first night in town. The kids had some money burning a hole in their pockets and they wanted to get a toy on vacation. We came in around 7:30-8pm on a Saturday night and I was shocked how crowded this place was. We made our way over to he toy department and honestly, the kids had a tough time finding something. Selection wasn't the greatest and everything was way overpriced. I mean, $10+ for even the crappiest toy. Ugh. Then we checked out the deodorant aisle and about 70% of the inventory was empty. Lastly, we went to the grocery side for only 1 thing. Positive is that they had the product I needed, negative is that they only had ONE of the product I needed. Would have loved a couple of them. So we make our way up to the check out with our measly 3 items. What we found was a self checkout line that had to be 25+ deep. It headed towards produce and then wrapped down the main aisle alongside the Women's clothing. Ugh. Once we got a bit closer to the front, LUCKILY a worker saw how little we had and let us go through an express "scan and go" line. This saved us at least 20+ minutes. Thank God! I have to grab more groceries and might decide to go elsewhere because of the checkout lines here. From reading other reviews, this seems to be a common thing here. Ugh. Okay, if it weren't for the prices you wouldn't catch me dead in here. Especially this one. Even with the prices it's RARE that I mentally prepare myself enough to drag myself in, begrudgingly. For some reason, this Walmart used to be nice but has gone downhill tremendously and I guess the only thing you can blame now is COVID? But... you don't see rhis at other grocery stores so what's their excuse? Walmart as a big corporation is of course looking to cut corners on labor and in turn, there's pretty much ALWAYS only a COUPLE human-ran registers available at check out. Normally, totally fine - I'm personally all for self check out.. but this place never fails to have the longest lines I've ever seen anywhere. We're talking down and winding through the clothing department, wrapping around by produce.. it's so ridiculous. Meanwhile, god forbid if you are forced to ask for assistance at the self-check out, the employees are rude! I hate to say it - but I avoid this place like the plague, and only come here if I NEED to. Today? I felt the need... had the time... but I just walked in and walked right back out. The lines. It's just madness. Not to mention you will absolutely always see random things including perishables stuffed in the most absurd spots like a block of cheese or tub of yogurt in the office supplies. What the heck. It's to be expected it's so normal here. I'd rather pay the small extra for quality, kindness, cleanliness, convenience and efficiency at Publix any day. read more

I placed an order online for delivery. The next day I recess text to say order was on its way, within a split second I received another text to say order had been delivered. I phoned Walmart's customer service and was told that my order had been returned to store. I was told I could receive a refund, but would have to wait 5 to 10 business days. I asked if they could try another delivery. The CSR put me on hold for a minute and told me she couldn't get through to the store. To cut long story short. I asked for a refund as I wasn't getting anywhere with the rep. To the people who wish to order from this store, please be wary or lazy drivers at this store who do not wish to do their job and stupid customer services reps on the phone. read more

I remember Jeff C. raving about this Walmart. I also remember thinking to myself, how can an Walmart be awesome and have constant 5-star reviews? Well, here I am, giving it 5-stars... After going to a local Unofficial Yelp Event and having a lovely Sunday, I found myself in need of a few items and near this Walmart. I remember telling my significant other to check it out since Jeff C (yelper from the Lake Nona Area) has always raved about this place and we needed some items. Upon arriving, we were ver much impressed on the structure of this Walmart. It's actually beautiful from the outside. Yup, Beautiful... A WALMART.... Needless to say it's in the gorgeous Lake Nona Area! This Walmart in a super-center, so it's a given that it's huge! It also has a very, I repeat, VERY decent Liquor store with a huge walk-in fridge inside and lower-priced liquor! Other than that... imagine all the Walmart priced items in a place that actually looks inviting, clean, NEAT and regardless if it's packed, mostly hassle-free! Yup... I got to say, Jeff was right! I like this Walmart. The shelves are well stocked and the aisle and clean and organized. Large store. I like that they removed a good amount of the things that cluttered up the heads of the aisle. At times you couldn't get by the other customers with your cart because of all the nonsense stuff. Clothing aisle always seem to narrow though. Great variety of fresh-looking produce and meats. Prices are well below some stores in the area. I find certain items here that I can't find in other Walmart's or store for that matter. Of course, with most Walmart's in my experience is that they do not open enough registers EVER. Lucky this are many self-service registers. But sometimes I don't want to check myself out. The place is always packed in the evening and on Saturdays, but I have found if you go there early on Sunday mornings before say 11:00 you can believe it or not get in and out quickly. I have actually walked right up to an open register. They also have a separate liquor store at this location. Good size parking lot. Their biggest and I mean their biggest downfall is their bathrooms. They need to be cleaner. The carts are good and you can usually get one. read more

