Entering into this store, my first thought was that this is a big one. They had a lot of stuff on the shelves, well stocked for 2110 in the evening. It was fairly busy as well, that was a surprise. They had what we needed, tho checking out ... WOW, what a task! It's mostly self check out, so we do the work, that includes staying in line for WAY too long. At the bay we were waiting at, one lady was sitting at the check out counter waiting on the attendant to scan something on her phone, another lady was standing there having issues with some gift card that would work, and another couple at another counter was standing waiting on the attendant to input some information onto the screen that shows an image I've never seen at the store, asking for two boxes of information to be filled with with a keyboard underneath it. 4 check out counters at our bay, and 3 were delayed for serval minutes. Very sorry store , bad service, people working cannot speak English, their Spanish is not understandable , 20 registers and only 5 being used, with the lines going all the way around the isles. I gave the Walmart oil change another try. I was sorely wrong in doing so. I went from next in line, it will be 30 minutes to "you got pended, but I'll make sure you are next in the bay." Pay the extra money and go elsewhere that will get you in and out in a fraction of the time. Your time is worth more than this ludicrous waiting. Going on two hours. The car is in. I have to rate this Wal Mart a 1 star. There are zero cashiers. You bag yourself. I have received zero training in bagging and I dont get the employee 10% discount. Prices do not reflect lower overhead by not having cashiers.. Then when you walk out they want to see your receipt. You don't have to do that unless they think you have stolen something. I wish I could give zero stars. I have done 2 mobile orders for pickup here. And both times my groceries weren't ready within the "time slot". They say my order is ready 30 minutes after my reservation time ends. And they don't even bring out my groceries until nearly an hour after that. I don't have all day to wait on these people. I ordered pickup to save time, not to wait for who knows how long to get some of the things I ordered. read more

Every time we come here the bathrooms ( both men and women) only have 1-2 functioning stalls! Walmart should have enough money to fix their bathrooms. The stall I was in had a door that didn't lock. No papers in the seat cover paper holder. The same stall door that was tied off with plastic bags the last time here ( several months ago) was still tied off. Purchased a gift card in Dallas, TX 4/8/19, mailed in a birthday card same day. Gift card received by recipient in Amarillo, TX and went to use on 4/13/19 and the gift card had been depleted and connected to this Midland location on 4/10/19. I must be linked to a scam/fraud of a gift card and I'm out $75. I called this store on 4/13/19 as soon as the Amarillo store looked up the transaction history and linked it here. I called to talk to someone and no one answered the phone all day. Called on 4/14/19 and finally after getting put on hold numerous times I talked to the manager on duty. He was very polite and took my information to research what terminal the gift card was used on, told me to call back if I haven't heard from him in a few hours. CURRENTLY I have been on hold for 35 minutes!!!!! No one who answers this phone is qualified nor gives a shit. They answer the phone and don't say anything, transfer you to a department, put you back on hold, someone picks up 10 minutes later and asks why I'm on hold, picks up again-doesn't say anything and puts you back on hold without saying anything. It's compeltely ridiculous and a huge reflection of the store and everyone in it. All I want is someone to figure out where fraud was committed at this location and possibly get my money back or a new gift card. read more

I tried doing curbside pickup and it was a terrible experience. I called the number they have posted to let them know I got there. No one answered. I called several times and never got anyone. Someone finally came out to bring an order for someone else, so I was able to talk to them. I then waited 20 more minutes for my order to finally come out. The two girls working were insanely slow. They couldn't move or walk slower if they tried. They reminded me of the sloths in zootopia. When I got home, I saw the fruit cups I ordered had mold on them and one of them had broken open, covering everything in juice. I will never be ordering from them again. Stay away. read more

