This Walmart is very frustrating. Workers for the most part are nice. A few are unhelpful. The store itself is kinda messy. Most of the time it looks like a bull dozer went thru the place. Finding things is frustrating. Quality is good and bad. Produce mostly bad. Everything else OK. Can't mess up a prepackaged item. Unfortunately, it is the closest Walmart to me so when I need a quick item I go. Overall I feel I am kinda stuck going there because I have no other choice. It needs a lot of improvement. read more

I bought this furniture online and walmart policy said I can return it at any store un-boxed. Assistant at this walmart would not accept the furniture unless I paid $20 of fedex boxes and boxed it all up, which was very difficult to do given the complexity of the furniture. read more

This is horrible service for their pick up service they have. It took forever for the items to be brought to your vehicle. I was here before sunset, it is now sunset, but i don't see my stuff being brought out because there are still several people waiting to be served ahead of me. This has to be the worst run store in the Northeast Ohio area. I have had multiple negative experiences with this store; however, this last experience was the breaking point for me. I placed a curbside order pricing around $100. It was supposed to be ready between 6-7pm. At 7pm, I received a notification that my order was delayed, so I rescheduled for the next day. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I waited for AN HOUR for my order. I had my 2 year old in the car, and we both waited patiently . I flagged down one of the curbside workers, and he said that he would check on my order. I am not kidding when I say one of the workers was moving at the SLOWEST pace possible, and he was probably 18 years old. I watched him THROW bags into a lady's trunk. The worker finally came back out and told me that they couldn't find my order. Meanwhile, I have tried 13 times to contact the store. No answer. These call attempts were screen shotted. Finally, I got ahold of the 1800 wal mart number and they advised me to leave and get a refund. When I was pulling out of the parking lot, I saw the original male worker and a new young female worker. I didnt want to pull off without notice, so I rolled down my window to tell them I was leaving. I said "hey it's been an hour, so i'm going to leave". The female worker had the upmost nerve to say , "Uhm you need to be patient- we are racked up back there". This made my blood boil. She began arguing with me with her terrible attitude. I immediately canceled my wal mart membership. Meanwhile, it's been almost two weeks, and I have yet to hear back from management. I was always a Target girlie- and this just confirmed it. Walmart Supercenters are not known for their exceptional service. Generally, people go to Walmart for their low prices and great selection. This Walmart is one of my favorite in the area. Good ole Macedonia, called the store 5 times on 2/22/22 between 0810 and 0824 am , 5 times the phone was picked up ( I could hear the rattling of the phone) and 5 times I was hung up on. Never got through had to drive to the store which is not in my neighborhood. read more

This store is often out of stock that other Walmarts do have in stock. Many of the employees who have been there for years are friendly and helpful. Many of the young employees act as if they're doing you a favor to look in your direction and are cold and uncaring. read more

This place has gone downhill. Ghetto, Nasty, unprofessional, unprofessional workers and the Clientele that have been attracting, lately... i guess everyone comes here instead of the inner city. Newsflash... now everyone comes out here, it's really bad.... steelyard, university and NOW MACEDONIA.... I will find another Walmart to start shopping at soon. This location, will not do... better yet, Target is not far...... whatever they are doing, Walmart needs to borrow some of their business concepts... pay your Stockers, a good hourly rate... this store stays, unstock... and its a good chance, the food is stored in the back of their store on shelves, so when it finally meet the consumers, it been sitting on a shelf for about 6months or longer... waste of food life and possible risk of other things to happen. For people who drive here to steal, know they watch you like a hawk, and Macedonia police will be waiting for you outside, those doors... the employees seem to spend the majority of their time talking, b.s-n around, don't know anything about their store or products, don't seem to care, don't understand customer services, lack of professionalism and seem to have placed a high priority on following people around. ( along with watching, stalking, harassing, and cursing people out. At the very least, ask do they want some help.) I have been patient more than enough, the next time they act foolish, I will be placing a lawsuit against the workers in their personal and professional capacity. Wish I could give negative stars! I have tried to be understanding but I am paying for W+ and over the past month places at least 3-4 orders for delivery that I have not received. No one ever picks up the phone when you call. I called the 800 number and was told to wait another hour to see if my order was on its way. Well, my order that was supposed to be here between 4-5 tonight still is not here after a 2 hour delay and it is now 10 pm! Yesterday my fiancée and I were looking to buy a Nintendo Switch. We couldn't find one at our local Walmart, but they told us this store in Macedonia had four Switches in stock. Before we made the 45 minute drive to the Macedonia store I called to confirm they were in stock. The person we spoke with on the phone confirmed they did. So we made the drive and upon arrival we found they only had one in stock, and it wasn't the model we were looking for (girl on the phone said they had four grey Nintendo Switches and the only model in stock was the OLED model). Since we already made the drive, we decided to buy the one they had. Then we drove back home and started installing it. However, the box did not have several items that were supposed to be included; mainly an AC adapter. So we couldn't even charge the thing to use it. Since we had already been lied to, and spent over $500 on what was basically a plastic brick, I called the store. The guy in electronics told me to bring everything back. I mentioned the drive time and asked to speak with a manager. He decided the right thing to do at that point was to hang up on me. We made several attempts to call other departments, in hopes to speak with a manager but we're unable to. So now we are stuck with a useless product and have no recourse other than posting this yelp review. I would avoid this Walmart at all costs. UPDATE: I was able to charge the Switch using a generic USB-C cable. Once it was powered on we found that the switch was USED. It already had two profiles loaded onto the device. Bad customer service. Phones never work. They will leave you in the drive up parking area forever waiting for your order before you have to go inside to track someone down. Consumer beware - do not use Walmart grocery delivery. I usually use Insracart thru Heinen's, but with the holiday I decided to get the staples from Walmart. The driver arrived and took no less then 10 minutes to drag the bags to my front door. Literally- 10 minutes. He wouldn't let me start taking the bags in because he had to take a photo. So as I finally start to load in- I realize they are not my groceries. It took 10 minutes to convince him to take them back, 3 calls to customer service, 2 calls to the store and 24 hours later I still don't have my groceries for Thanksgiving and they have charged my card including a tip for that driver. I should have known not to use them. Learn from my experience and shop elsewhere. #WalmartSucks read more