Have lived here 3 years and do most of my shopping for auto, home goods, electronics at this store spending over $800 per month including pharmacy. I have always been treated well but today, was an exception. Marisa (pronounced Marreesa) was very rude to me at checkout. Talked non stop to a friend. I put all items on the belt and she still did not acknowledge me. When I asked her if I should move to another aisle for checkout-- she ignored me - the man she was speaking to then left and she advised she was going on her break and turned her back and left. When I asked for the Manager, Enrica came by and acted in much the same way -- didn't give me 2 minutes and said sorry -- and turned away. NOT a way to treat customers and this lady was never told how unhappy a customer was. Terrible! I wouldn't treat others this way and will rethink going to this store weekly. read more

Walmart needs more handicapped scooters for its shoppers. They need to make sure they work and keep them charged up. I spend a lot of money at Walmart for groceries the least they can do is to provide assistance for those with limited mobility. The current way of doing business here is not cost effective leaving customers like me disgruntled. If there are no scooters I shop at stores that have them available. Stop right where you are! Five star Walmart?!?! Oh yeah totally a five star Walmart. Now Walmart normally on the scale could be like a 2 1/2 so this Walmart exceeds any expectations I ever had for any Walmart ever. The store is obviously brand-new and squeaky clean, however I have been to one of the flagship stores in my old neighborhood before and they maintain them just like that. So one thing that the Lake Nona area has been missing is any sort of big box shopping. I love Orlando local, but sometimes I need access to mask merchandise and I need to do so at a discounted price. Sorry this just real life. This Walmart actually features almost exclusively fresh produce; there's always going to be stuff that brought in from some other part of the world. They are trying to stay local though... Which is pretty cool. So approaching the store it's rather like wow are you kidding me they put this much effort into a Walmart.... Well yes they did. The location is about halfway between Tavistock road and the 417. So let's talk turkey now... Well Walmart I guess; I digress. This place is amazing looking; take a look at the pictures you'll see that they actually put some sort of effort into the architecture of this place yeah, it's just a big giant box; at least they made it a little snazzy addressed up the outside. They claim an all new layout and all new look for Walmart. My goodness they were not kidding! Store is laid out completely different; when you go into the left there's actually a wine department infused into the bakery and massive produce department. All of the sections are boldly displayed along the back wall plus in addition to signage down every single isle very clear in black and white large block letters. I don't mean it in a ugly way, it's actually fantastically easy to find stuff. They have a vision center, pharmacy, a new family salon on the way, garden center and a new tech repair service in the back of the store which is unique. I promise I'm not banging the lake Nona drum. Wow I can't believe I've never written a review for Walmart. This is the standard Walmart superstore nothing out of the ordinary the groceries are fresh the food is non-expired the staff is oddly helpful and I've never had a problem with anything that I bought or anything that I've had questions about. I would definitely recommend this Walmart because of its ease of access variety of foods and friendly staff. I think that the only thing that would make it better would be a better selection of organic items. Or gluten gluten free items. Generally speaking this Walmart is very clean compared to others and is fast and efficient this is my normal Walmart and I've been through a lot of Walmarts but this one is probably with in the top three of my favorite Walmarts. So be like Nike and just do it shop here get your groceries eat good food read more

