Saving money & living better remains their core value. While expanding their biggest concept of saving time ever since they've introduced their Supercenter. They've continued to innovate into today by offering curbside pickup & expanding their self checkout. I've noticed these changes since shopping here since 2019 & this location has made huge leaps & bounds by offering what I've just mentioned recently. My shopping experiences have improved in checkout efficiency. Even full service checkout has a little improvement as I've observed 3-4 checkout lanes open recently vs 1 lane more backed up then Pittsburgh tunnel traffic at rush hour. Checkout experiences will vary as some cashiers have knowledge pertaining to non-traditional payments like Healthy Benefits (United Health OTC/Grocery benefit) or store credit card. Eight times out of 2 my checkout experiences have been efficient & reasonably quick while offering satisfactory customer service. Associates strive to assist customers in other areas throughout this store. Each dept offers only essentials within merchandise selections. If your sewing auto or home improvement projects involve beyond their selections of your needs. Go elsewhere. Store cleanliness remains above average; they could stand to maintain their restrooms better & dressing rooms with less items & other clutter left inside. Shopping areas seem to be maintained well as I didn't see any problems with the floors furnishings or anything filthy for that matter. Organization tends to remain a problem but it's kept to a minimum possible & kept as such by dedicated store employee's & OCD (Yes I organize things there too) customers. My main patronage consists of groceries or merchandise from their pharmaceutical section. Grocery selection remains on par with Giant Eagle or Khun's offering 3 basic depts (Bakery Deli & Meats/seafood) & sometimes more expanded depending on what foods youre looking for. I love their pizza selection as theirs is unique carrying primo brands not found elsewhere. Same goes with their other foods or beverages. I shop their electronics occasionally & they've begun offering brands & items you'd usually find within best buy or other major electronics stores. Other service offered on premises is their TLE (Tire Lube Express) offering basic maintenance services from tire repair oil chances along with other selected car maintenance services. I'll elaborate more about TLE within their yelp. Their other related auto service is their Walmart fuel station across the lot (I've reviewed them recently). The worst experience ever I only gave them a 1 star cause they had what I needed the return policy on the app is misleading and customer service was rude and the cashier greeter was worse it is impossible to tell what line ur waiting in they need to seriously think about a different strategy for checkout I have been to many different wallmarts this one is definitely the worse read more

I don't know how it has taken me this long to write a review for this location. Actually, I have an inkling as to why. Long ago I worked for Walmart, and within that time period, I spent one week at this store. This store has a reputation to it. Happenings from this location have been all over the news as well. So the combination of the two probably, subconsciously, have kept me from here for such a long time. And might I say that that combination was doing a good job...until recently. I ended up here fairly early in the morning. Tons of time to kill. I did need a few items and I figured I might end up getting them all here. That did not actually happen, me getting everything I need. I always feel like whatever I am looking for is purposely not on the shelf. I am also quite sure that everyone feels that way in that particular moment. There were several things that I could not find, but that could be because that this is not the biggest Walmart out there. Ordered groceries online. They never arrived. Had to wait 2 whole days to cancel order, no explanation or notifications on the status at all, then took 7-10 business days to refund almost $200 worth of groceries after I've spent thousands at this store. Not a single dept would answer the phones to help. Does not have an ounce of customer service help nor do they care about its customers. And this is like the THIRD time they've done this to me. 3 strikes, you're out. I will be calling corporate and complaining as well. Never again. read more

Wal-Mart is not just groceries, they have great home DIY tools & paint. I love the Colorplace or Glidden they sell for interior and exterior. It is about half of what a gallon of paint sells for everywhere else and it is PPG paint, excellent coverage and goes on nicely & stays on! I painted my whole house, inside & out, myself with paint from Wal-Mart, and it has been durable and looks really good too! This paint had a tough job for sure! And I am happy with the results, some having been on for 5 years now! read more

The N. Versailles Walmart has got to be the worst mis-managed operation I've ever experienced. More employees than shoppers with most standing around, yet trying to get assistance is like pulling teeth (that's a separate story). Store looked trashy with items scattered around and aisles filled with boxes waiting to be unpacked, yet employees were doing nothing. Avoid this place! read more

One on the worst Walmart stores in the country! Always self checkout (to the point, employees leave boxes of bags and don't restock the bags at the self checkout). Local police on shifts during store hours because of issues, a this location is beyond an embarrassment to Walmart. read more

Walmart has everything. Prices are hard to beat. Quality varies, but for staple items and food they definately best the prices of any rival. A smart choice for many routine needs. The self checkout has definately improved the checkout process. read more

Store was clean and place looked nice. But only three registers open. One was self checkout and the other two with people to check you out. Long lines and no one coming to ring people up. Keep the people moving and they'll come back. Make us wait ... we will go somewhere else next time. read more

I am a woman of color with natural 4b some 4c hair. I went for a wash and straightening and left with very greasy, flat, thin looking, burnt smelling hair. The stylist was nice, however , I was on time and seen almost 2 hours late then i had to ask for her to add heat protectant after I realized she was drying my hair without any. The drying process was harsh.She didnt section my hair, which is thick especially in the back; she raked through it with some sort of brush and I'm surprised I didnt loose patches of hair. While she was flat ironing my hair a little girl who was waiting, commented on the smoke coming from my hair, stating it looked like a chimney. Also, her styling tools were veeery damaged. Why I didnt just leave and stop her is besides me. I hadn't been to a stylist in years for this reason. You can't trust everyone with your hair nor expect gentle treatment as you would do your own. Lesson learned. I spent $60 for this and no discount for the late appointment or poor service was offered. read more

