Here today! Visited this Walmart in Mount Pleasant, Mi because Wally Mart is all I know when it comes to the everyday essentials. It wasn't until I visited this small town in Michigan that my discovered there's a Meijer's which is a Walmart competitor. Now for me, I won't buy my groceries there but when it comes to phone chargers, electronics, stationery, Holiday essentials, my white polo shirts, toiletries you know 1 stop shop items. I've noticed Wallymart has increased in prices over the years and especially in this state, I read it was due to staff and public theft. But at any rate, Wallymart is an all time favorite of mines. This is not the first time I would be leaving a bad review online about Walmart and idk if it's just this store in particular that sucks ass but half the employees are rude af and they really tried locking the doors before they closed which is just fucking infuriating and I hate this fucking store so much I wish it wasn't so cheap compared to the other stores cus they really don't deserve shit and the reviews clearly reflect that. Some of the employees are actually kind of nice but I think all they all act like they're better than you regardless which is just weird. read more

It's a large store with pretty much everything you need. Most of the employees are nice and you can return bottles.

I have never felt so uncomfortable in a store since covid started. There is no one monitoring if people are wearing a mask or not when they enter the store, compared to other Walmarts I have visited. While walking around and getting a mere 8 items, I saw 6 people not wearing masks at all, people of all ages too. I saw more people wearing a mask incorrectly rather than correctly. I don't normally write reviews, but I could not emphasize that I have never felt so unsafe. Mt. Pleasant is currently a hot spot for COVID since the start of school, yet most of the people I saw not wearing masks did not appear to be college students. I am just extremely disappointed in their lack of effort in keeping their customers safe and comfortable. read more

The people who work in sporting goods are non existent, my wife had to go find someone to call for help in sporting goods, 5 minutes later a man in his sixties stops by and says he'll find someone, my wife told him how long we had been waiting and that she had already reached out for help from a neighboring department, he went to find help, 5 minuites later another Walmart team member came by and went off for help, then after 15 minutes they called over the intercom for a service member with keys to sporting goods case. Then 5 more minutes goes by and the sixty year old man comes with the keys and I tell him what I need. The service was far below average, and the care of the team members is a running joke! All in all it took them 25 minutes to service me. As a result I put back over one hundred dollars worth of merchandise and just bought the foods items I needed. I will use another provider from now on. We are right down the street from Walmart, but when I see a pattern of non service events that seem to be related to a group of employees playing a game of non commital service to a customer that's my cue to find another service provider! read more

I went to pickup some items while on vacation from work, and asked the team member for assistance with identifying a accessory item that I needed to replace for a item I purchased some months back, theteam member was not looking to help. I asked the young lady was there a manager available, the team member said she did not know who her manager was, I was very disappointed with her response and service. Love the chimney- free fireplace I received via Walmart.com, but BEWARE of their delivery options. I selected the 'ship to home' option for an additional fee because the website stated that it could be delivered a week earlier than It could be shipped to the nearby store and available for pickup. What the website failed to state was that they use an external delivery method that only ships to my area on one day per week, and only in a four hour block of time. Arranging for my package to be delivered was a nightmare. The representative from the delivery company told me over the phone that there were no options for me if I wasn't available on Wednesdays between 11 am and 3 pm (when I leave for work at 11:30 am daily) because a signature was required. They almost convinced me to cancel my order and re-order my item on Walmart.com, select the store pickup item, and wait even longer to receive the item that I was in a hurry to receive. I decided to wait a week or two to see if either (1) the delivery company could deliver early enough for me to be present or (2) I could get a friend or neighbor to be at my house to sign off for my package. Later, a different associate (I believe she was a delivery driver) contacted me and told me that I could leave a note on the door with an instruction to leave the package at my door, which I did. All things considered, this process was much more stressful and less convenient than I ever anticipated, and my package ended up being delivered three days later than the date given on Walmart.com, but I do love my new entertainment center that doubles as an electric fireplace. read more

Walmart was my go to place for oil changes, tires and rotations. My last oil change was in the fall 2018 as we are snowbirds....upon returning in the spring my husband decided to change the oils himself, he had purchased new ramps for our autos. Couldn't change the oil because Dave at Walmart had cross threaded the oil plug and he used BLUE PERMATEX to try to hide what he had done. Called the auto department at Walmart and Darrell said "not fixing it, it is passed 30 days" I should also ad that the service manager Darrel, accused us of doing that kind of shabby work to our own car, duh! After persistent calls to Corporate(they did nothing) and a lengthy discussion with the store manager, we got a call with permission to take our car to Adam's Auto in Mt Pleasant....they were great! DO NOT USE this Walmart Oil Change center!!! They over-filled my oil and allowed debris to fall in the engine during the oil change. I had to have the car towed home because it was a Sunday night and no garage was open. I had it towed again on Monday to a local garage. They couldn't figure out what the idiots at Walmart had done - so I had to tow it AGAIN to the dealership over 40 miles away. They figured it out and told me it was Walmart' fault. I contacted Walmart to get reimbursed for the oil change and the fees at the dealership. They refused! Even thought the Oil Change manager was there the night my car was towed from in front of their shop. Their staff is not trained properly and then the corporation doesn't stand by their substandard work. Beware and do NOT get your oil changed there. And because the corporation is so money hungry that they couldn't reimburse me - I will NEVER shop in their stores again. Terrible company. PS - I only gave 1 star because that was the minimum rating I could give. They don't deserve the one star. read more

Absolutely disappointed with this location. A friend went through a three week, 4 interview process, offered 2 separate jobs, and then wasn't told of the retracted job offer, as he had to call multiple times to find out himself. A hardworking, struggling college student does not deserve the disrespect of this staff, and neither do the customers. read more