This has got to be the nicest, cleanest Walmart center I've ever been to. They have everything for you here.They have your very own alcohol center and instead of having McDonald's in there, they have a food stand for fresh and organic food only that you can buy.Smart idea since they're located in medical city if you ask me! They also have a clearance idle and I stress that so hard because you actually do get a deal! It's located near the school supplies area! You can thank me later! Also, they have the fastest checkout lines.Ranging from cashiers, to self checkout (look out for a faster way to check out with credit/debit cards only!) I've been going to this Walmart since it opened and it's getting worse. The most incompetent people in the world I must say. Including the"managers" or "team leaders" such as a man named Francisco. This person couldn't do a refund with out messing it up. He just charged me again and took the new charge off. When I returned today I waited for an hours because he a in a meeting. After 2 hours in this store a manager of the name Freddy helped me within 5 minutes and refunded my money. I will never come back to any Walmart or use their services. It doesn't help that most of the employees don't speak english. I'm going to Amazon and other places to shop. This place is horrible. Not cheaper either. read more

I often come to this location in Lake Nona because it's a very clean and much more organized than other Walmarts I've been too. Although I am not a fan of Walmart or big franchise stores, I must admit it is ver convenient and the prices are very competitive. I find that the produce at this location is fresh however they don't seem to have much variety when it comes to organic or plant based foods. That's when I have to go elsewhere to find what I'm looking for. All in all the Lake Nona location is one I recommend if you frequent Walmart. read more

Did pick up and the experience was terrible! Enough to never shop at a Walmart again. First, I received a text stating my order would be delayed by two hours. A few minutes later, a text stating my order is ready. Arrived and Lanes are not labeled. I was instructed to park one way during a previous pick up and yesterday I was told I needed to back all the way out of the pick up area. On top of this angering experience, a worker with an attitude. What kind of tomfoolery is this? This is not worth my time or money. I'm deleting my Walmart account. Wow, a decent Walmart! Starting from the outside, parking wasn't crazy and they make an effort to keep the lot clean. At least when we arrived, there was a guy picking up debris so maybe it was a one-off. The staff is friendly and willing to spark conversation with you, non-creepily. The store had a decent selection and it wasn't difficult to find things like at some other locations. Check out was a breeze and we were in and out of the store in under 10 minutes with the few items we grabbed. The location is also very convenient so double points for that. Overall, there's not much to complain about so if I'm ever in town, I'll swing by this Walmart over the others. read more