Everyone here has an attitude. Asked about the hours and was not apologetic at all after realizing the hours were incorrect and wasting my time and gas. She literally turned her back on me as I was talking. Crap service. Also there's way too many employees just walking around when there's lines of people and empty registers everywhere. Horrible Wal-Mart. They close overnight to stock but are still out of everything during the days. I just waited in a line at the customer service window for 30 minutes and it barely moved. There are 8 people waiting behind me when I gave up and left. And the pharmacy is horrible. I did a prescription refill on. Thursday night and it still wasn't ready to pick up on Saturday. This store advertises overnight RV parking but when you go there the sign says not to. When I called the manager, of course I got a clerk who said they don't allow rv'ers. I'll go buy my groceries, etc elsewhere! We drove miles out of the way for the convenience of quick in and out shopping and overnight stay. Large rVs are not easy to drive! I have NEVER BEEN treated so horribly by a pharmacy in my life. I was running strait from the hospital. I called ahead since it would be close to closing time. They said they would help me. First the tech was RUDE. I COULD NOT hear her. She asked me to get the er on the phone w her and I got them on. She was rude to them and as they put her on hold and was getting the answer for Her but she handed me the phone. I said hello and she said I asked the tech to hold and I have her answer. The tech refused to take the call back saying she decided to look it up on the computer. The pharmacy said he was working on it. He pulled my record and I had pick pain meds the day a few days ago. I wasn't there for pain meds I was there for a muscle relaxer. He refused and said "I didn't need it to go take a advil". I told him I can't have nsaids. He said well I'm not filling this today u can come back tom. I live 1-1/2 min away and he refused! I asked Walmart manager & no one is over him to place complaint. He didn't fill it and told me to go take advil that I didn't need it. HE IS NOT A DOCTOR! How dare he treat me like a drug phen for muscle relaxers the doctors prescribed to help w my RA. He treated me horribly. I called ahead because it was close to closing and he was gonna do it until it was a med he said it didn't need. But told me to take meds I'm allergic too. I have never felt the need to yell but I yelled at anyone at Walmart but I called him a ASSHOLE! read more

Went in to buy sandwiche baggies. Found some for 2.98 upon getting to the register i was charged $4.98 after reviewing my receipt. I go back to the aisle 18 and see the ziplock bags that have two whole rows apparently in the wrong tag. I go back to the counter to explain that it's in the wrong place and I brought back the ones I wished to exchange instead of the ones that was purchased two min before. Keep in mind i never even left the store. Mariah CSM refused to exchange it. And said i have ti come back tomorrow. It didn't matter that the item was in the wrong place( not just one its was two rows of the item) , it also didn't matter that i had my receipt in hand and it also didn't matter that i never left the store and had purchased that item literally 120 seconds before. In addition there's nothing but resistance and attitude from just about every worker and associate there. It's the type of experience where you have to tell yourself that these workers probably only make minimum wage and take no ownership or pride in being here. And trust me with associates like that i want no business being there as well. Corporate you have serious issues and opportunities for improvement here! read more

This store is horrible. They have no idea about customer service. Don't they realize that we don't have to shop there? And I don't, not anymore. I've seen other stores remodel/ rearrange and they put maps on each & EVERY isle showing where to find what you're looking for. I think they're putting in more self check outs because they can't find people who have basic manners. When did customers not matter? I don't expect to have someone visit with me, especially when there's a line of people 5 deep behind me. But please acknowledge that I am there. I have been to a LOT of different Walmart's and this one is by far the worst. The employees at the customer service desk are rude and argumentative. The cashiers are incompetent at best. Employees do not want to be bothered with the exception of the automotive/paint dept, very friendly and helpful. I made sure I went to this one location at least four times before I gave them this rating. Do yourself a favor and go to another Walmart, not this one! read more

Horrible customer service- items frequently mislabeled and out of place- I have been passed off from Perrin to person before when simply asking for help because it was no ones department apparently- Treated poorly and treated like I was trying to steel something when following the directions of a store rep. I was moved from self check out to line 10 by the representative who didn't have time to help me with a price check even though there were two employees in the self check or and NO customers..... other than me. She said she didn't have the time. But she did have the time to chase me and rebid an item that I was obviously not trying to thieve as I waited in the line SHE told me too. She had no time to help me but all the time in the world to chase me and make me look and feel like crap in front of others. And then the same lady was making smart remarks as I walked past her to leave after an already awful experience. Her name was Judy, you gave service with a smile, talked crap through her teeth and didn't have time to help but had time to harass. Shame on you Walmart. read more

Not a bad location. Easy to get around. The bathroom commodes are so low to the ground that you risk injury to yourself.

This walmart has some good points and some bad points to it. The bad points are that this walmart has a lot of slow cashiers, and it rarely has any already charged scooters for my grandmother to roll around the store. Additionally, most of the time there is no one on the floor stocking groceries when I need someone to help me. However, the good points are that I have never had a more hospitable service. And though I don't always find someone in the grocery section, there is always an employee from a neighboring area to help me out. Additionally, the employees really do go to great lengths when it comes to trying to find a scooter for my grandmother, it's just that the scooters aren't always charged when they find the scooters. So, you win some and you lose some with this walmart. read more

one of the worst customer experiences i have ever had. the manager was extremely rude and a complete smart ass and not very helpful at all. waited 4 hours to get a tire put on, and mind you i live 7 hours away so i had no other way of getting home and traveling with a 1.5 year old. i wouldn't recommend going to this Walmart at all! read more