This Walmart is so trashy. It is the worst Walmart I have ever visited. Service it terrible, shelves are not kept stocked and employees are not helpful and they complain about working there where everyone can here. I was in this Walmart on 12/21 the Saturday before Christmas and there were only 4 registers open. The lines were so long. I stood in line for 40 minutes and I was there were still six people ahead me with shopping carts full I left my merchandise and left the store. I use to always go to the Wal-Mart in Macedonia but over the past couple of years, I have seen a decline. Majority of the workers are so rude, they think they are doing us a favor for working there. Yesterday, I went to a register as soon as I got close they shut the light off, when I went to register 8 same thing. I finally went to a cashier that did not shut her light off ( I wish she did) I'm not sure what this girls issue was but she threw my stuff in the bags so hard, I actually thought my milk was punctured. Now I know why they put in self scanners, I will definitely be using them. Maybe if more people do , those entitled workers will have to find another job!!! read more

OMG!!! This store is amazing!!! Walmart always has low affordable prices and I usually find what I'm looking for! When I went to get a Harry Styles cd, they had it. This place is everything you hope for in a store. Their clothes selection is magnificent. They have floral, patterned, and many options for shirts and pants. If you are looking for a paint color, you should most definitely find it. The workers were very polite to me. Also, their movie selection was phenomenal. If you want to cry, smile or laugh, they'll have a movie for you. If you want to make a gourmet meal, you should be able to find ingredients that Gordon Ramsey uses!! read more

UPDATE: They installed about 6 self service lanes, which make the lines go much faster. Overall: It's great to have a Supercenter in the area and prices are low, but service and selection is limited at best. Selection: 2 stars. I like how it is a Supercenter, but they are frequently out of stock of food. Service: 2 stars. The lines can be very long and they don't seem to have urgency to open new lines. Finding a worker in the aisles is very hard to find, compared to Target in which they are relatively plentiful. Prices: 5 stars. Very low prices, especially for food. Appearance: 4 stars. Drove to the store around 9pm and the order was not ready (knowing I did not recieve an email but knowing it was in stock). I went to the back and the game was locked but 8 were in stock. They said not to get the game and to wait til I recieved an email. My stupid ass left.....regardless its Tuesday, the 20th at 10:07pm and I have called twice and there is nothing they can do to help. This store has gotten better within the past couple months. It has really cleaned up from what it used to be. The employees do a great job at keeping it neat and organized. The remodel has made the store a bit plain but that doesn't really matter. One thing that does need to change is the professionalism of the store. Every time I go I hear a manager literally yelling at an employee for not being fast enough or I hear the managers talking about an employee either in the aisles or on the walkies. It's not professional at all to discuss with other coworkers about another employee in public. First impressions was that it was a decent Walmart. Smaller than other ones I have been to buy a Walmart none the less. After a couple of shopping trips to this location, it being the closest to me, I've started noticing things. First, walking around the store nothing is placed on the shelf where they should be. By this I mean that if you want a certain product you have to scan all of the price tags to find the price of the item you want. Second, walking around I've noticed that there is a lot of the products on the ground. Like someone knocked it over and just walked away. Which in all honesty I could see the happening with maybe one or two things, but every isle has something knocked on the floor. Finally the employees are the rudest people I've ever met. Not very many of the employees smile. Given there are a few that do and when I have to go to this location I always try to seek them out. Like any other store though when you need help with something no one is there to help you. My opinion to do a different location. Streetboro's or Stow's are my choice in stores if you are close to those two areas. read more

This was one of the first Walmarts in the area. It has upgraded to Supercenter status. It is still a bit small, and looks old compared to other sites. That being said, relatively well stocked, clean. Helpful checkout people. Good location read more