Wll it's Wal mart, cheap goods at a descent price. Store is rather small in size but you can get in and out in 15 minutes if you have 10 items. This one not the cleanest but I'll take that in lieu of cheap prices. read more

I tried on a few things at the fitting room this weekend and when I asked the fitting room attendant where to place the items I didn't want, she told me I can just put them back on the shelf myself, then walked away from me. I placed the items on the counter and she had the nerve to ask me to move them. Poor customer service, as always. On a plus side, they now have self checkout. read more

I liked that there were a lot of other businesses close because I needed a few items Walmart didn't have. The parking lot was big and lots of cameras as usual it was busy but the checkout was fast using self checkout. read more

The N. Versailles walmart is currently being renovated. it wouldn't let me check into the old yelp page for it, stating it was "moved".. its hasnt.. just being renovated. Anyways, i stopped in here last weekend. I was in the area and needed Bissel carpet cleaner for my rug scrubber. Thankfully it was in stock. i honestly didnt see anything wrong with this walmart. The last yelp page had like 20 bad reviews. I found everything i needed easy and items were stocked. Even though the person checking us out was old and took awhile, its better than having a rude texting teenage cashier rushing you. I also ended up buying fall candles (13 oz candle for $3.95- awesome) , a reusable coffee filter, fall window clings and bathroom cleaner. Im satisfied. read more

This Walmart was clean and had a good selection of products. Prices for household, cleaning, hygiene, and beauty products could be lower. I was happy to purchase a couple of cheap sweatshirts. They have a grocery store on one side, but I did not shop there much so cannot comment on it. The line of customers at the cash register was not too long on a Saturday before Christmas. I called this Wal Mart on a Sunday afternoon because I had a question about one of my orders. I counted 6 times that I was placed on hold. When the manager finally did pick up, it started ringing again. I am so confused. I only wanted to ask a question and I didn't think everyone would be so busy and unpleasant on a Sunday afternoon. I am not sure what is happening with their phone system, but it was really inconvenient and a waste of time for me. They always nice,people will help you,they try. Theirs elderly young and in between ages and all nice. Auto dept honest. Home furnishings where drapes and blinds are excellent ladies in that dept. More lines could open but,hey its like that in other stores too. Their on line delivery awesome. Can't wait till they deliver food. read more

Worst experience ever! DO NOT order online and expect this store to lift a finger to pull your order. Waited 10 hours with no confirmation. When they finally decided to fill the order, the items were no longer available. After calling the store 6 times, 3 times to PICK UP and 3 times to Customer Associate, with no answer of any of these calls, I finally got a manager who said it can take up to 48 hours for an online order to be ready!!! The website clearly says FAST AND FREE PICK UP TODAY. I won't be ordering or shopping at this store it was just a day of FRUSTRATION that was the furthest thing from customer focused. The lady in front on me in the store was also waiting for an online order that wasn't available either!! Save time and frustration, shop at Target, Kmart, Sears, Lowes.....but Walmart has seriously gone downhill with it's Site to Store disaster. read more

This Walmart is absolutely terrible. The area is terrible since it's a lower income area, the workers at this Walmart are severely understaffed. Over 20 cash registers and half the time only 5 are staffed. Be ready to spend over 30 minutes waiting to check out. Not to mention the other customers due to being lower income are rowdy, and very unpleasant. Almost every time I shop there I always see the cops out front with sirens. This WalMarts management sucks. I bought a birthday cake from this store and my daughter but into her piece, only to find a long strand of blond hair in it. The cake was dry and stale. I took the cake back to the store. The manager looked at me and said, what do you want, a refund. I said yes and I believe you should. That's all I was I was able to get out before she walked away. The customer service staff refunded me and that was it. So that means to me it will definitely happen again. Not to me though. Because I'll never go there again. read more

So like any Walmart, this one is always eventful. Just the other night, my boyfriend, son, and I were walking out to our car after shopping and were lucky enough to witness a physical altercation (AKA an all out cat fight) between two girls, who both looked to be no older than 18, literally 20 ft from the front door. One of them was actually a Walmart associate (I know this because she was still wearing her blue vest with the yellow asterisk like symbol on the back) and after watching the fight for a solid two minutes, her mother decided to jump in and aid her daughter. I've shopped at many different Walmart locations and have experienced my fair share of frustration from doing so, but I have never been more livid after walking out of a store in my life. The sad part is that that girl still has her job. Absolutely disgusting to know that Walmart couldn't care less about how their employees act when they leave work, even if they haven't even made it out of the parking lot. Other than that, it's a huge store and they usually have anything and everything I'm looking for for the normal, reasonable Walmart prices. It's a shame some misguided teenagers are further tarnishing Walmart reputation. read more

I found a white spider crawling around the strawberries and I complained about it, insisting that they bring out strawberries from the stock and allow me do a visual inspection before choosing one to buy. A week later, I had to complain about an employee that kept sneaking up on me to scare me. In both cases, I was as polite and patient with them as I could be, but they were apparently annoyed enough with me that they accused me of making messes in their bathrooms (whatever that means) and banned me from their stores. Their bathrooms were always messy and dirty, seemingly before I even got there! I also frequently saw trash literring the floors, chicken bones on shelves behind products, and overflowing trash cans. Their smoking areas are really close to their entrances, which is a big no-no for those of us who care about our lungs. read more

In spite of earlier negative experiences, we decided to shop this weekend at this Walmart Supercenter. Sorry we did. Some clientele in groups, two, sometimes three people in a group, in addition to their carts, blocking aisles. Either oblivious or just entitled. Two "thugs" cut into head of line of customers in line at Walmart based Subway and then started ordering. The clerk said nothing to them about jumping the line, just took their order.
