The store has definitely changed since the last time I was here, I love how there's so many different varieties of household items in the store and for pretty decent prices too. You could definitely spend some time here looking around to see what kind of products they have. The furniture was definitely nice, it was the first time I'd ever seen a sherpa couch, I loved it! The bulk of their returns are without receipts. Clothing was returned by Managers, even though they smelled horribly of body odor & had signs of excessive wear. Managers returned clothing with little snags under the armpits, although another manager informed them that the item was not Ross merchandise. For an entire hour every employee interaction I had besides one was hostile, and gave of the vibe that I was not wanted. Then after being yelled at not once but 3x for talking about MY PREGNANCY AND CHILDREN. Being pulled into the office because I was still talking about my children and pregnancy. I had to leave, I was crying and upset, I was 3 months postpartum, still breastfeeding with twins. I had never been treated so terribly by coworkers in my life. Then when I got him I did the proper thing and emailed both the assistant manager and store manager alerting the of the situation. To which I was told HR would be involved and they would be reaching back out to me. Apparently that was a lie, because a few days ago I received a job abandonment letter. So just know if you want to work here and you don't know anyone else that works there you will be treated like an outsider. And it's okay. They have posters and tell you how they are mother friendly and then let you get treated like dirt for being a mother

I had to roll a giant cart of stuff out of the way to get to the wall of stuff and the lady got snappy with me assuming I needed an Apple charger, "if you're looking for Apple cords we don't have them here" in a rude condescending tone. Looking at the chargers on the wall clearly they had Apple chargers there but that wasn't what I was looking for so I ignored her comment. I told her I was looking for a C style wall adapter to which she responded, "well we don't have those either". I had checked online first and it said they did. But with her nasty attitude I left before even finishing to check. I'll drive across town to Walmart before I'll ever return to this store. This disgusting behavior I would expect from Pekin but not Morton.
