Their delivery department is a joke. I pay for services that are not fulfilled. Almost every time I order I always have a delay. Please tell me what am I paying for. An when I call the store or call the 1800 number they can never tell me when my order will be fulfilled. I called trying to get ahold of somewhere here trying to find out if they give out unused boxes since I heard they're one of the stores the apparently "used" to do this. But, since nobody answers their phoned(at LOCATIONS) had to drive there to find out that that they don't anymore. The least they could do is answer their phones and save people a trip instead of just letting it ring indefinitely. read more

So my daughter and I went here to shop. First we stopped to use the bathroom which was so gross I wanted to turn around and leave but I had to go so bad. There was crap in every toilet and toilet paper all over the floor. The toilet cover didn't even help as my butt got wet from the seat. The shopping was as good as expected very crowed no registers open as always. I will never use the front end bathrooms again or any other in that store for that matter read more

Went to Walmart yesterday don't like how they now put rotisserie chickens in the bags now the lock on the bags don't close or they just break had to bag the chicken 3 times so the juice does not go every where wish they would have the containers for the rotisserie chickens instead. read more

My goodness has this location gone wayyyyy down hill. The only thing that it has going for it is the location. This Walmart is centrally located near all of the Monaca/Center shopping, including the Beaver Valley Mall. I had not been here for probably six years but stopped in here several times over the past few weeks to pick up stuff for an upcoming party. First, this place is always packed. Always, no matter what time of the day or night. This is not a problem of course, until you get to the check out lines. The lines were 5 or 6 customers deep. One time we walked all the way down to the other end of where we were parked because the lines seemed shorter. Well unfortunately we were stuck behind two women fighting with the poor cashier over her food stamps. I spotted a manager and said, "We have been waiting for a good 10-12 minutes while these customers argue, can you please open the next aisle and check us out?" She replied, "I just called someone to get some more help up front." Then she scurried away. You are a manager, roll up your sleeves and help out while you wait for backup. The store is never well stocked. Two separate times I had to find a shopper tall enough and ask them to get me the last item located on the top shelf all the way in the back. I had to ask shoppers because employees were no where in site. Or if I did spot someone, they were having a conversation with a customer that they knew....not a conversation about where to find a product....a personal, lengthy conversation. The only saving grace were the actual checkout attendants. They were polite and courteous. Any rational customer could tell they must have a herculean amount of patience to work there. Avoid this store if possible, but then again....they have the location. read more

Walmart Supercenter - a man walking across the street - Department Stores Near Me - Monaca, Pennsylvania

I am in this Monaca, PA Walmart at least once per week. Today, yet again, I observed bad behavior from customers while Walmart employees saw and did nothing. A full grown man in his 20s was riding a toddler bike through the pharmacy and skin care area. There were two employees stocking near by. They totally ignored him loudly and erratically riding the bike through elderly shoppers, who were appalled and frightened. The bike section is far enough away from this area that he probably also road past other employees. This is the third time I witnessed this in 2 months. I left the area and went to the pet food section. There were two employees loudly and unprofessionally complaining about management. I didn't really care to hear what they were saying. I did make out a few things and heard them say the manager did nothing about whatever it was that had upset them. Although I consider myself to be easy going, I'm growing very unhappy with what society is getting away with inside this and other Walmart's. Although I don't mind tasteful tattoos or a steak of a fun hair color, this Walmart seems to be full of employees with an abundance of tattoos all over their bodies. I'm not sure why wearing shorts in appropriate at Walmart. I don't want to see full leg tats. Or legs. Employees have everything from pink to blue hair with piercings all over their faces. I never considered myself old fashioned, but it's getting painful to shop for groceries. Clean up your act! read more

