poor tire service, would suggest going elsewhere. lack of good help, the concern for good customer service is lacking.

Love this store. There is always help available and it's fun to browse. Everything from heavy tools to baking nuts and candy.

Best store in Bloomington if you like to garden, do it yourself outdoor projects or just like to buy cheap clothes.

Bloomington-Normal doesn't have many sporting good stores. I personally don't know if any other…read morethan Dick's but I know that doesn't mean there aren't more. The few times I've shopped here, I walked out empty-handed almost every time. I mostly go there looking for things I can use at work. I carry a lot of stuff. I was able to find huge book bag for a decent price. It's made my work life so much easier. They only carry rifles so you'll have to go elsewhere if you want to purchase a handgun. I was hoping since they had rifles I might find a molle magazine holder for rifle magazines. I needed new tactical boots for work. A coworker told me how comfortable the Under Armor boots are. I checked out Dick's for them. They carry one set of Under Armor boots but only had 6 inches. I'm required to wear 8 inches. The worst part of the store is exiting if you didn't buy anything. You still have to navigate through the checkout lane area. If the checkout lane is busy then it's not an easy exit. I tried the entrance doors to see if they'd register me standing there but it didn't work. Luckily someone was coming in so I walked back out the front door. It's a minor inconvenience clearly but still noteworthy.

I am a lifeguard/wsi at the YMCA and all of our equipment comes from the Lifeguard Store, but my…read moreexperience with them was really disappointing. I gave them two stars instead of one only because as far as selection goes, they are the best you're going to find, and the equipment (fanny packs, tubes, etc) are really good. But that's pretty much their only redeeming quality. At my YMCA, the guards buy their own suits, and at least twenty of us got ours from the lifeguard store. Again, great selection, but quality is so-so. The suits will not last more than one season and stretch out within weeks, and I, along with most of the female guards, went through two/sometimes three suits in a single season. So if you're looking for lifeguard gear, and you are 110% POSITIVE you know what you want, then by all means, but God forbid you ever need to return something or deal with customer service. I bought two swimsuits in early May. One didn't fit, so I filled out the return slip exactly as directed and mailed it back. But by late June, I heard nothing and saw nothing credited to my account, so I called customer service to confirm that my package was received. She asked for a tracking number, and for once I didn't have one (really was kicking myself for not doing that since they literally would not answer the question of whether or not it was in the building, won't make that mistake again), and that's when the woman from customer service informed me that in order to make a return, you actually have to call ahead and essentially make an appointment and receive a authorization number. There was literally no indication of this on their return policy, and it was the first time I had heard of such a thing. "call for authorization" was printed on the bottom of the return slip, but that was literally the only indicator they had this policy and to me it was not at all made clear. So customer service lady says, ok, it's probably delayed because you didn't get an authorization number, just wait it out for a week, two at most, and you should see your refund, guaranteed. FOUR WEEKS go by, no response, no refund. Keep in mind it's late July now and has been more than TWO MONTHS since they would have received the package. At this point I started thinking that it might have been lost or stolen, and I sent an email saying that they needed to confirm that they had received it, because if they didn't, I was going to report it lost to USPS. The customer service woman I emailed was about as helpful as a potato. Obviously did not give a damn about my problems with them. She responded to my complaint two paragraph complaint with literally one sentence: "what's the tracking number?" "I don't have one. I wanted someone to confirm that it was received and is being processed." "I don't see anything that says a refund was sent to you. If you don't have a tracking number I don't know if it's here." Is it really that hard to WALK TO THE MAILROOM AND CHECK IF MY NAME'S ON ANYTHING?? Then, FINALLY, after roughly TEN WEEKS after they would have received the package, I see the refund credited to my account. I sent the return to them in MAY and it took them THE ENTIRE LIFEGUARD SEASON to get my refund in early August. Also this refund came through only about a week and a half after I sent the email to customer service and she said that no refund was sent out to me, so it wasn't like my bank was taking forever. It means that these guys were literally letting my return sit on a shelf and collect dust for more than TWO MONTHS. And after this whole ordeal I talked to the other guards and apparently The Lifeguard Store is notoriously awful with returns even if you DO get an authorization number. So please, if you ABSOLUTELY MUST buy something from them, just take it and go. But honestly, there are much better stores out there for equipment and guard suits. I highly recommend Swim Outlet, I have never been disappointed by them.

Ordered the Waterpark Guard Hip Pack from the website on the 28 of may and it got here on the 31…read morewith free shipping, i did have to email them to get my tracking number, but other than my experience was good!

This company is the worst company and staffs the most inhumane people with no empathy, respect,…read more kindness, or intelligence. I have been on this bus for 19 hours and still have 4more to go. That's 24hrs and was only allowed to step off the bus twice to stretch my legs, purchase food/drinks, smoke, use bathrooms other than on board Porta potty. Both stops it was also only a 15 -20 min break. I understand trying to keep schedule times and getting to the destination, but this has been completely inhumane, uncaring, uncomfortable and completely unnecessary experience. I would rather walked the 4 state's then ever ride this company again. Their treatment of thier customers is unimaginable. Every employee from Denver Indianapolis has been completely rude, and unfortunately don't care about thier customers comfort. I watched them yell at others on board as if they were scolding a child. I watch them be rude because of other passengers not knowing English and just walking away refusing to help them. I watched them be asked important questions about travel and them flat out tell passengers not my job not my problem. There mistreatment is on all passengers equally and all they care about it packing you in like caged cattle and getting your money. They don't even deserve the one star I had tto give them in order to try and warn everyone about how terrible they are. Please choose any other means in traveling becuse this gre edy uncaring inhumane compamy deserves to go bankrupt and close. Yhey serriously need to be suied by some class action for thier mistreatment of passengers!

From growing up in Chicago and then living in Champaign I thought I have seen ghetto before. But that ghetto doesn't compare to the ghetto that rides on this bus. From the 2 little kids in front of me fake shooting the people walking onto the bus, to the girl behind me cackling to the lady next to her that she just met, to the guy across from me coughing into the air, and lastly the guy a few seats up who's sprawled out accords the seat with his head in the isle snoring. This bus deserves a rating less than 1 star. To go somewhere that takes 2 hours I have to pay 25 dollars to feel sketched out and uncomfortable the entire time. It is astonishing to me that this type of service is even allowed. I am open minded to a lot of people, however none of those people ride this bus. The only thing that is semi good about this bus is that it says it only takes an hour and 50 minutes to get where I want to go whereas the Peoria Charter (which is safer by far) takes 2 and a half hours and runs during inconvenient times. Still, Burlington Sketchways usually runs late so at the end of the day it doesn't ever matter. All in all, don't take this shithole of a bus unless you truly have no other form of transportation. It isn't worth it. Go to the circus if you want to be stuck with people like these.