THIS REVIEW IS TO WARN ANYONE THAT IS NOT WHITE. I REPEAT IF YOU ARE BLACK DO NOT SHOP HERE, BECAUSE YOU WILL BE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST AND THE EMPLOYEES THAT ARE NOT BLACK WILL THINK YOU STEALING JUST BECAUSE OF YOUR SKIN COLOR. Every single person at self checkout needed assistance from the employee. The employee went to everyone putting in her code when she comes to us she questioning what we needed her help for but she didn't do that to the people next to us or behind us. When we asked for the manager the employee claimed she didn't know where the manager was and said she had to go tend to other customers in self checkout. I got a different employee to help us who was BLACK and he helped no problem. When the white employee came back and saw that a code was already placed in she started to question us like we did something wrong. We told her that the black employee helped us when she couldn't, not because she didn't know how to but it's because she didn't want to help us black people. The employee left and came back with manager who is also white. The manager then asked to void our transaction. We were confused because we told them that the black employee helped us with the issue and that we didn't need to void. The manager says that she has to void our transaction to ensure that our items on the receipt matched the upc # on the items. We only had 13 items so you can clearly see everything we bought on the screen. So we were confused as to why this is taking place when the white man on the side of us was DEFINITELY stealing and even the machine caught it but the same white employee who accused us of stealing, entered her code multiple times on his screen not asking one question. AND HOW WE KNOW THE WHITE MAN WAS STEALING? We saw he was searching for a barcode that clearly was on top, yet he decided to scan a $4 bottle about 3 times. The lady still didn't say anything. Now the man has left the premises with more than 20 items for less than $10 but nobody said anything. Now the manager takes our stuff to void out our transaction and to check just to find out that she and the employee was COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY WRONG. We were the only blacks in self checkout and were the only ones that were harassed and accused. I WILL BE RETURNING THESE ITEMS BECAUSE AFTER THINKING ABOUT WHAT TOOK PLACE WALMART DOES NOT DESERVE MY MONEY. & I WILL BE SENDING AN EMAIL TO CORPORATE AND I WILL GIVE A CALL ON MONDAY. Omg don't go here if you're in a hurry. I have honestly been standing in line to check out for 33 minutes. They have 4 checker people working and the self check out lines are backed up with at least 15-20 families waiting to use those machines. I'm also in a line with a checkout person who obviously gets paid by the hour and not the scan. She hasn't a care in the world and actually scans and looks at everything like it's a new Christmas. DoorDash has taken over. Used to be able to pick up your order no problem. I tried 6 times to pick up and the line is 10+ cars deep. I kept coming back and calling the pick up line. No answer. Finally, talked my husband into waiting 45 minutes in line, after working 9hrs and they tell him the order was cancelled because we didn't come at the time slot. I tried!! Walmart Pickup: Be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes for them to bring your order out, even if you've checked in 30 mins ahead of time (should have been enough time to bring out the 3 items I ordered but alas I suppose not). Honestly whatever money you save buying from Walmart isn't worth the 30 minutes you sit in the pickup area waiting for it. I would rate it with no stars if I could. My expectations are low, and get lower with every visit. There are always at least one or two key groceries items that are not stocked. In general-the store is never fully stocked and at the same time is always stocking - blocking aisle and employees who do not talk to you pushing past-making you move and just plain ignoring you. Employees are not trained and managed well, and customer service, whether in an aisle or at self check out, would be laughable if it wasn't so frustrating. I'm pretty sure I work harder when I go to Walmart to shop than do the employees at self checkout and those hanging out with them. read more

Absolutely terrible , had to go to Walmart to buy a couple things today at 9:00 am , go to the self checkout was going to pay with two separate cards, didn't even finish scanning the first item , and the employee that was working there at the moments comes up and asks if I'm paying two separate orders, she proceeds to call someone else and they both start starting at me, I scanned ALL MY ITEMS and PAID. This was such a horrible and uncomfortable experience, especially when I wasn't even finished scanning my items. Terrible Terrible this is such a convenient Walmart location but I will not be returning. Not to mention long wait times for lines with only two cash registers open , items are never updated online you go to the store and items are never available like it states online. read more

I want to preface this by saying, this must be one of the worst Wal-Marts in the history of Wal-Mart. There have been multiple issues with this store and this is the breaking point. Twice, I have gone to the Wal-Mart located at 11930 Narcoossee Rd Orlando, have a tire installed. The first time was a year ago, I had an appointment but no one showed up for work that day according to the Manager. A year later, Feb. 13th, 2024, I had an appointment at 9:00am, after waiting two weeks from purchasing the tire, to have the tire replaced. I arrived before my scheduled time to check in for my appointment. They took back the car to start working and after WAITING for half an hour, I was told that they could not change the tire because they were unable to remove the lugs. I then told the worker, "I gave you the wheel lock.," he then told me the lugs were too tight. I immediately requested a refund if they could not do their job. I returned home to try and remove the lugs myself and I was able to take all of them off with a car lug wrench with no problem, even the tire with the lug-lock. I immediately called to complain to the Store manager and was hung up on four times. I called back for a fifth time and spoke with the operator. She kept me on the phone while she called for a store manager on their radio device. The response she got from making the call was that "There was no manager today." She then asked if there was any type of acting manager onsite today because there was another customer at the store wanting to speak with them as well. The worker on the call said "There is no manager today" in a very rude tone and asked "What did I want?". The operator said that the customer on the phone wanted to speak with the manager. The worker she was talking to then said, "We are busy and don't have time to talk to customers." I find that to be the most disrespectful and laziest statement you could say to ANY customer. Every time I have gone to this Wal-Mart, because it is in my neighborhood / convenient, I walk out disappointed because their service is horrible. read more