I'm shocked that I haven't reviewed this Wal-Mart until now. Essentially, it sucks to shop here, like a jellyfish on a fat man's bare calf. I'm a big fan of walmart stores. However I live in south florida and the stuff are horrible down here, but in PA, this is a fabulous store. Maybe it's cause it holds my American dream. When I lived in London, and would visit my family in this region, we would make our trip to Walmart so I can stock up on my cheap American good with my sister and her kids. I've had several water fights in the sinks in the toilets at this locations... and never got kicked out for it. ha ha All and all, great value for money! Composite. Lots of visits, but I am new to Yelp so it shows only a few checkins. Another Walmart that is large, inclusive of a thousand items. Great parking; decent lot though the management really needs to figure out where their employees can smoke -- not outside in the front as customers are coming/going for shopping. An older store by the way. Another major one is coming online about 3 miles away.... interesting. My only complaint is that Walmart doesn't want to open the registers -- namely they are always understaffed. Of course this is to force people to check out themselves, bag themselves, and probably talk to themselves when the checkout machines do not work. In fairness I've had much better service at the self-checkout in Walmart than anytime ever in a Giant Eagle. My scoring reflects the consistent lack of adequate staff in the checkout lines,. Placed an Online Curbside Pick Up Order through store's website around 10am for one single item. At 1:00pm I left my mother and daughter in the car and entered the store to find out my order wasn't processed because they said they "got busy and didn't get to it and was short staffed". Long story short.. after waiting another hour in store, they had to refund me for my original item and I then had to make a new purchase for the original item. Overall , I understand computers glitch and such, but waiting an hour+ for a manager to clear it up is time consuming, and frustrating. Luckily I was able to make it out before work. Anyone that works afternoon shifts be warned, If you place a curbside pick up order.. they'll more then likely just ignore it as the store canceled orders on me before. read more

Rudest night staff Ive ever encountered at any Wal-Mart, I drove almost an hour to this location just to find a specific item (Christmas gift) that online showed this was the only place to get it. Unfortunately, i showed up 20 minutes before closing time (10:40pm) and the first thing anyone said to me was "Hey bud what are you doing? We close in 15 minutes" I knew right where what I was looking for would be, so i knew i wouldnt be long, on my way to toy aisle, ANOTHER associate comments to me "Hey man, hurry up were closing soon". Once i realized that the online inventory system is, at best, flawed, I gave up my search for the the item and started to leave when a CSM VERY RUDELY said to me in a very condescending tone, "Sir, you need to hurry up and leave, we close in 5 minutes" it took everything i had not to completely explode due to my cluster of frustrations at this point. (By the way, when I got to my car, the time was 10:55 so someone is exaggerating a bit) In my experience, when a business closes at 11pm, that means they close the doors at 11pm, I apologize for the "Major inconvenience" to these rude people for having to do their job within the "business hours". Maybe you should lobby corporate to close even earlier so you can have that "oh so special quiet time you obviously dont deserve. Next time Ill know not to bother, my mistake. read more

Bought a tv on black friday here. TV is glitching and such. not saying thats there fault. but i showed up to get this deal on black friday and all they can tell me is they will give me a refund on the TV. if i knew this would happen i wouldnt have spend four hours of my thanksgiving night buying from here because they cant even replace it with a different TV. terrible customer service. Every other week I send a money-gram to my granddaughter and this past week, it cost double the money that it normally does. When she went to pick up the money-gram where she normally picks it up, they told her it was a wal-mart to wal-mart only money-gram and she could not get the money. There is not even a wal-mart close to her. I always deal with the same 2 nice women, Takeisha and a grey-haired woman. This week, however, there was a woman I have never seen before with brown hair who screwed up the entire transfer of money. I called to speak to a manager today and I spoke to a nice man named Tom, the front end manager, who promised to look into the matter for me and call me back. Not even 15 minutes later, a get a call from a rude, ignorant woman named Stephanie. I am so happy I recorded the call and I will be sending the recording to corporate and the regional manager. Anyway, this Stephanie person demanded to know why I told a manager that she overcharged me. I could not believe this woman was calling me to say this. How dare she? I started to explain that Tom was handling it, when she cut me off saying that she did not like my attitude and she threatened to hang up on me. I am still in shock. I called Tom, the manager, back and told him what she did. He was very apologetic and he had no idea why she would call me because he told her that HE would call me back. I let him know that I recorded the call and that I did not wish to hear from ANYONE except him. He agreed and promised to call me back. I will pursue this matter further once I hear from Tom. I will make sure this Stephanie person is written up, if not fired, for calling a customer, arguing with me, because she doesn't want her awful behavior reported to management. I may change my review to have more stars depending on how this matter is handled by management. read more
